We stayed at the Key Lime Inn for 4 nights in May and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Key West.  You are only a few blocks from Duval Street, but you would never know it because the hotel is quiet and peaceful.  While the rooms aren’t fancy, they are very comfortable and offer everything you need.  The staff is very friendly.  The free continental breakfast at the pool every morning is a great way to start your day before heading out to explore Key West.  While we took a few cabs to dinner to save time, we mainly walked from the hotel to everywhere — restaurants, bars, beaches, historic homes, etc.  Can’t recommend this place enough.

Our stay at the Cypress House from May 15-19 2016 for our 25th anniversary was one of the best we have had in Key West. We have been coming down for over ten years and staying at different places each year. This is our first at the Cypress House Hotel and we hope it will not be our last. From the staff as soon as we arrived till we left was as pleasant and easy as it can get. The housekeeping was excellent as well with the room being neat and cleaned everyday. The location is so close to everything you can walk or bicycle to everything. We rented a scooter for the week with scooter parking beside the building made it so easy. Once again thanks for the good time at the Cypress House, we can’t wait to get back there again.

This place is absolutely darling! Besides its perfect location directly across the street from the Hemingway House, it is charming and extremely comfortable. Even with just the standard queen size room, we had enough room, a spacious bathroom, comfy cozy bed, and the continental breakfast was a perfect way to start the day. The property is beautiful with luscious trees and brick walkways that reminds you that you are in a tropical wonderland. The staff was very attentive and gave great suggestions to restaurants and places for activities.

Last week my boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at the Lighthouse Court Hotel located across from the Hemingway House and adjacent to the Historic Lighthouse in Key West.  From the moment we drove up to the hotel, passing roosters, this hotel screamed quintessential Key West charm.  Check-in was a breeze and the rooms were nicely appointed on the ground floor and adjacent to the pool.  My only flaw with the room was the air conditioning, it was a little loud! However, this noise blocked out the noise coming from those hanging out at the pool in the evening and early morning.  I’m assuming these air conditioners need to work double-time to keep up the Key West humidity!  The cleaning staff was great too, we always returned to our room to a nice clean room each evening.

The daily breakfast by the pool was such a nice added bonus.  It was well stocked and clean with a continental type food each morning.  I was impressed how quickly coffee was restocked by the staff.

During our trip the front desk were all extremely helpful during our stay, helping us book a jet-ski tour and giving us general help and advice on what to see and do during our stay.  Even checking out was extremely easy and enjoyable due to the pleasant staff.

Since our return my boyfriend and I have been telling our friends and family how great our trip had been and have noted the hotel as one of the many reasons!

Thanks so much for making our trip that much more enjoyable!

  1. We enjoyed our stay so much! Our room was perfect. Absolutely beautiful!
  2. Erin followed up with me re: our arrival time. Since we were going to get there at midnight left a key for us in the lockbox. She went out of her way to make us feel so welcomed. I so appreciated her cheerful and accommodating attitude.
  3. During check out the young lady behind the desk next to Erin’s was very kind, polite and professional.
  4. The room service was impeccable.
  5. The free coffee and breakfast was an awesome bonus.
  6. I have already told several friends to go and check out the Chelsea House.

We can’t wait to come again as staying here made our Key West trip more enjoyable!

Thank you

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly professional staff and our rooms were ready early. They were clean and nicely decorated. Location was very convenient to the Ferry, Old Town and Duval street.

Perfect, well appointed and comfortable, what else could you ask for? On a busy street but once we closed the door we heard nothing. The breakfast (included) is all you’ll need to get your day started in the conch republic. We’ll be back.

The hotel is awesome and the room was much better than I anticipated. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was good. Will definitely stay again.

Our stay with Albury Court Hotel was comfortable and quiet. Our room was newly renovated and clean. My only issue is with parking. I understand that parking is at  premium in this area but it would be nice if the hotel could work out a deal with the parking garage so tickets could be purchased through them.
