My wife and I stayed in the Cypress House (guest house) when we came to participate in the Key West 1/2 Marathon.  Loved it!  Location was perfect…close enough to Duval Street to enjoy all its action, yet just far enough to retreat at our leisure, and close enough to the harbor to dine and wander.  Accommodations were fabulous…quiet room afforded comfort (we spent as much time relaxing on the private porch as we did anywhere!)  Guest services personnel were superb and as accommodating as any top-rate hotel in the country.  Thanks especially to Kelly and Dennis for going the extra miles with smiles and helpful attitudes throughout our stay!   Atmosphere was terrific…the happy hour and breakfast options allowed us to mingle with other guests and the local feline!  Great added touch to prepare us for a full day and to relax us at the end.   We hope to return again soon!

I’m a Florida resident and when booking our trip to key west a couple months ago it was very hard to find a place that met to our standard at this peak time of traveling when these were more expensive than usual. I was beyond lucky to be able to get a room at the Key Lime Inn. The staff  was more than courteous with all my questions and special situations when booking, asking for a room away from any trees and foliage because of my allergies. The price was on the lower end compared to the other place at the time and I’m beyond happy that we choose this establishment for our weekend getaway. I loved the little bungalow style rooms, gave us plenty of privacy and it being separated from other guests at the hotel was perfect, far enough away from the busiest street in town, Duval, we were in an area that was both quiet but easily able to walk from to any destination on the little island. Rooms were clean and provided us exactly what we were looking for with our visit. I was beyond happy with our stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the place to others as well as book there again. Also my girlfriend is allergic to dogs and cats so finding a place that was pet free was another plus as well, all in all I couldn’t ask for anything more.

Thank you very much and look forward to staying there again!

Everything about our stay was terrific starting with the suggestion during check-in that we use the just down the street public parking garage, and the handy payment as part of check-in. The first floor room was perfect for my wife who does not enjoy flights of stairs.

I enjoyed the original non-paint scheme on the Kemp House siding.  The pool size was perfect as one could actually swim in it and not simply “bob” around.

The breakfast were more than ample and very delicious and the afternoon “liming hour” with sangria’s was perfect.

Finally, location, location, location; perfect! Nearly everything to be seen in Key West is within walking distance and the beaches are within a short drive around the corner.

Perfect all around!

We stayed with my husband there just one night, my favorite part was location you can rent bicycle just down the street, or we took taxi and it was around $7 from state park to the hotel which i think was very reasonable. The hotel offered a great breakfast with locally made pastries which i found absolutely delicious, of course cereal, fruits, coffee etc. The front desk people were very friendly and helpful. The only thing that i didn’t like that room had very old A/C and it was so humid that my swim suit wouldn’t even dry, room was very short on towels.

But it was nice to have a coffee machine and little fridge right in the room.

Overall we had a good experience ,but next time i would prefer the room on the same side with the pool.

This hotel is a perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet place but also close to the main duval street. Staff was great! Friendly and helpful. Nice pool to cool off in. Zero complaints. Would stay again and also recommend.

Staff–friendly and accommodating. We were able to check in a bit early thanks to the diligence of the staff checking to see if our room was ready. They were also great about us leaving our luggage in the lobby on our check-out date.

Room–immaculate and huge! The room was spotless and smelled very clean. The layout of the room was ideal for a party of three. Due to the layout and size of the room, we were able to create a bit of privacy and easily move around each other while getting ready for the day.

Breakfast–beautiful setting and nice food. The outdoor setting by the pool is a nice way to enjoy the beautiful Key West weather and flora. The food was varied and delicious. From whole fruit and hard boiled eggs to locally made pastries, the breakfast was the perfect start to our day.

Other–I love that all the artwork in the hotel lobby is locally created and for sale. Staying at Albury Court is a bit like spending the night in an art museum.

Thank you for a great stay!

My first trip to Key West and I am glad we chose Cypress House.  Quaint, charming and a wonderful location.  The breakfast was great and we loved the liming (happy) hour!  My favorite – Jane the cat!  Please continue to take care of her!!!

The person at check -in, Rose, was extremely professional and knowledgeable.
The rooms were extremely airy and comfortable. The breakfast was first class. The housekeeping staff were attentive to detail and kept the rooms clean and provided plenty of towels, etc. The location of the hotel, being directly across from the Hemingway House and a block from Duval is perfect ! I was so impressed that I recommended the Lighthouse Court to a friend and they have booked a room for mid June. The Key West Ambiance is extraordinary. My wife Carol and I had a great meal at Caroline’s and enjoyed the Stag Show at Aqua.

Respectfully submitted,

Martin Landin

My wife and I stayed 3 nights and were totally satisfied. The staff was friendly, pool was clean. Guests were all so nice, it felt like a family gathering. Price was a bit high for what is was, but it turned out to be worth it in the end. Be back in a few months. We also stayed at their Albury Court hotel previously and would recommend it as well.

We had a fabulous time on a long weekend at Key West, the Lighthouse Court Hotel was an excellent choice, right in the heart of the city, staff were very friendly and accommodating.  Amenities included pool and continental breakfast in the courtyard.
