I completely enjoyed my stay at Albury Court Hotel!  Having a room directly off the courtyard created such a peaceful, relaxing environment for me.  It was so easy to step outside my room with a glass of wine and a good book to enjoy reading in the evening by the pool. The room itself had everything I needed, from a comfortable bed to the mini-fridge.  Directions to the mini-mart were right there in the room and Bien just down the road was a great find for dinner on my first night!

One of the desk staff (and I’m sorry I missed her name) helped me get a cab Friday evening around 5-6pm .  She was technically off of work but had noticed me standing across the street waiting for the cab I called.  She stopped on her way home and helped me flag someone down.  She didn’t have to do that, but I greatly appreciated it!  I told my husband I knew right where we are staying on our next trip to Key West.

We arrived off of the Ft. Myers Key West Express and were pleasantly surprised that our room was ready at 1 pm. The room was inviting, cool, and clean. Decorating was contemporary. After a long day of being out, the room was quiet. Staff was very helpful, friendly, and willing to help in whatever way was needed. Breakfast was more than ample and staff again helped out and kept the area clean and inviting. Pool area gravel was the only drawback as you entered and exited the pool or moved around at breakfast. I would definitely consider a stay again.

Thank you , Terry Schubert

We chose the Lighthouse Court Hotel from the list recommended by our wedding party and after our stay, we felt that we made the best decision.

Our room facing the street, with its terrace and chairs, felt that we were in our own little cottage. The room was filled with light and airy. From the reception staff to those at the Mojito Bar, all the personnel was friendly and attentive to our needs. But the highlight was that we were walking distance to all the restaurants and sights, yet in the calm of the hotel, one would never know how close we were to all the activities. It was a pleasure staying at the hotel and will definitely return.

We will definitely return to Key Lime Inn. Love the quaintness of the grounds & buildings. Our room was spacious and beautifully updated. Enjoyed having the outside sitting area. Check in/out was quick and easy. Staff was courteous and full of suggestions for activities to do while in a Key West.

We would definitely recommend Key Lime Inn to anyone going to Key West! Thank you for a most enjoyable stay!

After 12 years of not being too enthusiastic about returning to Key West, the stay at the Lighthouse Court Hotel now has me thinking about retiring there.

We had 3 and a half day of business meetings at the hotel and they could not have been more productive. The suite E7 where he held the meetings was great for informal space so that people do not feel trapped in a meeting room. The ladies at the bar were always gracious and helpful with directions and the staff at the front desk was very pleasant and accommodating with check in-out times; the process was just so very simple.

The rooms are spacious, very clean and the scent in them is that of a top of the line spa. The location is ideal and I would not only recommend it, but will hope to come back to the very same hotel. The hotel is very close to Virgilio’s and Mangos which are also great spots which we all enjoyed. Thank you all !!!!

We booked online and loved the property once there. Scott was helpful getting us connected with the hip tourist so we could have snacks and flowers in our room. The happy hour was fabulous. All the staff were accommodating and very helpful. It was a wonderful wedding weekend.

Arrived Friday afternoon, check-in was seamless and fast. Very good recommendations from the staff for local dining and shopping all within a short walking distance from the hotel. Weather was perfect.

Room was delightful, cozy, quiet, and clean.

Wonderful Cuban Bistro opens early with the best morning Cafe Con Leche on the planet within a two minute walk from the hotel.

Sunset dinner at Latitudes was divine. It was wonderful to have the front staff call a taxi for us.

Certainly would recommend those wishing to spend time in Key West at the Key Lime Inn. Close to everything.

Thank you.

This is my second visit to this property and my third with the Historic Key West Inns hotel group. I love the location of the Chelsea House Hotel – close enough to Duval to walk, but not so close that you’re living it all the time. I visit Key West several time a year for work and have found the Historic Key West Inns to be well-kept, well-managed, well-staffed and well-informed.

The grounds are always neat, clean and beautiful in their landscaping; the staff is always personable, helpful and present. I wish I could remember the young woman name when I checked in (I do remember she was from CT) – not only was she personable and friendly – she immediately tried to determine how much (if any) information I needed about the area (restaurants, shopping, attractions etc.), warned me about parking in Old Town (look for those meters) and emphasized that there was always (during office house) someone to answer any questions. I asked about some of the local spas – she and the concierge were able to provide references/brochures and noted that the concierge could assist in booking appointments – such convenience!  I asked about local restaurants – had recommendations and coupons to offer. Check-in and Check-out were simple – even checking out at 7am I was greeted with a smile and an offer of assistance.

My room was absolutely beautiful.  A large space immediately behind the room on the street side so low noise and convenient to the pool area (breakfast as well!).  Well appointed with a comfortable bed, couch, multiple lighting sources and good storage – entirely too much space for one person but it was always spotlessly clean and welcoming– as I have found all of the related properties. Décor is nice with clean lines and similar colors throughout the properties.

Probably one of my favorite restaurants is The Café on Southard Street and I really enjoyed my visit to the Botanical Garden and Butterfly Conservancy.

One of my best friends (since kindergarten, 47 years, and now you know our ages) was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer last October. We wanted to do something special but didn’t know what. She lives in New York and I am in Naples Florida. I offered to fly her down here for a mini vacation. Our other girlfriend wanted to join. Well, we figured on a date and I went to work on planning the trip.

I had stayed at the Key Lime Inn in April of 2016 for my niece’s wedding. Remembering how nice that hotel was, I had no problem checking out your other properties. That is how I came across the Merlin Guest House and found a 2 bedroom cottage. I called in January and booked the cottage for our 3 night stay. I explained the circumstances with the woman I was speaking with, Maureen’s health and the fact she was given 6 months to live, just in case we wouldn’t be able to keep the reservations. And, of course, she explained that there would not be any issues if I needed to cancel.

Well, needless to say, we made the trip and it was everything we wanted and more. We arrived Wednesday afternoon, and were greeted by Linda and Jordan at the front desk. Upon entering “our” cottage, it was more than we ever could have expected. Beautifully appointed and oh so comfortable.

Linda was so helpful with our never ending list of questions and requests. More blankets, restaurants and the best beaches. What, if anything, can we give to Jordan? It was such a treat to have a vacation cat, too.

Maureen and Loraine didn’t want to go back north, opting to stay forever! (Something about becoming squatters.)

I thank you and all your staff, for making this trip so memorable, and letting old friends just have a great time.

Janet McDonald
