The hubby decided to surprise me with a nice weekend getaway for my birthday. The second we walked into the Lighthouse Court Hotel we were greeted by Laura. So welcoming and nice. She helped us find a few local places she thought we would enjoy for lunch/dinner. Lila at the bar was nothing short of amazing. We visited her 2-3 times during our stay and man, does she make a killer mojito. The atmosphere of the hotel is so relaxed and laid back I could stay there forever. Perfect distance to Duval but far enough for a quiet night in. Breakfast was nice, pool can be a bit bigger but it was nice as well. Rooms are nice and for a weekend getaway it worked for us. Wish our stay was longer. Making Lighthouse Court our go-to when we go down!

Thanks for a great birthday! 🙂

Both my husband and I were so impressed with the whole experience. Check in was a breeze, staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. There was a new employee that was “learning the ropes”, he was very welcoming and the person training him was so kind. Our room was extremely clean and beautiful. Loved the personal cottage feeling. We felt safe. The  continental breakfast was excellent. We also received a drink voucher for another of their hotels, they were also very kind and welcoming. I would recommend your hotels to my friends. The only downside, which I feel you have no control of, was the temperature of the pool water. It was extremely hot in Key West the days we were there, and the water felt like bath water when I just needed to cool down. Natural heating!

Thanks again for a great place to stay.

My husband and I stayed two nights during Lobsterfest in August. Checking in was easy and quick. Staff was friendly and informative. Our room was very clean and comfortable- and the bathroom was huge! The bedroom was on the small side but it didn’t matter because we didn’t spend much time there. At one point I needed an iron so I called the front desk. The iron and board were delivered to my room quickly and again, the staff was great. The pool is nice and relaxing and the cocktails were GREAT (try the mojito!) I suppose my least favorite part of staying here was that the continental breakfast was ok. However, the location, staff, cleanliness, scenery and relaxed vibe were perfect. We will definitely stay again!

I wanted to take a few moments to post my review. We wanted to plan a weekend away and we decided that we would drive down to the keys from Miami. So we started to look for hotel rooms and we came across the Chelsea House Hotel. I want to say we made a very good choice by booking this room. The whole experience was a very good one, from beginning to end. The room was very nice and clean. The staff was all so helpful and very nice. We will be coming back to the Chelsea House more often.

This was my first visit to Key West, on my own, and it was amazing! My childhood summers were spent in Key West at my grandparents house, which is now the Wicker Guesthouse. I truly felt I was back home at the Chelsea House Hotel. Barbara was wonderful, friendly, helpful and just a cheerful soul to interact with. The front office staff was also wonderful…I can’t recall her name…Lynela ??? I had blisters on my feet from all the walking I did in my Kinos (had to purchase them…great memories from childhood) and she provided bandages to help me walk again…what a relief! Also, Ray at night, helped me find my room key that I misplaced during my stroll at night to CVS to get some ice cream and water. :). My room key was found! It truly felt like a family and I would recommend a stay at Chelsea House to all my friends and colleagues.

I have been in the service arena all my career, and the Chelsea House has “nailed” it when it comes to service. Hard to do and especially in a town that is difficult to live in for service staff, due to the high housing expenses, etc. I applaud you and your team! I look forward to another stay at the Chelsea House Hotel…I would love to stay in the same room again, as the balcony overlooked St Mary’s, which is where I was baptized, almost 50 years ago!

Thank you for an unforgettable memory and stay!

Our vacation dates were August the 4th-7th. Before we even got to Key West we had a difficult time getting there thanks to delta with delays (thus the nightmare) so we expected to arrive in key west around 1am. Therefore I called Lighthouse Court Hotel and was greeted with nothing but a courteous and nice friendly voice over the phone from a gentleman named Jim with check in procedures for after hours. Jim even called my phone back to make sure I had all the information for after hours arrival which I thought was above the call of duty. That was the most refreshing call since the travel through delta to key west was going awful. However Delta managed to pull it together and we arrived in key west around 11pm being exhausted from what seemed like a full day of travel. We arrived at the hotel and again was met by another friendly staff member of the Lighthouse Court Hotel named Marie. Marie gave us the warmest welcome. She went above and beyond to get us settled in and that was the best feeling ever, she just did not know how much her act of kindness and friendly smile and welcoming arms turned our long day of travel into a smile.

We booked a Queen room, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We had a simple problem with the room so I decided to wait until the morning to address the problem due to the fact that we was extra tired from traveling starting at 4:30am and just getting to our destination at 11pm. Thinking that the staff here could not get any better I woke up the next morning to address the simple problem to have maid service/maintenance fix the simple issue. To my surprise I was greeted by another Great, friendly team member of Lighthouse Court, Danielle. Danielle greeted me with a smile and before I could even state exactly what was wrong, she began to fix the problem with a solution that did not even cross my mind, she changed our room immediately so that the staff could fix the simple problem in that room. She upgraded us to a king room, which this room was absolutely stunning. The bed was comfortable, the shower was beautiful and we had our own little porch. She offered us free discount drink coupons for the Mojito bar they have on their property, Lali the bartender was awesome.

Danielle checked on us almost every day to make sure our stay was going as planned, not only at the property but during our complete stay on the island overall. Danielle treated us as if we was family not just guests of the hotel. Being a retired military member I have traveled all over the world and stayed at different locations from the Four Seasons in Jordan to the Hilton in Key Largo and I have to say that the Lighthouse Court Hotel staff by far exceeded any expectations I have for hospitality. During our check out process we met Laura, again another excellent friendly staff member of Lighthouse Court, she went above and beyond as well. I asked what was the checkout procedures as we were checking out before the office would open at 7am because our flight was at 6:30am and she gave us instructions on how to check out, which was simple and fast and even called and reserved us a taxi cab to pick us up in front of the hotel the next morning to take us to the airport. Now some would expect that service but I did not expect that service because I did not ask for that service, she asked me and called and arranged the service for us.

The hotel has a heated pool on the property which felt great for our late evening swim and time away from the busy street of Duval. The location of the property is awesome, you’re right next to Duval street entertainment, nightlife, shopping and great food. The location is also a quick 5 minute walk from the most southern point and mallory square. You’re about 9mins from the airport. If you get a rental car the hotel also offers parking for a small fee a night which is reasonable but honestly because of the location I suggest you save your money on a rental car because you’re staying in a perfect location to walk to everything downtown Key West have to offer.

If you’re looking for 5-star hospitality then look no further, Lighthouse Court by far exceeds the Hotel experience with an exceptional staff, clean comfortable cozy room and great location. This experience was by far the best experience I have ever had with any hotel. My stay was not a completely perfect stay due to a minor issues but the staff went above and beyond and corrected the issue with a smile and pleasure which made my stay feel like the perfect stay. I would recommend this hotel hands down with no running competition from any other hotel on the island, not because of the property alone but because of the overall experience and the staff far exceeded any expectation I could and would have. The staff at Lighthouse Court was phenomenal starting with Jim, Marie and exceptional service from Danielle, who made us feel like family, ending with Laura who sent us home with a huge feeling and sense of appreciation for great hospitality. Lighthouse Court Hotel will definitely be our only pick when we visit Key West from here on out, thanks to staff.

But before you wonder, no this was not our first time to key west, this was actually our 3rd visit and 3rd different hotel stay but from here on out Lighthouse Court Hotel will be our only hotel choice for Key West.

Had stayed on Duval Street a number of times in the past and was looking for a change. The Key Lime Inn is a great quaint place off Duval and a little walk from the “main strip” of Duval. The room, amenities and staff were wonderful. A great value!!!
