I loved the breakfast around the pool, the large room with big poster bed and walk in shower, the friendly people in the office, the great parking, and the smiles from all the people that work there!!

Been to key west over 20 times on business in the last 3 years. On word for Chelsea House — WOW !! — . Exactly as described, Old Key West Charm and very romantic. The business trip was cut from 3 days to 1 at the last minute. I should have taken 2 vacation days and stayed; my mistake. Next trip I am going to try the Merlin Guesthouse.

Managia Mangia Pasta is the greatest! Its not in the tourist section so the prices are not jacked up. Food is super fresh, and wine list is reasonable

The Chelsea House is a nice historic inn on a well-kept property with an attractive pool area. Plenty of shady spots were available-always a plus in the tropical heat. We stayed in a Junior King suite for 7 nights (# 33b, I believe). The room was large and well-designed with attractive details. We liked the high-end, stainless steel appliances and marble counter tops in the bathroom but our favorite feature was the private balcony overlooking Elizabeth Street. We did have a pleasant stay and would not hesitate to recommend the Chelsea House to a friend.

One of our all-time favorites is Ambrosia on Simonton Street. They have a wonderful selection of sake and the sushi could not be fresher! We are definitely sushi lovers and this place far exceeds any sushi bars we have back home. The chef is creative and innovative and the restaurant offers unique menu items such as duck tataki. Great ambiance in a chiq modern setting while, compared to other great dining establishments on the island, the cost remains quite reasonable. The only drawback: no outdoor seating.

We LOVE the butterfly conservancy at the south end of Duval St. It seems a little pricey before you enter ($ 12/adult) but you will discover it’s well worth it! It is a lush, tropical greenhouse with countless species of colorful butterflies that are quite likely to land on your shoulder. There are also quail and other small birds. A great opportunity to take some good pictures! I don’t normally care for gift shops, but the one at the conservancy is rather impressive with a huge selection of (non-tacky) butterfly-themed jewelry and art.

We stayed with our pet the first week of May. We had a large king room with a porch which was perfect for our mastiff. The cleaning staff was excellent & responded quickly when we called to tell them we were vacating the room with our pet. We were very impressed with the property and found the staff very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again & recommend it to our friends.

The room was magnificent and located in a great part of the city. However, the best part of the stay was the girl at the front desk. Her name is Lyeanne and she was so enthusiastic that it was catching! She knows every spot in Key West and everywhere that she told us to go was absolutely the best. She was great, and without her I our stay would not have been nearly as enjoyable.

We stayed here this year and in 2011. We are with the Old Town Chapter of Harley Davidson from Brandon Florida. Thank you for opening your arms to us bikers. Not many hotels would be as welcoming as your hotel has been. Very nice rooms, great pool with breakfast in the morning. Will definitely be staying here in years to come!

We have stayed at Chelsea House a few times, but this was our first visit with our min pin, Rocco. We loved the pet friendly junior suite. It was like staying in a little cottage

Blue Heaven is always a must. Square One was excellent for food and service once again. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Pepe’s on Caroline. And we were able to take Rocco with us to all three!
