For Valentine’s Day I had decided to take my girlfriend to Key West for lunch and to watch a famous Mallory Square Sunset. After a great lunch at El Meson de Pepe, we watched a gorgeous sunset. I was only planning on staying the day then driving back to West Palm Beach, but the day was so incredible we just had to stay the nite. Everything was booked. That’s when we came across the Key Lime Inn.

Our experience at the hotel was just Amazing! The staff (Stephanie) was just extremely friendly and courteous. When we arrived at our room it was soo very… charming, charming, charming… and very clean and just the perfect ending to a perfect Valentine’s Day. We are soo looking forward to going back to Key West and staying at the Key Lime Inn again. I couldn’t of asked for a more Romantic stay.

Thank You again… You made our Great trip even Greater!!

On an impulse trip during one of the busiest weekends of the season, we stumbled upon this little gem! The room was clean and up to date and the staff was so very pleasant. We will be returning! As each property has a unique flair, we look forward to trying the other 5 as well!

We had a lovely visit. The weather was 73 and sunny, just perfect for us midwestern folks coming from 1 degree. We would have loved to use the pool, but a pool heated to 80 doesn’t work in 73 degrees. I guess you can’t control the weather. It would have been nice to have variety at breakfast, but there were several choices. We’d stay again for sure. Thanks,

We stayed 2 houses down from the main building of Cypress House Hotel. Our room was on the ground floor, back from the street, protected by a locked gate, opened by the guest’s key. The room was small and clean and the location was excellent. The staff was very friendly and check-in and check-out were efficiently handled. On the minus side, the bed was soft so we didn’t sleep that well. I would have liked a desk for my laptop but there really wasn’t room for one. I believe some of the rooms are bigger than ours was. Regarding local restaurants, we especially loved Alonzo’s Oyster bar; everything there, including the margaritas was excellent! I would recommend Cypress House to a friend if they make sure to get a bigger room than we did.

Our first stay at Merlin Guest House was tremendous! You can’t beat the location. The jetted, heated pool is quite lovely too! We had an issue with our reservation and Kenneth went above and beyond to help us straighten things out. Lodging was comfortable, clean and appealing. Breakfast poolside was a special treat as well. We will make this a regular rest stop!

Hotel was very easy to find.  Easy onsite parking. Location of hotel was easy walk to all sights to see! Hotel staff was wonderful. Our room was small and very clean. Breakfast served outdoors by the pool. I would definitely stay here again. No need for alarm clock, neighborhood rooster wakes you up in the morning!

We only had a couple of days to extend a mainland business trip for a quick retreat to Key West. It had been forever since either of us had been down – way back when we were traveling with our parents  and too young to really enjoy the area. I found the Chelsea House Hotel after searching online for a more historic place to stay, hoping for the best we were both amazed at how perfect it turned out.

The awesome staff helped us with everything, including getting us situated and recommending a couple great places to go relax after a long 2 hour wait on the overseas highway after an accident. The inn was amazing, our room was perfect, and the location couldn’t have been better with easy walking access to everything.

We will be staying MANY more times at the Chelsea House and all of their Historic Key West Inns hotels in the future!

My new wife and I stayed here as part of honeymoon journey.  It was great!  The historic architecture created a wonderful atmosphere that was consistent with “old town” Key West.  We were in the heart of “old town” within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to see.   Breakfasts were tasty and comfortable by the pool.  Staff was super friendly and helpful.  There was a complementary happy hour but we were always too busy to attend.  Rooms were light and airy, really making you “feel” the Key West experience.   We’ll definitely be back to relive our honeymoon experience!

Very small quaint hotel.  No complaints!  Walking distance to Duval Street. Quiet neighborhood.  Parking challenging and scarce but is the same all over.
