Thanks for such a wonderful stay in Key West.  The staff was so friendly and accommodating.  We will definitely stay here again, loved the location. We were able to park the car a walk everywhere.  The breakfast was great, the room was spacious and clean, the pool was refreshing.

My wife and I traveled with a large group from 11/1 – 11/4.  We loved the boutique feel of the property and felt it resembled the essence of Key West.  The courtyard was the perfect gathering place to meet up with friends.

Although our room was small, it was very clean and well appointed.  The maid service was timely and of good quality.  The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions.  The same can be said of the bartenders at the Mojito bar.

The group  rented bikes for (2) days and were able to tour the island with ease.  The front desk suggested A&M Rentals.  It was close and reasonable priced.

One suggestion is to have some type of food option available by the pool.  Another suggestions is to be able to purchase something as simple as bottled water before and after the pool bar closes – need to stay hydrated due to the combination of heat and bar hoping!

Since returning home, I have said all positive things to family and friends about our stay. I would stay here again and recommend the hotel to others as well.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Merlin Guest House located in the heart of Key West, just a walking distance away from all the excitement and entertainment of Duval St.  The house was immaculate. It had character and charm of old Key West.  I would highly recommend this place to family friends as I already have.

Stayed at the Merlin for Meeting of the Minds, Nov 3-Nov 9 , 2015.  Great room/suite–however, would recommend that the middle area maybe be used as a formal kitchenette.  The dressing area was nice, but seemed to be wasted space.  Staff all very helpful and nice. Arranged bike rentals for us.  Good breakfasts, and the afternoon iced tea and reading materials was a nice touch.  Loved Jordan del Gato, the resident cat.  Would definitely recommend and stay again.  Also recommend trying the restaurant just across the street–very small, but great service and food.

We had the most wonderful stay at Cypress House Hotel in Key West Fl. This is our second stay and each time, we recommended to everyone we knew. Our first was New Years 2014 and this year for the October Fantasy Fest. Dennis and Melissa were great and made sure that we had everything that we needed. It was very clean and the breakfast and evening refreshments were fantastic! It was a perfect location to walk to anywhere that we needed to go. Our favorite place to go was Sloppy Joes, Hard Rock Cafe’ and Conch Republic Restaurant and all was a short walking distance! We will be back as soon as we can!

Thank you, Kay

Couldn’t ask for a better location. Close to Duval but quiet. Close to marina district which has some very good restaurants.
It’s not a luxury hotel but the rooms are clean, pool is nice, great breakfasts and the staff is very friendly. If you like something small and quiet this is definitely the place to stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay November 5&6!  Arrived via the ferry boat to Chelsea House around noon – our rooms were ready and hotel staff were excellent!  Check in went smoothly and concierge was available to assist in choosing dining options.

Beds were very comfortable as well as room temperature.

This was my second Historic Key West Inns hotel stay, first at Lighthouse Court.  Will continue to choose one again.

As always, the staff has exceeded my expectations and surprised me in ways unimaginable.

On a recent stay with my nine year old daughter we were greeted like an old friend and even given an unexpected discount for a previous stay. The rooms are always a welcome surprise of quaint old Key West architecture, with comfort and custom carpentry design. Incredibly clean and comforting, we felt right at home without the ebee-jeebees of a typical hotel stay. (I travel a lot on business) The cleaning lady went all out to see that my daughter and I had everything we needed as well as tips and tricks on getting the most out of the island, as did the bartender and the lady preparing the gorgeous setting of breakfast by the pool.

To top off this recent stay, my daughter, Isabella, looked under the door mat to reveal a great cherry topping to our stay. Her name was displayed under the fdoor mat. Artfully designed into the morter with tile chips! Coincidence or Magic?
