For the 6th consecutive year, I enjoyed a fabulous stay in Key West at the Key Lime Inn.  The rooms, or should I call them “bungalows” or event casitas were impeccably maintained, and the service staff of the best and highest order. Key Lime Inn, and the hotels in the Historic Key West Inns collection continues to be my go to place for each visit to Key West.

We made a quick trip to Key West with family members who were visiting. My husband and I had stayed in KW before (won’t say where, but it was next door and across from the church) and the experience was uncomfortable to put it as nicely as I can). We were so glad we chose Key Lime Inn this trip!!

We arrived a bit earlier than standard check-in, but Miss Michealle (Michelle) at the front desk greeted us warmly–like she was really glad we were there!! She stated our rooms were ready and upgraded our room booking!! Check-in was smooth and quick with all the information we needed. She was wonderful–professional without being stuffy or giving us the feeling we were actually making her do her job!! We stayed in two bungalows and I remember my sister-in-law’s first words were “These are so cute”. Our rooms were cool, clean, everything was in it’s place and had all we needed for our stay!! Our rooms were quiet and everything was in working order.

Breakfast in the morning was poolside with a lot to choose from for a Continental breakfast–cereals, muffins, local bagels, yogurt, etc. The perfect start for the day ahead. Checkout was slick and easy, parking was great (I have need for handicap access). I also have medication that is heat sensitive and Miss Michealle tucked it behind the desk for us while we were out experiencing KW. It was so appreciated. Seemingly small things like this just made our stay so much easier and convenient for us. The hotel’s location is terrific also!! Close enough, yet far enough off Duval Street that you don’t have the noise–lovely when your tired after a long hot day!!

We can’t wait to return to KW AND the Key Lime Inn!! Thank you for a great stay!!

The Lighthouse Court Hotel was perfect for our girls’ weekend get away!  The room was very comfortable and spacious. The hotel pillows were unbelievable (I wish I had asked what brand they were!)   The upstairs deck was perfect in the early mornings and late evenings.  The location of the hotel is great, one block from the action of Duval and nestled in with the Hemingway House and Lighthouse.

Laura, who works the front desk, is the most amazing woman!  I arrived well before check-in time, however Laura was happy to give me recommendations on places to see and restaurants to visit during our stay.  She even took the time to call me when my room was ready.  She remembered our names and made us feel at home.  I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and make sure to tell Laura HELLO!

We recently stayed at the Merlin Guest House, our second stay with the Historic Key West Inns hotels this year. The first trip was to their Chelsea House Hotel. Both stays were amazing but we preferred the location of Merlin Guest House. Linda was on site when we checked in and departed and she runs a tight ship. Towels were always at the pool, ice replenished by the tea and the pool was a perfect temp. We have already booked our next stay in December! We have been to Key West several times over the last few years and we will never stay anywhere BUT in a Historic Key West Inns property!

My friend and I went to Key West for a girls weekend. We enjoyed the hotel-it was very clean. Everyone in the reviews speak about a big white cat, but he was barely around-no issue at all. We were close to everything and were able to get home safely.  Being one block off duval makes it a great spot.  Good morning breakfast. All in all, I’d go back.

Very professional staff. Lynne at the front desk was very helpful making sure we knew of the best places to go for meals and to have the best stay. Would highly recommend this place to friends. The outside breakfast every morning was fantastic. All staff were very friend and helpful. Can’t wait to come back.

My husband and I stayed at the Chelsea House on 8-21-16. I am so glad we stayed here. The room was very clean and beautiful along with the property. The staff was wonderful! They made sure they answered all our questions and pointed out all the points of interest. They also told us about the history of the Chelsea House.

This trip was my first time in Key West and I can say for certain that I will stay at the Chelsea House Hotel again! We will definitely recommend the Chelsea House to all our family and friends!

Thank you for your hospitality! See you again soon!

Let me start off saying that Lighthouse Court Hotel, not to mention Key West, is our all time favorite place. This is our 3rd time in key west and I have chosen Lighthouse Court every time. Everyone was so nice when we checked in and the staff was so friendly. We love your location, it’s quiet and yet so close to everything key west has to offer. My husband and I had the best time on our recent trip (and all our trips there.) We love coming for the lobster festival. Our room was so very nice and we had such a great location. It’s also great that there is a continental breakfast in the morning if you didn’t want to go out to eat and having the mojito bar there is also Fun. We didn’t have to wait for our rooms everything was ready.  We checked in and unpacked and went for cocktails which were so good. Great selection of beer and drinks.

The only thing I have to say is that it ended too soon and then it was back to reality. The Historic Key West Inns hotels are the nicest places. I have a sister that stayed at their Key Lime Inn and she loved it and my daughter and her husband stayed at their Merlin Guest House and they loved it. They are quaint and beautiful and that’s what we love and if that’s what your looking for then the Historic Key West Inns hotels are for you. Every time we come back we will choose Lighthouse Court.  I definetly recommend Blue Heaven for breakfast and the six toe cat as well. We ate at so many places we never had a bad meal. We also highly recommend the Roof Top Cafe and the Cuban restaurant and of course sunset at Mallory square. We discovered the waterfront brewery who had awesome beers and even better appetizers.  The lobster fest was awesome. Lobster all day, how can you beat that!!

I could go on forever but overall it was a wonderful and much needed vacation. Thank you so much!!!

We would just like to say how wonderful your hotel is. First and foremost, when we arrived we were very stressed because our luggage was lost. We encountered Melissa who was extremely nice and ensured us that when our luggage arrived she would notify us immediately. Once our luggage arrived and we were able to relax, we had an awesome stay.

Our room was so quaint, and felt like we had our own private cottage, not like the big hotels where you can hear your neighbors. We were on our honeymoon and it was so romantic of a hotel. The location was also excellent. We would totally recommend your hotel to anyone visiting the Keys, and have already decided that our next time visiting that the Lighthouse Court would be our hotel of choice. Thank you very much to the staff for all the great service they provided.

After staying in two four star hotel properties making our way down to Key West, my husband and I wanted an equal Key West style property for our one night here. We chose the Key Lime Inn property for it’s charm and location. We were not disappointed!

The hotel was updated and clean and there was a lovely continental breakfast in the courtyard. Our only small complaint was the A/C in the room kicked on and off during the night and woke us up frequently. Not sure that anything can be done about this since it is a standalone unit, but thought it was worth mentioning. Thank you again. We will be back!
