My husband and I chose the Lighthouse Court Hotel as the location for our wedding in March 2014. We stayed in the Hemingway Suite which is a beautiful 2-story apartment with a great wrap around porch. The staff was very helpful while booking multiple rooms for family and friends and during the check in process. The wedding coordinator, Mary, was exceptional and made the entire process so smooth for us. The grounds at the Lighthouse Court Hotel are well maintained and the location is perfect. It is only one block from busy Duval St so everything is easy to walk to yet it is very quiet so you can get a good nights rest.  I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Key West!

The location of the hotel is really good! The staff very responsive, the room was clean, small but cozy! little things were missing …… In the bathroom should have more shelves, hocks so you can hang the towels after using it, in the shower more shelves so you can put your toiletries.  If they fix those little things it would make the guests more comfortable.

The Internet doesn’t work very well in the rooms.  Overall we enjoyed our stay !

Chelsea House is a charming hotel, and we enjoyed our stay there. No, it doesn’t have the amenities and glitz of an expensive resort. But it was quiet and quaint, and the atmosphere was tropical and fun, all for a decent price. We stayed there for a wedding, along with about 10 other wedding guests, all of whom had a great time. The rooms were well sized, comfortable, and clean. The staff was very accommodating, from check-in, to planning activities, to check-out. They had a complimentary cold breakfast buffet that provided the breakfast basics, and they had complimentary iced tea by the pool throughout the day. The pool was great! Not huge but well sized for the size of the hotel.

We were 2 blocks from Duval street, about midway between the east and west end of Duval, which made it easy to go out on the town without needing a car or other transportation. We were within easy walking distance of other activities in Key West too (full disclosure, we are from NYC and are used to walking a bit). I liked being a little deeper within real key west, instead of at one of the large resorts or along the touristy Duval street. They had ample parking for everyone.

The Key lime Inn is an exceptional cottage experience, friendly and considerate staff provided a great atmosphere.  Great location, perfect for a quant couples retreat.

This is our second stay for my husband and I. We were quite comfortable with our king size bed and asked for the same room number again. Pool is relaxing, sun deck is optimal UV index, continental breakfast is fresh and local items. Afternoon tea helps to rehydrate. Love the new red cushioned patio furniture. Betsy was always a huge help and eager to hear of our adventures. We also visited the Mojito Bar twice at the Lighthouse Court Hotel, another of their properties. Enjoyed Ray and Peter’s company and fresh mojito’s. Can’t wait to come back, may even bring our teen daughters. Got a room for 4?

We have been to a few of the Historic Key West Inns properties.  We were pleased with all of them, but this was definitely our favorite!  The staff was kind and welcoming, especially Jeremiah at the front desk.  The property was beautiful, and the continental breakfast excellent!  We liked having the convenience of a cafe & bar on premises, and loved the music playing out by the pool.  Our room was perfect for our stay, and the porch overlooking Whitehead St. was our favorite part.  We would definitely come back to stay here again.  Our only disappointment was to find out we could not reserve a specific room.  We are planning a visit with friends this summer, and were hoping for the loft room.  It is the most convenient for our group of travelers, and fits our needs perfectly.  We would happily pay in full up front to hold the room, but the folks at the front desk told us that was not possible; rooms are assigned on the day of arrival, and no guarantees could be made that we would get that room.  We would also love to have a room with a porch on our next stay alone, but obviously cannot guarantee that either.  Not sure we understand that policy, but would probably choose another place where we know we could get a space that accommodates our crowd.

This was our 2nd time visiting Key West. Previously we had stayed at a large resort at the entrance of the island – this time we didn’t want the hassle of cab rides – we wanted to be within walking distance to all the sights. The Key Lime Inn provided  exactly what we were looking for and more: kind staff at check in/out, free parking in a large private parking lot, generous sized pool for the location, a good cup of coffee and decent continental breakfast included daily, our king sized room was well kept and the walk out porch was really a nice bonus! [The only thing I would change would be the pillows - too firm for our liking.] Best of all – the location! It is perfect, really. You are a less than 5 minute walk to Duval Street yet it is quiet enough that you wouldn’t realize how close you are to the action until you walk off the property and up the road. Certainly you should check out all that Duval and Front Street have to offer. But, I encourage you to take a detour on your way  to the quieter streets to soak up the local flavor and architecture.  Favorite restaurants/Cafes: Croissant de France, Lobos, Sarabeth’s, Sunset Pier.

The inn was clean and quite.  It is off Truman Ave and I was concerned about the noise from the street, but it was very quite.  I would stay there again.
