Our room had everything we needed for a long weekend stay.  The location was perfect for walking into town and enjoying what Key West had to offer.  The continental breakfast was nice and the pool area was comfortable and inviting. We will return.

From the moment we booked the room we made a call and advised the front desk we would be doing a late check in around 10 PM. We received a comforting and assuring email in response regarding our room and what the steps would be since the office closed at 10 PM. Since the moment we walked in we were sure we were in for a real treat. The hotel is beautiful and so peaceful! We originally booked our room from Friday 5/22-Sunday 5/24. On Saturday we just couldn’t resist and decided we wanted to book an extra night. We stepped into the office and spoke to Linda who was of great help from the get-go! She managed to get us a bigger room with a king size bed for the same rate we paid the 2 previous nights which was amazing! We loved coming out by the pool for breakfast every morning and enjoying the delicious food and breeze. During the day we also loved the fact that we had pool towels available and tea to drink as we liked. On Sunday we asked Kenneth to turn down the pool temperature and he was also of great help. All staff we came across were extremely friendly and caring. All made sure our needs were met. Kenneth also guided us as to where we could go for dinner. I would definitely recommend the hotel to all my friends and family. We can’t wait to go back and really hope we can win!

The 4 day stay at Cypress House was very enjoyable.  The room and guest houses were lovely, clean and quiet.  The staff were very friendly and helpful and the complimentary breakfasts were always fresh and bountiful.  We enjoyed ourselves very much and would stay at Cypress House Hotel in the future.

My husband & I stayed at the Cypress House in May of 2015 and it was such a treat.  The staff was wonderful, the location was perfect, and we made a few friends while we were there too!  I requested the pool room after reading another review & we were so happy with it.  For most of the time, the pool was unoccupied so it felt as if it were reserved just for us.  We will definitely be staying again!

We stayed at the Cypress House from May 17 through May 20. All the employees were very friendly and knowledgeable. The room was large and clean, with a very comfortable bed and great air conditioner that made just the right amount of noise. Check-in and out were easy, and I would strongly recommend the hotel.  We really enjoyed the Sunset Pier for the view, and the Schooner Wharf Bar and Island Dog’s Bar for people watching.

My husband and I stayed at Merlin Guesthouse for two nights in May 2015 and we were not disappointed at all! Our room was super cute, just like the photo gallery showed, and it was CLEAN! Breakfast was available by the pool in the morning and flavored tea in the afternoon. And the pool was great as well, we spent one afternoon laying by the pool, it was so quiet and relaxing. Duval is literally a block over, so it was easy to walk over to find things to do and places to eat. Also I would like to recommend: Havana on Duval for breakfast, amazing breakfast potatoes and French toast, and you can’t beat Cuban coffee. AND Conch Republic for their fish sandwich and mojitos. Love Key West!!!!! And we will definitely stay at Merlin Guesthouse again!

What a great place to stay for our first visit to Key West. The staff was wonderful and each took time to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.  Parking was not an issue and with such a great location we were able to walk everywhere. We will be staying at the Merlin Guesthouse again the next time we visit.

Our stay at the Chelsea House was most enjoyable. The staff was courteous and friendly. Their concern for our comfort began before we even arrived. We had a delayed flight that pushed back our schedule but Desiree was kind enough to keep check on our progress as we traveled and be accommodating when we finally reached our destination. The grounds were very relaxing and pleasant and the room was clean and comfortable. This was an ideal location to spend our getaway. Hats off to the staff, we look forward to returning.

The room was perfect, comforting and inviting.  We stayed in cottage 16 for 2 nights.  Upon arrival everyone was really friendly, even gave us coupons for free key lime pie and suggestions on some amazing restaurants in town.  I will for sure be back to stay again.  The only negative thing was for breakfast their was not enough ham and cheese sandwiches… so we had muffins and juice.  Other than that it was great and I would highly recommend staying here!

We stayed 5 nights at the Cypress House and it was wonderful! The room was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. (I won’t say the room number because I want to request it next time I visit Key West). Melissa and Chris were welcoming and helpful. The morning breakfast and afternoon cocktail hours were a great touch. The Cypress House is perfectly located….close enough to Duval for a five minute walk, but far enough away from the noise and craziness. Overall we loved the Cypress House and will definitely return!
