We have spent only one day at the hotel but we enjoyed immensely. Hotel was very clean, updated and staff was super nice and welcoming. They gave us information on events, things to see and discount coupons for the train.

In the morning, breakfast was served next to the pool and consisted of boiled eggs, local bagels, muffins, cream cheese, milk, cereal, fruits, juices and coffee.

Highly recommended.

We stay here every visit!

Easy walk to all the fun and nice and quiet when you want to finally sleep. Historic charm and very helpful staff always make this a great spot!

What can I say about the Lighthouse Court Hotel that has not already been said? The place is great. Our room was small and clean. (What more do u need?)The staff was outstanding and I could not have picked a better place for our stay in Key West. I would definitely stay here again. If you are surfing the web as I was, looking for a hotel in old town near everything, look no no further. This place is old school in a good way. From the poolside mojito’s to the continental breakfast outside, we have no complaints.

We spent 4 days and 3 nights at Merlin Guest House.  It could not have been better.  The staff were helpful and friendly.  The room was spacious and extremely clean.  The location was a block from Duval.  We could not have asked for more.

The location is prime and quiet. A little haven set away from Duval and any loudness. Duval is certainly in walking distance though as we frequented Mallory square many times and walked all the way.
We stayed as a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 teens. We were in J1. I recommend this room because it is a suite with 2 queen beds, a fridge, sink and a bathroom with a shower head on both ends–could fit 3 people in the shower if needed! This cottage was set next to the pool but it was not loud at all, it had it’s own patio table and chairs and a gate that closed you off with some privacy.

The main desk was very helpful showing where everything was at the hotel (Hubert). They recommended where to go . They offered to call the bike place to drop off bikes if we wanted to rent some. The southernmost point buoy is VERY close to walk to. The Hemingway House is across the street, not to mention a cute bevy of cats that roam the walls and peek through the gates. The 6 toed cat café is catty-cornered from the hotel (great breakfast).
The hotel has many cabanas or small houses-some with porches. It is clean and organized. It is located next to the Lighthouse Museum on the island.
The pool bar had good frozen drinks. The pool is ample, there were never too many people in it. It has a max of 10. A lot of times we were the only ones there. They have complimentary sunscreen and towels at the pool.

We had leftovers from dinner and were able to heat up and eat as a snack the next day thanks to the hotel lending us plates and forks.
Unfotunatley we had to leave! But when we did, they arranged to keep our luggage until our flight (Jim-also very helpful). We were still able to use the pool if we wanted to, but we ended up walking to the oldest house and saw the small museum.
We did take a taxi back to the hotel sometimes, as we were exhausted from walking everywhere (like the dry tortugas trip), but it was great. From the airport it is $9 a person, in town it was $3.50 a person.
I would highly recommend this hotel. The only issue which it was miniscule would be the air conditioning noise, but I fell asleep so fast after my days of full activities.
We would come back here! This is the location! Friendly, Clean and Great LOCATION!

Dennis was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Restaurant La Trattoria offered service that rivaled many Michelin-rated restaurants. At least four people attended our table without being intrusive. Extraordinary!

Cypress House Hotel, all personnel were pleasant and accommodating. The only suggestion is to offer a second hot breakfast entree.
