We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lighthouse Court Hotel. The location is perfect. We were able to walk everywhere. I loved our little front porch. Our room was overlooking the street and we got to watch a wedding at the Hemingway home. We came down to book the venue for our son’s wedding so it worked out beautifully. The room was so cozy and clean. We will definitely be back.

This place was great as we had to stay longer and they were very nice to do this. I would stay again as I come to Key West twice a year.

A group of us rode down from Miami on motorcycles and stayed one night at the Merlin Guest House.  The property was pretty and the rooms were really nice and clean.  The staff was very friendly.  If traveling on motorcycles, you need to be aware that the parking lot has thick gravel and no pavement.  So, drive extra careful and you might want to bring a kickstand plate.

This was our 2nd stay at Chelsea House. The 1st time I was a little nervous because all I knew was what I saw online. But from beginning to end it was an awesome experience. Upon check in you are greeted by the friendliest people who have mountains of info on Key West. We needed this being our first time there. Our room was gorgeous with our own private deck with table, chairs and lounge chairs overlooking the  pool. On our 2nd visit there was no hesitation on booking Chelsea House. Great people, great accommodations and great location within walking distance to all the attractions. Don’t hesitate, stay here!!

Great location tucked away near town.  Clean rooms, quiet, private, nicely landscaped, refreshing pool, well stocked breakfast bar, and friendly & helpful staff.  If you prefer a hot breakfast walk across the street to The Hook.

Last week, me, my husband, and my cousin and her husband came and stayed at the Lighthouse Court Hotel.  This is our third stay, for my husband and I, and we couldn’t enjoy it more.  We love the little cottage where we stayed, and it is really special, being right across the street from the Hemingway House. We love the charm of Key West and the laid back atmosphere.  The enclosed compound just makes you feel relaxed and private, out of the hubbub of other tourists milling about Key West. All of the staff were pleasant and helpful, and the grounds are beautifully kept.  Keep up the good work!  We will definitely be back to visit again.

We visited Key West for the first time in May.  We chose this hotel based off of proximity to Duval St.  We were thrilled when we arrived and found that the location, accommodations and the staff exceeded our expectations!  Our room was inviting, clean and very comfortable.  We were within walking distance to pretty much everything so we would highly recommend this hotel to others!  Thank you for everything, we will be back!

The hotel was a beautiful surprise.  We didn’t know what to expect when we made the reservation, but the pictures on the web don’t do it justice. The bungalow and the pool area were perfect.  The continental breakfast in the morning was superb.  My dad and sister walked to Mallory Square and both said the walk was beautiful.  Thank you for a great weekend!

We enjoyed our trip to Key West and the Key Lime Inn.  Having never been to Key West we really didn’t know what to expect, and weren’t disappointed.  When we checked into the Key Lime Inn, we were greeted, got some of our questions answered on where to start our visit, and directed to our room.  The air conditioning unit servicing the room was rather loud (although we didn’t complain as there really wasn’t anything that could be done to mask the sound).  The room was spacious and well appointed.  We had a room with a shared deck and met a nice couple from Chicago later in our stay.

There were two things that disappointed us about the Key Lime Inn (in addition to the noisy AC unit), one was the quality of the continental breakfast.  For the price that we paid for our stay, we thought that something better could be done.  Bagels, toast, cold cereal, and hard boiled eggs don’t cut it in our book.  We’ve traveled a lot and had much better (we ended up going out to breakfast several days of our visit).  The second thing was having to pay for parking (we did know going in we’d have to pay).  Again, for the price paid for the room, parking could be thrown in.

As for favorite restaurants, Firefly Key West was great, as was Santiago’s Bistro.  Both were excellent, with great service and great food.

Would we come back the Key Lime Inn (or one of the sister properties) or recommend it/them to a friend?  Probably, yes.  There are just a few things we think could be improved upon, to make the guests stay just a bit more pleasant (not that it was all that bad to start).  Thanks for a great extended weekend!

Our stay was very wonderful. All the staff we encountered were pleasant. Check in was very quick. The room was VERY nice! It was very spacious, obviously recently updated and very immaculate. The grounds were very clean and the pool areas were very quaint.  The breakfast provided was very sufficient and everything was fresh and the area was clean. I’ve stayed at several properties in Key West over the years but this was my favorite. We live in Florida and plan on returning several times a year, and we will definitely return here. We will even request our same room, #40. Thank you for a great time!
