My wife and I visited over the Thanksgiving weekend and had a great time! We already loved the small, private feel of the guesthouse, but the recent updates to the room made everything even nicer! The location is especially good, with Duval only steps away, while maintaining the quiet that brings true relaxation. We got engaged at Merlin Guesthouse in July of 2014 and plan to come back as often as possible. Thank you for all you do!

We came down here for one night, which admittedly I regret as I wish we would have spent our entire vacation in Key West at Lighthouse Court ! The location couldn’t have been any better. The grounds of the hotel were beautiful. And the key lime mojitos- I didn’t know such a delightful libation existed. While I can’t attest for their other properties, I would say do yourself a favor and stay at Lighthouse Court Hotel! I can’t wait to come back to Key West- and when I do, I WILL be back to Lighthouse Court!

We have stayed at several properties on Key West and find The Albury Court to be one of the best locations of all. You are within walking distance to the majority of the Key West attractions but far enough away to assure a quiet, restful night’s sleep. If you drive in you might be lucky and find a parking spot on the street right by the hotel. Once parked you can walk to explore Key West. If you arrive via the Key West Shuttle the hotel is only a few blocks from the dock. The staff is very courteous and eager to help with dining suggestions and points of interest. The rooms are nicely decorated and very accommodating. The continental breakfast has a good variety of choices so there is really no need to look elsewhere for breakfast. They feature free Wi-Fi, adequate channel selection on the TV, and phones in the room. We’ve stayed here before and will definitely stay here again on our next Key West visit.

We booked this hotel because we liked the name, free parking, breakfast and location. After arriving we could add more to the list. The staff was very friendly the room was small but all we needed as we spent most of out time out on Duval and biking the streets. The hotel had bike rakes and was right in the middle of everything. CVS down the street, great late night cuban food down the street. When we wanted to stay another day, the staff was able to extend our stay and let us stay in the same room. We would love to come back and stay here or even at one of their other Historic Key West Inns hotels.

We had the best trip to Key West and this was because of Ray who helped me book a room for our 25th wedding anniversary.  The rooms were going fast so I called and he answered right away and took care of everything.  The day we arrived our plane was 2 hours late so I called to let them know we would be arriving late and Ray answered again and remember who we were and said he had our room ready for us, not to worry.  We when finally arrived there was a bottle of Champagne waiting for us with cards placed throughout the room wishing us a happy anniversary!  We were very hungry and did not know where to go and Devon at the front desk suggested the 915 restaurant  which was perfect. She took care of us the minute we arrived with parking and getting to our room. The Key Lime Inn was perfect and everyone was very nice. The location was within walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. We would definitely stay there again!

My husband and I visit Key West often, but this was our first time to stay at the Lighthouse Court Hotel – what an absolute treat!  I also travel extensively for business (on the road about 50% or more each year), so I am a tough customer when it comes to lodging.

The hotel is a collection of small buildings all connected by lush gardens and pathways – really gives you the tropical island feel!  We had a one bedroom suite which had a small kitchenette, dining area, living room, bedroom and bath.  The décor was light and airy – beautiful wood blinds on all the windows, high end finishes in the room (granite, hardwood floors, leather couch) and our unit had a nice private deck with immediate access to the pool, onsite bar and the breakfast area.

A continental breakfast was included each morning – the staff was quick to replenish items and kept the fresh, hot coffee coming!

Location was perfect – we were close enough to the action, but far enough away not to be bothered by the noisy crowds.  We were able to walk to everything.  In fact, the Hemingway House is directly across the street from the Hotel!  There were lots of great local restaurants nearby – like the Blue Heaven, one of our favorites!

There was even off-street parking just for Hotel guests – so we never had to worry about our car.

We will definitely be back to Key West and look forward to staying at one of their Historic Key West Inns hotels.

I’ve been staying at the Merlin for over 25 years, for a reason: It’s the perfect balance between comfort and value; good amenities at a reasonable price. I don’t care about HBO in the room (or even a phone); that’s not why I’m in Key West or any other vacation spot! Merlin has all the things you could want (and if not, the staff will happily find them.). I visit 3-4 times a year (I live in Florida) and almost every time they have improved or added something for guests. Merlin and Historic KW Inns never rest on their laurels. They evolve and improve. What doesn’t change: personal service, friendly atmosphere, and a great location equidistant from anything on the island. Oh, and the friendly house cat, Jordan del Gato.(He’s even on Facebook, and counts over 300 guests as fans!)

My husband and I wanted a short getaway with our crazy schedules this year just to relax and spend time together. We have been to Key West before but this time chose a Bed and Breakfast- The Cypress House. What a great choice! The entire staff were friendly, accommodating and very helpful . The room was very clean (which is a big thing for me) and the breakfasts were awesome. Location was perfect, close to everything.  Would recommend to friends and family. We have been coming to the Keys every year for the past 4 years and I know I will be staying there again on our next trip down (only a longer stay).

I stayed at the Chelsea House over Thanksgiving weekend 2014. The location was perfect. Very close to Duval Street, restaurants and attractions. The room was clean and comfortable. I had my mini schnauzer with me and they were able to accommodate my little companion. Great place, great location, friendly staff!
