We couldn’t have found a more perfect choice for our stay in Key West. When planning the trip, we liked several of their historic inns hotels, but Jennifer most helpfully steered us to the Merlin when we called to make reservations. The grounds are gorgeous and quiet, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Our king suite (Room 13) was spacious and clean, with a private deck overlooking the small swimming pool. We were one block from Duval Street. If we were ten years younger we could have walked everywhere we needed to go, but cheated a few times by grabbing a pedicab or taxi. The best food we had was just across the street at Deuce’s Off the Hook. We would definitely return to the Merlin Guest House (Deuce’s, too) if we get the chance to come back to Key West some day.

Great time, wish we could stay longer.  Staff was fantastic.  It feels as if you’re nestled in the trees but you’re still close to everything.  Looking forward to a return trip!

We absolutely loved the Lighthouse Court Hotel. The location is the best ! Far enough away from Duval but close enough! All the staff is very accommodating and always friendly! We loved our bartender at the Mojito Bar, Lila. She gave us lots of ideas of places to go and made the best frozen drinks!! The pool was great the room was so nice and clean! Continental breakfast great! We will definitely be back!

My wife and myself have stayed at many locations in Key West but none as nice as this. Starting with the staff that was very accommodating, it has a lot of charm with every room being different. We enjoyed hours at the pool and pool bar and cafe. We will be back for sure.

Excellent staff.  When we arrived we were greeted so warmly, it felt as though we were visiting dear friends. Our room was so quaint and perfectly designed and welcoming.  The coffee deserves a “shout out” as well.  Breakfast by the pool was a great way to start the day. When we return to visit it will be at our “Key West” home Albury Court Hotel… Thank you..

I did quite a bit of research on hotels before booking at the Lighthouse Court Hotel. I wanted a hotel that was walking distance to all things downtown, had updated rooms, and of course good reviews for cleanliness. I got all that and more with the Lighthouse Court Hotel.

The people who work at this hotel seem to not only like their job but love life. It started with the gentleman who checked us in and continued with every single person we came in contact with. They really went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

The grounds of the hotel were perfect. Rooms in several small buildings that form a private courtyard in the center with a pool, bar and area with tables where your continental breakfast is served. There is 15 minute parking on the hotel grounds to unload and then the guest parking is 2 blocks from the hotel and the rate is just $10 per day.

Key West was a perfect vacation spot. We had some great meals and what surprised me most about the food is the reasonable pricing. One place to check out is Pepe’s Cafe.

Looking forward to our next trip to Key West.

The Albury Court Hotel staff is definitely the best in Key West. They always make us feel welcome and appreciate our business.  Thank you for the champagne upon arrival and our anniversary.

I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Key West.

Stayed at Cypress House Hotel for 6 nights, from the minute we arrived we were treated great. The room was large with a new bathroom, also a large porch for sitting. Breakfast was very good with a new hot entree every morning along with a large continental style assortment. Cypress House is located one block from Duval and 2 blocks from the harbor area, close to everything. A great staff, facility is well maintained, we will definitely stay here again.

Only stayed for one night, but it was excellent.  Front desk staff were wonderful.  Unfortunately I forget the one gentleman’s name, but he was overly helpful and first showed us around the property and then escorted us to our room.

Had a Superior Queen Room and it was great.  Maybe for a longer stay it might be considered small, but for us it was perfect.  Opened out to a shared deck/patio. Couldn’t really use it due to some rain, but looked very inviting.

Didn’t have time to use the pool, but it appeared sufficient for a quick cool off.  Breakfast was perfect and could be enjoyed pool side.  All in all a great stay.  Parking is nearby and Duval St is only a few blocks away.  Very quiet part of Caroline St.  Will definitely stay here again when/if we return to Key West.

We have been staying at one of their Historic Key West Inn properties since 1998.  This is the first time at Cypress House Hotel and we WILL be back.  Our room was clean, comfortable and inviting. We had a great little porch which was comfortable as well. Very much enjoyed the breakfasts in the morning as well as the afternoon “Limings”.

The staff were very friendly and accomodating. When we arrived, it was VERY BUSY, however, the staff handled the crowd well and in no time we were settled into our room!

The location of Cypress House Hotel is hard to beat. So close to Duval, Mallory Square and the Waterfront, yet just far enough away to be quiet.

We will DEFINITELY be back!
