We had a wonderful stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. Great and short walk to all our favorite places. Would stay again and recommend to many!

I cannot tell you how wonderful the Merlin Guesthouse is.  The property, the pool, breakfast, the service, and the people.  My husband and I have been going to Key West since we were married there in 2005.  We normally go twice a year and each time, we stay at a Historic Key West Inns hotel.  We have decided that although the other properties in their collection are awesome, the Merlin is just HEAVEN.   Shout out to Lee, Linda, Devin and Kenneth!  You guys always go above and beyond! And we look forward to seeing you on our next trip!!

I am very glad we chose Cypress House for our recent visit to Key West. Our rooms were very nice and the guest house had good amenities. I loved the location as well.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Cypress House. We had room #1 which had porch access on the first floor, which we used. The breakfasts were great, and we also stopped by for the liming hour once, which was nice and unexpected. The room was comfortable. Location to the action was also excellent. Would recommend and return. Price was a bit high, but it seems most accommodations in Key West are going up a lot each year, which is sad, as it makes longer stays there a littler harder to afford.

We had an excellent time again! Room 26 was great! When I booked the room I was hoping for coconut lane but it did not work out but we were very happy anyway. Thanks again for a great stay! P.S. See if you can give Michele (if I spelled it right) a vacation so she can go to Connecticut to enjoy our winters up here!

My husband and I stayed at the Key Lime Inn for two nights in December and enjoyed it very much.  The property consists mostly of individual cottages, although there is also a main house that has several rooms.  We stayed in their nicest cottage type, the Deluxe King.  We had #18 but there are 4 other Deluxe cottages.  The pros: units are tastefully decorated, quiet and private (because they’re detached), very convenient to Duval St. area (2 blocks), the grounds and pool are nicely maintained.  The cons: our unit wasn’t spotless (just a little dusty, not terrible – and I’m very picky) and although it is a very nice property it isn’t five star luxury.  I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others, but I would always opt for the Deluxe cottage, I think the others are smaller and lack the privacy because they are not detached units.

I researched tons of hotels to suit our needs for our key west stay, and the Merlin Guesthouse delivered them all. I wanted more than just one room with 2 beds for some privacy while staying with my soon to be inlaws. We booked the 1 bedroom cottage and it was perfect. Inlaws can’t walk much, so location was also important. From our hotel, we were 2 blocks away from the middle of Duval, which allowed us to have both the left and right side of it each day. Breakfast was delicious, you could taste the freshness of the local pastries. Parking was limited to 2 cars but we secured a spot. The pool was lit at night, great patio furniture as well. I’m looking forward to our next stay here for sure!

Michelle at the Key Lime Inn made us feel welcome from the second we walked in the door. We traveled to key west from ft myers with no hotel plans. We walked into a few places, checked out what they had to offer us for we were 2 couples. She got us a room at a price we were wanting! Our reservation was for one night but we liked it so much we checked back in for a second night. Thank you for making our first trip to the keys a great one!!

The Cypress House has an excellent location, close to Duval Street but still far enough to be quiet at night.
The rooms are just lovely and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was as good as it gets in the US, it’s just not a breakfast nation.
