I stayed with my friend for only one night and we were wishing it could have been longer. We really enjoyed our stay, the staff was very very welcoming and we felt super comfortable. The room was very clean and everything was great.

The only criticism I have would be the variety of choice at breakfast. It would be nice to have some cheese and ham to go with the bagels but this was really the only thing that I would say was not 100% up to expectations.

Thanks a lot to the Cypress House team!

Overall, this was a great hotel in a great location near the “action” of Key West.  My wife and 4-year old son loved the amenities, and with its proximity near Duval, both were grinning ear to ear.  Thank you very much.

The Key Lime Inn was a very comfortable, relaxing hotel to stay in Key West.  The rooms were spacious, with a back yard and great service.  Staff was very friendly and helpful.  We were so impressed, we decided we would stay there any time we came.  The walk to the wharf and Duval Street was short.  Parking is always an issue in Key West and this stay did the trick.  Highly recommended.

This was our third trip to Key West and our first stay at the Merlin Guesthouse. Rooms were clean and comfortable (we all had Economy Queen rooms along the front porch), staff was very friendly and accommodating, and location was perfect – close to everything, but back a block off Duval for peace and quiet when we needed it. Breakfast was fresh and offered plenty of options. Pool area was a great place to relax. We hit all our favorite spots during this trip – Sloppy Joe’s (Pete & Wayne!!), Irish Kevin’s, Fogarty’s (for amazing po’Boys!), Sunset Pier, Mallory Square (Love the Cat Man!), Hemmingway House, Southernmost Point, etc. My only complaint about the Guesthouse was that the shower was a little small (we’re all 6′ or taller). That said, we had a fantastic stay and will definitely stay here again when we return to Key West!

Location close to Duval. No need to drive! We always stay with the Historic Key West Inns hotels. Our first stay at the Lighthouse Court. Great service and a clean adorable room.

My husband and I go to Key West once a year and have always stayed in another hotel, outside of the downtown area.  This year we decided to change things up as we were tired of always having to catch a shuttle or take a taxi to and from the Duval and Southernmost areas.  We looked at several properties but settled on the Lighthouse Court.  We had friends who had stayed there a few years ago and had liked it.  So we booked and although we were afraid to ‘change’ our routine, we are so very happy we did!  The property itself is very nice, the accomdations  are lovely, clean nicely appointed, roomy.  We were lucky enough to have a large sunning area right outside of our room, which allowed us to have our very own space to relax in.  The location is amazing, within walking distance of all of the major attractions. Great restaurants, the beach, the seaport, etc.

The staff was wonderful!!! Lovely, polite, informative and very attentive to our needs.  Check in was simple and made very easy, and although our room was not ready when we arrived(we were earlier than check in), the front desk clerk helped stow our luggage until the room was ready,  which was actually only a few minutes later(didn’t even have a chance to enjoy a cocktail by the pool).  The only change I might recommend is that the rooms have a clock, I know everyone today uses their cell phones for everything, but it would have been nice to have an alarm clock in the room instead of using my cell phone.  Next suggestion would be to have one of the magnified mirrors in the bathroom, for some of us the distance of the mirror can be challenging.

Overall our stay at the Lighthouse Court will not be our last.  As our trip to KW is an annual one, we plan on staying there again, and of course recommending it to our friends.

My husband and I had a great stay at the Cypress House.  It felt like we were staying with a family in Key West.   The team was very informative about the attractions in Key West.  Our room was very clean and perfect with a small kitchen and our own porch outside our door.  It is centrally located where we could walk every where we wanted to go.  It is a private and small, adults only hotel, that gives a tropical feel! The continental breakfast and cocktail hour by the pool was delicious and plentiful. We would stay there again, when we visit Key West again.
