I had never stayed in Key West and was delighted to be greeted by an amazing staff!! They were ALL very polite and attentive during my entire stay. The location is perfect, close enough to walk to everything and far enough away from the madness. Also, do not forget about the free continental breakfast, poolside and  great variety to choose from!!

We had an awesome time staying at the inn. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Everyone that we came into contact with was very nice and also very helpful. The room was perfect for us and the bathroom was huge. Loved that! We enjoyed every second that we spent there and would stay there again without a doubt. We loved that we could park our car and walk to anywhere we wanted and then be able to come back to our quiet room. We loved the quaintness that the hotel has and we have already told a few people about the place since we got home yesterday.

Loved it, thanks!!!

We stayed 3 nights at the Merlin Guesthouse.  Check in/out was a breeze and all info was accurate.  The grounds were beautiful.  The staff was courteous and helpful.  The blueberry muffins on the continental breakfast were very good.  If we had it to do again, we would choose a king room, as the queen room was kind of small.  The location was great; one block off Duval and just blocks from everything on the island.  We rented a scooter from A&M Rentals which was a very convenient 2 blocks away and that is definitely the best way to get around on the island.  All in all, we had a great stay in Key West.

Really enjoyed my stay. Great location, good size room and very clean. Staff were very warm; especially Robbi who gave some very good local advice.

Two things for improvement are: breakfast time to be extended until 11.30 ( I arrived a bit late and almost everything cleared by staff) and for the prize paid would have been nice that there was free transportation offered to/from airport are (total of an extra 30 dollars for the two rides)

Our stay at The Key Lime Inn was definitely a highlight of our 3 week motorcycle adventure through Florida.  The minute we pulled into the parking lot, I could tell it was going to be great.  The grounds are immaculate and the accommodations are splendid and perfect.  Check in was easy and pleasant.  We were traveling with my sister and brother in law and we both were pleased with where our cottages were located.  We were in 20, which in our opinion, is the best. The room was clean and comfortable, loved the way it was tastefully decorated.  The porch was inviting with comfy deck chairs and beautiful potted flowers.  Our cottage was cleaned with care during the entire 4 day stay.  Breakfast by the pool was wonderful.  We appreciated the good selection of breakfast items.  We took a day off of sightseeing and enjoyed a day at the beautiful pool.  It was so clean, the water temperature was perfect and the deck chairs comfy.  EVERY SINGLE MEMBER of the staff were so friendly, pleasant and helpful.  We were always greeted with a smile, a hello and an offer to help.  We appreciated the hard work and dedication of everyone.  Restaurant recommendations were terrific – Salute on the Beach and Hot Tin Roof.  We appreciated Michelle’s(sp?) advice and making reservations for us.  Both meals I had at these locations were probably the best I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant.  Wish we would have asked for recommendations the first night as our meal at the Grand Cafe was not good at all.  A favorite thing we did while in Key West was rent tandem bicycles and tour the town by bike.  It was definitely a fun, great way to get around.  It was so convenient that the bike shop was located so close to Key Lime Inn.  Check out was equally easy and pleasant.  We would without a doubt recommend Key Lime Inn to family and friends.  It is so conveniently located – within walking or biking distance to anything.  And the friendliness of everyone on staff was impressive!  Thank you so much for making our stay in Key West so memorable!  Please pass along our praises to your entire staff.

We had my husband’s 70th birthday party here and it was fantastic. Rented the Hemingway Suite for our gathering area and it is beautiful, especially for a man who loves Hemingway – he could sit out on his deck and see the Hemingway house. Mary Simmons helped me arrange everything and she is a gem. Everyone was very helpful, especially Robbi at the front desk – answering all our questions and getting all the special things we asked for. All service was wonderful, rooms great. I highly recommend.

For a great authentic Cuban restaurant, we recommend El Siboney – if you like paella, you order a hour ahead of time. So yummy – beautiful birthday cake from Key West cakes.

When I booked this room I was so stressed out from nursing school, I was desperate to find peace and quiet. I felt my blood pressure going up with every test I took. The moment I checked into the Chelsea House, the front desk staff was very nice and knowledgeable about the area and told me tons of things to check out while I was there. The room was awesome, very comfortable beds, I slept like a baby all 6 days I was there. The pool was just right for relaxing, and the breakfast in the mornings overlooking the pool was very nice as well. Thanks guys for de-stressing me.

I stayed at the Chelsea house on the week of 5/29, room big enough for our needs, the b&b provides safe off street parking which is a bonus, most places I stayed at I had to scramble for a parking spot everyday. the rear of the Chelsea has a nice quiet pool and in the same area a free breakfast every morning. the Chelsea House is convenient to attractions and in walking distance.

staff is friendly and helpful.
