We enjoyed our stay at the Cypress House Hotel tremendously! From the moment we arrived and were greeted we knew we chose the right place to stay. It felt like home away from home with the cozy feel of the bed and breakfast. Liming hour by the pool was so much fun and we made a lot of new friends. As much as we hated leaving our two small children we are already planning our next trip back! All the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly! Thank you for an amazing vacation!

It was our first time in Key West. We had a great experience staying at the Lighthouse Court Hotel.  We would love to come again..

We booked a room for the end of July 2016. Having never been to Key West, we were flying a bit blind. Wow did we pick a great place! The staff was amazing and friendly, the room was updated, clean and lovely. We were needlessly concerned about not having parking, as there is a large parking garage very close and we never had a problem finding a spot. The room was within walking distance to A&B marina and Duval Street. We had a perfect stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Our stay in the Cypress House Hotel coincidentally and unexpectedly took place during the Papa Look-Alike Contest weekend, and as such, the island and thus, the hotel, were rife with Hemingway doubles.

I mention this because Key West can be a bit rowdy and Cypress House is quite close to Key West’s nightlife. Despite its location, the sprawling estate still feels relatively private and, once you find yourself back at your room, you don’t get the sense that you’re in the middle of it all.

The staff were all kind and helpful and- despite checking in shortly before the front desk closed, Scott still took his time welcoming us and kindly gave us a tour of the premises, providing us with advice and tips for our stay.

We booked a room with a porch, which I’d certainly recommend if you can spare the extra expense. While any Floridian or return traveler knows that the weather is seldom pleasant outside of the winter, nothing quite beats enjoying a nightcap or breakfast on your porch, surrounded by the garden perfume of jasmine, plumeria, gardenia and sea air.

The premises were well-maintained, the room spotless, and a positive experience overall. The sole opportunity for improvement I noticed was the breakfast- perhaps opting for fresher items would have augmented the experience.

Thank you for the experience; I’m looking forward to my next stay.

My wife and I stayed here for a short trip in July and had a great time.  The room was clean and the air conditioner worked really well, which is especially important in the July heat.  The location provides easy access to old town’s attractions, we walked almost everywhere.  I was pleasantly surprised with the continental breakfast in that it included hard boiled eggs for some needed protein.  My only complaint is that the sunny pool was a bit warm for my liking.  Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

We came down to Key West on July 22, 23 and the 24th for a Gulfshore SW Mustang Club Weekend in Key West.   I loved the location, it was very close to everything.  Duval Street was two blocks away.  You could park your car and just walk everywhere.  Our room was a Queen Deluxe with a refrigerator and a coffee machine.  I would definitely recommend staying here, the staff was very friendly, loved the size of the pool, loved the continental breakfast around the pool with fresh fruit and bagels, cereal, orange juice and wonderful coffee.  The room was very nice, updated recently or just seemed that way.  I sometimes have trouble sleeping on away from home beds, but had no trouble with this one.   I would stay in the same room again.

I will definitely be back to enjoy the Key Lime Inn again, plus I love Key West.

Great time. Beautiful grounds. Breakfast was awesome from food to servers. Ken was so friendly. The door was hard slightly to unlock but that was minor. We will be back.

  • This was our first time staying at one of the Historic Key West Inn’s hotels and we were more than pleased. When we arrived at Key Lime Inn it was raining, and the very friendly concierge gave us complimentary rain ponchos and was very helpful with planning our activities for the next couple of days. Our room was beautiful, cozy, very comfortable, and smelled really, really nice.

It was a perfect setting for a romantic getaway weekend. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

This was our second stay in our favorite room. We love the neighborhood location. We really enjoyed getting to know Kenneth. He gave us and a lot of other vacationers good ideas for restaurants and places to see. He showed us a couple larger rooms in case we want to request one of those extra time. My husband is one of Jordan’s biggest fans & made sure he always had treats for him. Great time & memories.
