I put my nephews up at the Albury Court Hotel while we were in town for a friend’s wedding. I was at the hotel & in their room many times.  The experience was delightful from phone calls before arrival to the check-in process through the stay.  The room was spotlessly clean, cool, and bright and modern. The staff was amazing – esp. the folks at front desk and Marques.  The continental breakfast was ample and fresh.  The property was quiet and felt like a little haven from the noise of Duval and surroundings.  We look forward to visiting again!

Not sure what the young lady’s name was that checked us in but she was more than pleasant and helpful.  Our room  was ready, clean and comfortable. She was able to answer questions and offer suggestions.  I loved the location as it was a short walk from the Key West Express where we arrived in port.  The Conch Train offered us transport to various interests in Key West and the Flagler Station was close.  Harbor Walk offered plenty to do, Dante’s, Turtle Kraal, Waterfront brewery and more.  The views were beautiful.  We walk to Duval street also which was less than a mile.  All the staff at Albury Court Hotel greeted us with smiles.  Breakfast by the pool was just enough to start our day.  Would definitely refer others to this Hotel.

My husband and I recently vacationed for the first time in Key West. Not knowing the area, we got lucky by choosing the Lighthouse Court Hotel.  The location was perfect.  We were delighted that we could walk everywhere.  Many local attractions are close by and the trolley stop is just 2 blocks away.  Our room was clean and nicely furnished.  My only complaint is that there was not enough counter space in the bathroom. No place to sit a toothbrush, hair dryer etc.  It made getting ready a bit challenging.  Also would have been nice to have a full size ironing board in the room.  The front desk staff was a wealth of knowledge providing us with a map and discount coupons to numerous museum’s and restaurants.  We enjoyed the patio area, the pool and the pool bar.  Gary the cat and the mama chicken with her peeps were an added bonus.  All in all a great hotel.  We will return.

We stayed at Chelsea House Hotel for three nights, and we absolutely loved it!
Our room was homey and clean, and the bed was very comfortable.
The pool/pool area was calm and relaxing, the breakfast was good and had everything we wanted, and the location was perfect; close to Duval Str, Southernmost point and Hemingway house.
The hotel is perfect if you want to get that genuine historic Key West feeling!
We would like to acknowledge the staff at the reception desk; Very service minded and courteous.

We will definitely recommend your hotel to friends planning to visit Key West!

Had a great 4day, 3night stay for our 15th anniversary. Clean, comfortable, relaxing, everything we wanted. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially with parking as well as with recommending and booking a sunset cruise for us. (Thank you Jacob!). It was our first time in Key West, so we were out and about most of our time there.  We missed the Liming, but saw many guests there having a great time while we were passing through. Pool area was beautiful and inviting. The breakfast was perfect for us, with a good variety of staples as well as a few items that changed daily. Lovely sitting area overlooking the pool for the Liming and breakfast, and to go coffee cups so I could bring a coffee with me as we started our day were appreciated. We loved our stay and will both recommend Cypress House Hotel and return ourselves!

We stayed at the Merlin Guest House for 3 nights, as we were in town for a wedding. Starting from check-in, our whole stay went smoothe and everybody was friendly. The rooms were nice and clean. We had a queen room. The room was on the small side. There was a bed, chair, small bench, dresser, tv, and that’s about it…basically everything you need to sleep and be comfortable. However, we did miss it not having a fridge. It was 85+ degrees and humid everyday we were there, and we had no way to keep beverages cold besides filling up our small ice bucket and storing a couple of water bottles at a time there. Breakfast was simple with the same thing every morning which was fine for us…local bagels & croissants, muffins, cereal, yogurt, juice and coffee (no hot entrees). Pool was small and we did not use. With all being said, it was a GREAT location within walking distance to Duval and we would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at the Chelsea House Hotel for numerous reasons, but the main one that made our stay exceptional was because of the young girl named Kate Niezbeckn. We were to stay upstairs on the third floor but she could tell it would be hard for us to climb the stairs and carry our luggage.  She spent extra time with calls to the management to see if she could get us a room on the ground floor. We loved that small room. We needed two extra towels and she went out of her way to bring them to us.  Breakfast the next morning was great but my wife left her purse in a chair by the pool. She did not miss it because we were getting ready to leave. A nice lady that worked there ( do not know her name ) turned it in to the office. She recognized us and said she had taken the purse to Kate up front. We picked up the purse !!!!  These are good people and Kate is a precious person and a great employee.  Thank you !

Several weeks ago we came down and stayed at Lighthouse Court (our favorite) and stayed for three days. As usual, the room was spotless and the staff was very, very nice, including the young lady that worked the front counter…We had brought a plant down for one of your locals that I had grown from seed and asked her if she could”Keep an eye on it” until my friend picked it up…She not only kept an eye on it but she brought it inside at night and when my friend picked it up…called me to tell us he had come….She was the best!  We will see you again soon!

P.S. When ever someone asks us where we stay we tell them Lighthouse Court Hotel.

We stayed at the Merlin Guest House March 2016 and enjoyed the stay so much that we returned in September 2016.  We couldn’t have asked for a cleaner, friendlier and more convenient location for our stay.  From the time you arrive with a greeting from the staff to the time you MUST leave, everything at the Merlin Guest House is exceptional.  We enjoyed the continental breakfast each morning and appreciated the refreshing iced tea that was out all afternoon while we relaxed in the pool.  The rooms were very clean and the service staff was always smiling and taking care of anything that you needed.

Don’t hesitate to stay at the Merlin Guest House, you won’t be disappointed.
