We were very comfortable and particularly enjoyed the patio and pool. Could have used a ceiling fan in our room.

Absolutely a Great Place and Location — we were within walking distance of everything we needed — bicycles allowed us to tour the rest of the island!  Staff was knowledgeable and very friendly — always a smile with the service and request!  We are already planning a trip back!  BTW — the breakfast and Liming hour were perfect for us to start and end our days!

Merlin Guest House was a perfect place to stay for our visit to Key West! Our room was very clean and nice, everyone was friendly.
Our highlight was the pool and breakfast area, it was like an oasis! We love being just one block from Duval Street and had a great time.
We would recommend everyone this place!!!

The service from the front desk to the housekeeping staff was excellent. The proximity to all the local attractions and the walking distance to them made this a very convenient and pleasant place to stay. I would recommend the Cypress House Hotel and its charm to anyone visiting Key West. From breakfast to happy hour it’s a memorable time. Would visit Key West again in a heartbeat.

Staff was friendly and very helpful.

Check in was fast and easy.

Room was very clean but a little small for the 2  of us, however we only stayed the one night so it was fine.

Loved the staff and location. It was super close to Duval Street and within a 15 minute walk to Ernest Hemingway House. Unfortunately, our tub did not drain properly and got clogged with water that stayed throughout the night and made the room humid. I let the staff know and they were very apologetic and had it serviced quickly. The breakfast is typical continental breakfast with the addition of biscuits and gravy! Definitely a nice touch. It is by the pool which is a great way to start your day. The pool is nice especially at night and they have noodles for your convenience. Would definitely stay again.

It was my husband’s 60th Birthday and they kindly sent champagne to the room.   We had a great time and is a perfect place to stay.

The hotel is centrally located to most points of interest. We walked and biked everywhere. The rooms were nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. What stood out the most was the pleasant staff. Upon check in to check out everyone we interacted with was engaging and enthusiastic, a genuine pleasure to speak with!

What a fabulous little place!  We usually stay at a larger hotel and on this visit, we decided to try something different.  Loved it! We were close to everything.  Everything was clean and so charming!  Staff was wonderful!  We will definitely be back again!

In early October 2016, my wife and I had a really pleasant 4 night stay in a King room. Our room was comfortable and had a nice spacious shower. The air conditioner kept the room very cool and was quiet enough to allow for a restful sleep. A nice continental breakfast was provided by the pool. It included cereal, juice, oranges, bananas, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, bakery items, coffee and tea. The hotel staff was very friendly, welcoming and quite helpful. Lyenna and Brandon (front desk) were especially helpful with great tips on fun things to see and do in Key West, and providing discount coupons. The housekeepers & breakfast staff were pleasant and greeted you with a smile.

We highly recommend staying here. It is a great location in “Old Town” Key West, and just a short walk to Duval Street. We would definitely stay at the Chelsea House Hotel again. It truly enhanced our Key West experience.
