Very comfortable and enjoyable stay! The room was modern and cozy! Had a lovely time at the pool and bar! Great customer service and parking as well! Great walking distance from Duval Street!  Will definitely be returning!

The property is beautiful, and first thing we noticed stepping into our room is a hand-painted coconut with our names and wedding date on it from Mary Simmons…what hotel does that!?! That was SO special to us we loved it (it’s already being displayed in our living room) We had our wedding party stay there as well and we loved how every room was different and unique. They were amazing to work with and could not have asked for a better place to stay. When we return to Key West we will, without a doubt, stay at Merlin Guesthouse and no where else! :)

We were on the second floor of the hotel for 4 nights (Friday night-Tuesday morning).   Our plane was actually a little late and the front desk called to check on us, which was nice (you don’t get that kind of personal attention at one of the chain hotels- I think her name was Robin. Very personable and gave us a lot of suggestions for dinner, drinks, etc).

Our room was very quiet overall, and was clean when we arrived. The front desk also called to have bikes delivered to the hotel for us. The continental breakfast was fine- plenty of bread, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, milk, coffee, OJ.  My boyfriend had some mojitos at the mojito bar downstairs and said they were good.  Overall it was a nice stay and even one of other guests mentioned they had stayed at 2 other places besides this one, and Lighthouse was their favorite.

It was our first time at Key West and we had a great time. Everybody at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfy just like home.

The location was ideal, you could walk around and see everything. I would highly recommend the Albury Court Hotel.

Thank you

My husband and spent one night at Cypress House but wish we had stayed more!

Everything about Cypress House was perfect.  The staff just to mention two were Dennis and Chris who were both friendly and more than accommodating and knowledgable of the area. The room was beautiful and very comfortable.  Breakfast and Liming time was excellent.  Enjoyed the pool and oasis created around it.

Would love to return anod will also recommend to friends.

Thanks for the warm hospitality!!

I want to thank everyone in your staff for being so attentive with every little thing in our stay in August. From our registration to our last day when we checked out, everyone helped with little things that makes the stay great. For instance, rooms were super clean everyday as the first day when we checked in. One of the things a like the most, the inn is located a few blocks from everything and therefore make it easy for everything.

I’m a Fort Lauderdale resident and have traveled many times to Key West usually staying in the big chain hotels.  We decided to do something different this time and stumbled upon Cypress House with a simple google search.  Called the reservations hotline and spoke to an agent named Raphael who was extremely helpful & all of his descriptions were very accurate. We arrived on friday afternoon and were greeted by a friendly employee who quickly did the paperwork and made us a fresh drink as it as Cypress House offers a “Liming Hour” from 4:30-5:30 everyday where complimentary drinks & Key West Conch inspired appetizers were served.  From there they personally gave us a tour of the beautiful ground & walked us to our room.

Our room had a great porch to sit and drink coffee on facing the street, but covered by much landscaping so it felt very private.  The room was completely redone inside with Key-West inspired theme & colors.  Very large room with a King bed that was very comfortable with large bathroom and hardwood floors. Cypress House itself is in a perfect location being 1-block from Duval on the North end near the port, pier, and shops/restaurants.  The pool had a great covered area with tables and the pool was surrounded by cabana beds with great exposure to the sun all decorated with beautiful landscaping and palm trees.  Overall we really enjoyed the boutique feel to the Cypress House and as mentioned the location is excellent. We highly recommend staying here and appreciated every aspect of our stay and enjoyed both nights we stayed.  It was a very busy holiday weekend and we were treated extremely well.  Hope to visit again very soon!

We stayed at Lighthouse Court in August 2014 and had a great time!  The staff was outstanding. They were helpful with booking tours, recommending places, and little things like an extra hand without asking! They seemed intuitive to your needs without hovering. The back deck and pool area was clean and maintained. Free continental breakfast each morning helped start the day of walking or biking and helped with the budget- if I could use one word to describe Key West…Expensive! But the Lighthouse Court was not expensive and was across from the Hemingway House. Ray the bartender was great! He and the staff deserve good tips, they work hard. Get his homemade mojito, it was one of the best drinks in Key West! I didn’t give this inn 5 stars due to two reasons: carpet some smell of ocean I suppose; needs tile instead. Needs small coffee maker in room. Those changes in the room would greatly be appreciated. We would stay here again.

We had an amazingly wonderful time at the Merlin during our stay in Key West.  The staff, especially Linda, went above and beyond satisfying all of our needs.  The spa/pool is amazing after a long hot day walking the length and breath of Duval Street.

We have traveled to the Keys numerous times over the years and this was undoubtedly the best place we have stayed. The room was neat, clean and spacious. The property is charming  and the location cannot be better.  The staff was more than accommodating and courteous, and the breakfast served each morning was wonderful. We thank them all for an awesome vacation and are already planning our next stay at the Chelsea House.
