Merlin Guesthouse is very well located in old Key West; close to everything but quiet enough to have some rest in the beautiful garden. Our room was large and very well appointed, with a large balcony, large bathroom (former historic bedroom?) and view over the garden and whirlpool. The garden serves as very good setting for the breakfast (very good)/open air lounge area and the whirlpool. The pool itself is a big attraction; cool, refreshing and relaxing. Also a great place to socialize. Staff was very helpful and competent. All in all, a very good place to stay.

We were totally pleased with every aspect of our 4 night stay. The check in process was very friendly with helpful hints for locations of events, bike rentals and restaurants. The room was beautiful , worthy of a photo in a magazine! The location of the hotel was perfect. We parked our car on site and never returned to it until we checked out. Everything was within walking distance. We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary and plan on returning every year to this hidden gem!

We truly enjoyed our stay your inn. The room was an eye catcher, enjoyed it and won’t forget it due to that same week we got married on the beach while we stayed at the island’s top notch inn!  For us great location and great staff, we plan to return again and enjoy your inn once again.

We enjoyed our brief stay.  The room was clean, neat, and well-appointed.  The front desk staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous.  We would not hesitate to start there during our next visit to Key West!

We had a wonderful stay at the Cypress House. The buildings and grounds were exactly what we were hoping for, a perfect balance between historic character and modern amenities.  The staff were all extremely helpful and very nice.  The pool area was great for cooling off at the end of the day.  And the location was exactly what we were looking for – close to everything but far enough from Duval to be quiet and peaceful.

Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Our stay was perfect! The room was spotless and comfy.  It felt like staying as a guest in someone’s home.  The inn is a couple blocks from Duval Street and walking distance to anything and everything you could need in Key West. I highly recommend, it is a great way to experience Key West!

My husband and I spent two wonderful nights at the Key Lime Inn. We were in Key West to travel to Dry Tortugas National Park. At check in, the two receptionists were delightful, explaining everything and giving us advice on how best to get to the ferry station. Our room was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the poolside breakfast one morning. The coffee was delicious and we enjoyed fruit, cereal and pastries. The grounds were wonderfully kept and landscaped. We especially appreciated the free wifi and parking. As we reluctantly checked out the receptionists amusingly offered to make hurricane sounds if we wanted to call home in order to stay a bit longer!

We recently stayed at the Key Lime Inn and found it to be much nicer than we expected. We were welcomed by a delightful young lady who had our room immediately available. The king suite was generous in size, immaculate, cool and inviting. Key Lime is just a short walk to Duval Street and the Seaport area where we were able to catch Michael McCloud’s afternoon set at Schooners Wharf. This is a must see for anyone visiting KW. The inn has a very nice pool area and served a good continental breakfast which was more than enough for us to start our day. Everyone at the Inn is friendly and wants to make your stay enjoyable. I’m looking forward to our next visit!

My husband and I have stayed here multiple times over the past several years. We have tried the mainstream hotels as well as more expensive hotels right on Duval Street. This one has been the best experience so far. Great service, beautifully updated rooms, and right in the heart of all the action.
