Having been a resident of Florida since 1959, it was time to visit Key West. My wife and I were looking forward to the trip as it was over my birthday. Our desire was to find a hotel centrally located in the old part of town, close to historical buildings that were within walking distance to where we stayed. The hotel needed to have a good reputation regarding cost, cleanliness, staff support and morale.

To our great pleasure, this hotel exceeded all expectations:

1.) Kudos to Alexander, who greeted us upon check-in as if we were the only guests. He was knowledgeable about all things hotel, as well as the town with respect to where places were and how best to get around (Bicycles or walking being the best way to go.). As it was my birthday and the hotel was not full yet, he gladly and quickly showed us a potential upgrade to the room that was booked. Note that either room was perfectly acceptable.

2.) The remainder of the staff, (Rose, Liz, and Marie to name a few) were also helpful and always ready to be helpful.

3.) The room was beautiful. Queen-size bed, new and comfortable. The rooms have been recently refurbished and are like-new Beautiful. Shower had instant on hot water, no waiting. The staff did an excellent job of maintaining it during the entire length of our stay (4 days).

4.) Breakfast was as advertised-fresh fruit, fresh pastries(bagels, croissants), cereal, hard boiled eggs, coffee, fresh orange juice. A great start to each day.

5.)We didn’t use the pool, but it was sparkling and large enough to accommodate those who wished to use it. We looked forward to the beach, which we found nearby at the Truman Annex.

6.)Everything we wished to see and do were within 20 minutes walking distance, starting with the Hemingway house directly across the street, and the Lighthouse Museum next door.

The hotel, its staff, and location could not have been more perfect.

Thank-you,

John and Judy

My wife and I picked your place upon recommendation from a friend. We were not disappointed, in fact it was a touch of paradise. From our time at registration to checkout we were treated royally. I had a friend that lived in Key West and they did everything to help me contact him. The room was very nice with a porch that looked out over dense tropical foliage. The breakfast was good and served outside by the pool. I would stay here again and again and again.

This was our family’s first visit to the Keys.  The Lighthouse Court is a Gorgeous Inn inside and out.  Well maintained and very picturesque. Staying here just added to the Keys experience. We were wowed by our bungalow. It was perfect, just beautiful. The breakfast by the pool was just as nice. The staff/ housekeeping was welcoming. We would definitely choose this Inn or any of the other Hotels  in your group on another trip to the Keys.  Thanks for the hospitality.

Missy

Our family rented four rooms at the Chelsea House.  I had asked for quiet rooms and they all faced the pool except one, which was on Truman St so a bit noisier but it was a gorgeous king room.  The others varied in comfort and size- the double had great beds, but a superior queen had only a good mattress.  Some rooms have quiet central air, some have noisier in-room air conditioners.  Linens and towels were excellent, rooms very clean and inviting, service wonderful, staff very responsive and friendly.  Breakfast crew was super and food was substantial.  Parking permit was provided but we mostly walked places or rode bikes.  Check in was a bit cumbersome, a different charge for each room, but orderly and methodical.  Check out was fine and the hotel allowed us a couple of extra hours past the usual 11:00.  Because the hotel is composed of more than one building and multiple floors, there is some walking involved and stairs for some rooms- not a problem for us.  The pool was very clean and inviting.

We had the best experience ever at the Albury Court Hotel. All the staff was very friendly and helpful in every way. When we return to the keys, we will stay with them again. I have been recommending the hotel to all we know.

Thank you and have a great day!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Key Lime Inn. Victoria at check-in was so nice and when she heard it was our anniversary, gave us a really nice room with a bottle of Proseco and sweet notes scattered around. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable, with a small but nice bath. Victoria recommended El Siboney for Cuban food and we really liked it. Check in and check out were easy and everyone around the grounds was friendly. Would definitely recommend the Key Lime Inn.

My husband and I stayed at the Key Lime Inn for two nights in early June. We checked in later in the evening and we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who provided us with a smooth check in, gave us great information about restaurants and attractions nearby, and provided us with coupons for various restaurants. We paid for a queen room and to our surprise, received a wonderful King room! The light had been turned on for us- another nice touch!  Our room was in the back of the property (quiet, no issues with noise) and we had a private patio with Adirondack chairs which we enjoyed with a drink after exploring Duval St.  We even had a visit from an iguana!  The room was very spacious, clean, well equipped and the bed was very comfortable and air conditioning which we controlled was a welcomed relief from the heat.   The property is lovely with a cute “Key West” flair. In addition to a nicely maintained pool (clean, comfortably warm temperature, only one other couple using pool)  there are several different areas on the property to sit and swing, relax in a hammock, or visit around a fire pit. So quaint! We enjoyed breakfast served by the pool; the freshly baked muffins and local ham and cheese croissants were delicious!  There were always staff people around to answer questions or ask us if we needed anything. They always had a smile! Location is perfect- close enough to all area attractions to walk. We parked our car and explored on foot for the two days.  We loved our stay at the Key Lime Inn and the rate we paid was less than what we had found at other comparable places. We will definitely stay here again!! Thanks so much for wonderful accommodations!!

We booked this hotel with two other couples and we were not disappointed at all! Although the rooms were a bit small, everything was in excellent condition. The staff was friendly and helpful! We especially liked the cottage style with very few rooms having adjoining walls. The location was very close to Duval Street, yet quiet and relaxing. We are already planning our next visit to Key West, and would definitely stay at Key Lime Inn again!
