My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Albury Court! The location was perfect (walking distance to duval) which is a must. The rooms were very cozy and extremely well kept.  Another plus was the staff. Everyone was very helpful and had a great attitude. I would definitely recommend staying here.

My husband and I visit Key West for our wedding anniversary every summer- this summer marked 9 years. On our third visit to Key West we stayed at the Merlin Guest House and we have stayed there every summer since. My husband books on-line and we have never had an issue. The only bad part about checking out is that it means that we have to leave. We love the rooms- they are always clean and ready for us when we arrive. All of the staff from the person who checks us in to the grounds keepers and cleaning staff are always pleasant, knowledgeable, willing to share a smile or answer a question-always. The staff have always helped in any way they could to help us to have the most pleasureable experience possible. Anytime we hear of someone taking a trip to Key West we suggest they stay at the Merlin Guest House. I really wish that I had noted the name of the staff on duty while we were there because all of them were exceptional.

Some of our favorite places to visit while in Key West are the dessert restaurant Better Than Sex, Conch Republic, Pinchers, Mallory Square and this year we took the Fury Jet Ski Tour and had a wonderful time.

All in all as long as the staff at your hotel continue to do what they have been doing for the past nine summers I do not have any plans to ever stay anyplace else. :)

Sincerely,

Christina

We have been regulars at Chelsea House for over 15 years & each time we walk through the doors there is a sense of coming home. Lyann is beyond enthusiastic & friendly. She went out of her way to meet our needs, even rescuing us with an umbrella & calling the Ferry (on her own) to be sure we had the correct departure times.  Brian gave excellent dinner & activity suggestions & fun was had by our entire group.

One suggestion- please add  an additional mirror (lengthwise is perfect ) on the wall or back of door so more than 1 person can get ready at a time.  With 4 ladies in a  large room it would definitely help :)

I was a returning guest and requested #3 casita. It is perfect for one person, and has a lovely sitting area outside. The staff was friendly, and helpful. The room was perfect, with one exception–such little slivers of soap. Surely the bath bar size can be increased! I look forward to a return visit soon!

The Merlin Guesthouse was a great experience for my partner and I. Our room was clean and quaint with the old Key West ambiance. The location was convenient and the staff was helpful. I would definitely reserve a stay here again.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Chelsea House over the July fourth week. It was adorable, clean and centrally located. It is exactly as pictured. The staff was super helpful and readily available. We had a balcony and found it very enjoyable. It had accessible parking and was in a great location. The only drawback was the continental breakfast. We had planned on eating breakfast there every morning, but elected to spend money and go else where. I have already recommended it to friends and would come back again myself.

My husband and I stayed here for a couple nights (7/12-7/14) and absolutely loved it!! The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful when we were trying to find good places to eat and visit. Hotel was very clean and had a nice pool area. Very close to Duval St. Check-in and check-out was very fast and easy. We will definitely return :)

We stayed at the Albury Court Hotel both before and after a trip with the Boy Scouts to the Sea Base Brinton Center Out Island Adventure.  The Hotel has a great location and very friendly staff.  The perfect location if you want to take the day trip to the Dry Tortugas and Fort Jefferson, as the ferry terminal is less than two blocks away.  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Key West was a nice end of our road trip from Orlando with my two sons and the elder ‘s girl friend . The location is just great, both central and relatively quiet despite the proximity of Duval street. The “colonial” look of this hotel is just charming, together with the garden full of different species of plants and trees. The hotel staf is also definitely both very professional and friendly. They have been able to arrange a snorkel diving tour for the 4 of us at 10:30 pm, for the following day. Two suggestions we could make;

– The room as well as bathroom are, by nature, quite small but towel hooks and  shelves could be welcome as it would help to make the place look wider (scattered towels here and there make the bathroom look even smaller)

– Some croissants or similar pastries available for breakfast could also be a plus for us , Europeans! :-)

We would certainly recommend the Lighthouse Court to friends planning a stay in Key West

We had a wonderful time at the Merlin Guesthouse. At first I was worried with the parking, but was able to park very easily on the side street. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We really appreciated the suggestion to go to Zachary Taylor State Park. That was the highlight of our trip. We spent our whole day there, eating lunch at the picnic tables, snorkeling, and enjoying the warm water. The cottage was very clean and the daily housekeeping was appreciated. We will definitely stay here again.
