We booked this bed & breakfast because of a recommendation received from another friend. I have to say, I was very pleased with the Cypress House. My group had 4 rooms total, as we were there for my bachelor/bachelorette party. Every single room was nicely decorated, very clean, and comfortable (rooms 13, 14, 9 and 4). When I think of Key West, I don’t really expect a spectacular hotel experience but our stay at the Cypress House absolutely blew away my expectations.

My favorite part was the friendliness of the staff. They treat you like the only guest on property. The team remembered our names, and were very genuine with every interaction. Besides the clean rooms and great staff, this bed & breakfast is located very close to everything- a block from Duval street, and a short walk to the Key West Express location. Anything and everything you could want to do in Key West is a very short trip from the Cypress House. Another great feature of the Cypress House is the liming hour (happy hour)- they provide snacks for guests and the food was great! On Saturday we had pulled pork sandwiches and popsicles, and the breakfast every morning was delicious.

Hats off to the entire staff, this is officially my new favorite place to stay in Key West, thank you to everyone who made our stay fantastic :)

I just returned from a weekend trip in Key West with two friends and we loved this hotel!! It’s perfectly located about 2 blocks from Duval St, and since it’s on a less busy road, we didn’t hear any noise at night. We stayed in room #16 – with a great balcony and the hammock right below us. The room was perfect for us, large king size bed and a section sofa. It looked like the room had recently been renovated – or maybe just very well maintained since the sofa, furniture and TV looked pretty new.

The staff was really friendly and nice, I called a week before to add a third person to my reservation and they were really accommodating – making sure our room was large enough for us, etc. There’s a full breakfast served every morning of local bagels, muffins, cereal, fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, milk, orange juice, etc. There was also a Keurig & k-cups in our room!

I would definitely stay here again, it was very clean, there was the nice sized pool, perfectly located to all the sights (half mile to southernmost point and the mile 0 marker, 2 blocks from Ernest Hemingways house, etc) and the grounds were so pretty with the trees and flowers surrounding the property.

The hotel was a really neat place to stay. I only have two complaints from our trip. The first one was the hotel office closing at 10pm. This was kind of difficult, as we were traveling from Orlando. They have a lock box that you can get your key from, though. They were wonderful at letting you check in the next morning. The other problem was parking. Street parking was crowded. This wasn’t just an issue at the hotel, but the entire island. The hotel itself was neat. It had a nest feel to it. The room was clean and had a tropical charm about it. The staff was wonderful during our check in the following morning, as well as, during our check out.  All in all, it was a great experience!

We stayed at the Cyoress House from September 8-11. It was our wedding anniversary. It was wonderful. We enjoyed the breakfast and liming hour. The staff was courteous and professional. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will recommend Cyoress House for all our friends and family.

When we made our reservation, we thought the hotel would be more of a bed and breakfast and were delighted to have our own little cottage-very comfortable and clean, and all the amenities we needed. The breakfast by the pool was a bonus. The staff were all very helpful in suggesting sites to visit and places to eat and directions around the island.

We could not have asked for more courteous staff.

Thanks for a wonderful stay!

The staff was great friendly & extremely helpful. Rooms were large and CLEAN!!! Nice continental breakfast every morning.  The pool was great, a lot of the guests met in the pool in the afternoon and had drinks. Met some really nice people. This inn is close enough to the excitement and far enough away for the quiet atmosphere. We had such a great experience that we recommended friends of ours they booked in October and in November. If you are looking for a nice place to stay do yourself a favor and choose The Key Lime Inn!!!!!!!!
