Arrived Friday afternoon, check-in was seamless and fast. Very good recommendations from the staff for local dining and shopping all within a short walking distance from the hotel. Weather was perfect.

Room was delightful, cozy, quiet, and clean.

Wonderful Cuban Bistro opens early with the best morning Cafe Con Leche on the planet within a two minute walk from the hotel.

Sunset dinner at Latitudes was divine. It was wonderful to have the front staff call a taxi for us.

Certainly would recommend those wishing to spend time in Key West at the Key Lime Inn. Close to everything.

Thank you.

This is my second visit to this property and my third with the Historic Key West Inns hotel group. I love the location of the Chelsea House Hotel – close enough to Duval to walk, but not so close that you’re living it all the time. I visit Key West several time a year for work and have found the Historic Key West Inns to be well-kept, well-managed, well-staffed and well-informed.

The grounds are always neat, clean and beautiful in their landscaping; the staff is always personable, helpful and present. I wish I could remember the young woman name when I checked in (I do remember she was from CT) – not only was she personable and friendly – she immediately tried to determine how much (if any) information I needed about the area (restaurants, shopping, attractions etc.), warned me about parking in Old Town (look for those meters) and emphasized that there was always (during office house) someone to answer any questions. I asked about some of the local spas – she and the concierge were able to provide references/brochures and noted that the concierge could assist in booking appointments – such convenience!  I asked about local restaurants – had recommendations and coupons to offer. Check-in and Check-out were simple – even checking out at 7am I was greeted with a smile and an offer of assistance.

My room was absolutely beautiful.  A large space immediately behind the room on the street side so low noise and convenient to the pool area (breakfast as well!).  Well appointed with a comfortable bed, couch, multiple lighting sources and good storage – entirely too much space for one person but it was always spotlessly clean and welcoming– as I have found all of the related properties. Décor is nice with clean lines and similar colors throughout the properties.

Probably one of my favorite restaurants is The Café on Southard Street and I really enjoyed my visit to the Botanical Garden and Butterfly Conservancy.

One of my best friends (since kindergarten, 47 years, and now you know our ages) was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer last October. We wanted to do something special but didn’t know what. She lives in New York and I am in Naples Florida. I offered to fly her down here for a mini vacation. Our other girlfriend wanted to join. Well, we figured on a date and I went to work on planning the trip.

I had stayed at the Key Lime Inn in April of 2016 for my niece’s wedding. Remembering how nice that hotel was, I had no problem checking out your other properties. That is how I came across the Merlin Guest House and found a 2 bedroom cottage. I called in January and booked the cottage for our 3 night stay. I explained the circumstances with the woman I was speaking with, Maureen’s health and the fact she was given 6 months to live, just in case we wouldn’t be able to keep the reservations. And, of course, she explained that there would not be any issues if I needed to cancel.

Well, needless to say, we made the trip and it was everything we wanted and more. We arrived Wednesday afternoon, and were greeted by Linda and Jordan at the front desk. Upon entering “our” cottage, it was more than we ever could have expected. Beautifully appointed and oh so comfortable.

Linda was so helpful with our never ending list of questions and requests. More blankets, restaurants and the best beaches. What, if anything, can we give to Jordan? It was such a treat to have a vacation cat, too.

Maureen and Loraine didn’t want to go back north, opting to stay forever! (Something about becoming squatters.)

I thank you and all your staff, for making this trip so memorable, and letting old friends just have a great time.

I found this hotel via the internet. It was the best find I made. The hotel was located two short blocks from all the action on Duval St. Cute cottages, landscaping and beautiful pool. All associates were very friendly and professional, offering a genuine smile and acknowledgement each time one saw me. Morning breakfast by the pool  served fresh muffins, bagels, fruit, coffee along with other fresh offerings.

My room, a cozy cottage, had a very comfortable queen size bed, flat screen tv, closet, bathroom with a shower and a separate vanity.  My wife and I loved staying here and will definitely return on our next visit to Key West.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent one week stay.  We traveled with friends who had booked their room at a nearby luxury hotel.  We thought of staying there, but after seeing Cypress House Hotel on the website, we took a chance.  Boy, did we make the right move!

The other hotel was much more expensive and lacked the personal touches of the staff, the delicious breakfast (which was more than continental), the tasty food and drinks at happy hour and the wonderful covered patio by the pool of which we took frequent advantage.  Little details were not missed.  We had 2 days of rain and Cypress House had complimentary ponchos for their guests.

Melissa checked us in and was a superb guide to all the island had to offer.  Her suggestions never let us down and her friendly demeanor made us feel so comfortable and right at home.

Our room was spacious and clean and the mini fridge was a good addition.  We will definitely recommend the Cypress House Hotel to any friends and family visiting Key West.

The Lighthouse Court Hotel staff was courteous, helpful, and educated about all things Key West.  The rooms were clean and quiet while being right in the middle of Old Town.  Great pool and bar to take it easy.  Will be back.

Our family spent 2 nights in your Lighthouse Court Hotel just this past Easter holiday.  We were concerned the room would be too small for us (2 adults and 2 teenagers who are used to staying in a suite when we travel) but were pleasantly surprised when we walked into room 6C….the room was plenty big with 2 queen beds (one in the loft area), a sitting area, fridge and microwave, and large flat screen TV.  We knew we wouldn’t spend that much time in the room, but we still concerned about our space.  We enjoyed sitting just outside our room in the 2 chairs provided, reading our books and having a drink. The brick sidewalks, the tropical plants and trees, even the roosters running around, added the charm of the place.  Complimentary breakfast around the pool was an added bonus.

Parking was not an issue, even though the lot was a block away. It’s just nice knowing you have a place to park should you choose to or need to drive somewhere.  Although the hotel is on one of the main roads in Old Key West, you are secluded enough to not even notice.  Everything we did, we did on foot.  Almost everything is within walking distance.  Checking in and out was a breeze and we were pleased with the recommendations given to us on things to do and places to eat.

We enjoyed the Hemingway House right across the street, Zachary Taylor State Park, Mallory square for the sunsets, the cemetery, which is totally different than cemeteries in Pennsylvania, and our favorite, the Harry S. Truman Little White House.  On our next visit we plan to do some water activities and hopefully go to Dry Tortugas for a day.  We would absolutely recommend your hotel to family and friends!  We look forward to coming back!

The Lighthouse Court Hotel was a beautiful well kept hotel. Our stay was great but what made it perfect was the staff. Our desk attendant Kyrell was overly friendly and helpful. Everyone else including servers, the bar attendant and the housekeeping staff were courteous and friendly. We can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I have been coming to Key West almost every year for the last 14 years and only stay at the Key Lime Inn.  We love the setting and the ambiance of the place. It is far enough away to be a quiet area, yet close enough to get to Duval Street quickly and easily. We look forward to our next visit.

Loved my 2 nights stay at Merlin’s Guest House. The place is beautifully renovated, great taste and charming.
Very convenient and central, easy walking access all around the old city of Key West as well as a private parking to leave the car. The attention was very pleasant and professional.

I would have loved more variety for breakfast with different kinds of breads and jelly, a choice of natural juices or fruits, eggs, cheese and ham.

In my room the AC unit is just above the bed head…a little noisy at night to sleep!

Overall very happy with my stay in your place, has been a wonderful one.

Would love to come back any time! I really will recommend the Merlin Guest House.
