Great place to stay! We were looking for the perfect place to stay for a couple of nights after our cruise and wanted to just walk to all nearby attractions, restaurants and nightlife. The Merlin Guest House was perfect. Clean, beautiful inside and out. Wished we had more time there. I have already given a brochure to a co-worker that will be coming for a visit in the fall. Hopefully we will be able to come back very soon. Thank you for being so helpful Lee!

Sincerely,

Bruce and Billie Henderson

My husband and I stayed at the Chelsea House Hotel over the Memorial Day weekend.  This was our first time visiting Key West and we are so glad we stayed at this hotel.  The hotel staff were very friendly, the room was clean, the hotel well maintained, and the location can’t be beat.   The hotel is right on Truman Ave. It’s on a main road, but it does not feel like it. The view across the street is beautiful,  the rooms are quiet and the  surroundings are very lush – lots of trees, a great pool area, and plenty of places to just relax and unwind – where you feel like you are away from everything.  Duval Street is  just down the road.  Very easy to walk or bike to just about everywhere.  We stayed in a room that faces Truman Ave.  When we first arrived we were concerned  that it may be too loud.  John, from the front desk, checked us in and let us see the room first, before making our decision to potentially switch rooms (as he mentioned it was a great room).  We are so glad he did.  The room was perfect.  Very comfortable, historic tropical and spacious enough for two people.  We really enjoyed sitting on the porch just outside our room.   John was fabulous.  He helped us make reservations for a sunset cruise, made great suggestions and introduced us to their Lighthouse Court Hotel Mojito Bar.  We highly recommend the Mojitos – best we’ve ever had!  The Chelsea House Hotel was a great choice for us.  We would definitely recommend staying here.  We are looking forward to another visit.

Having been born here I find it hard to come and stay in some of the run down hotels. Having found Albury Court Hotel on our latest trip, I never have to worry about that again. Beautiful Rooms with ICE COLD A/C. Walking distance to Duval St and the water front.

Thanks for making our vacation great. :0)

A nice relaxing place, small rooms but overall a good hideaway from large noisy hotels.

The Chelsea House Hotel was the base for my first stay in Key West.

The accommodations, staff, facilities were outstanding and certainly make coming back to Key West a priority.

It was a pleasure to stay at the Chelsea House.

LOVED  the Merlin Guest House.

I have stayed at many of the B&B’s in Key West and have loved most of them with always a “room for improvement clause” ; until now.

We stayed in a one bedroom, that was spacious, clean, had everything we needed to cook a meal; loved the iced tea that was always available poolside, the breakfast was nice, the staff were friendly and warm, 5 star, which is far from a rather snobby or non existent staff that you get in some/most other places. Perfect location far enough off Duval to be peaceful, yet close enough to be in the center of the action in 2 minutes.

Jordan Del Gato (the resident cat) was adorable and earned himself some new Facebook friends in us.

The only thing I would change is I would add a HOT Jacuzzi.

We will definitely be back.:)

I stayed at the Key Lime Inn with a friend for a girls trip and we had a great time! The hotel is conveniently located to Duval Street so you are close to the action and far enough away to be quiet at night. The ladies at the front desk were very helpful and gave us some great restaurant suggestions. Thanks for a great stay in Key West, I can’t wait to return with my husband!

My husband and I chose Key West and the Cypress House Hotel to celebrate our 10th anniversary. The staff was very welcoming and also helpful when giving us suggestions of local restaurants to try. They even left us a small bottle of champagne with a happy anniversary note in our room. We were pleased with the room and bathroom size, the balcony area and the free breakfasts each morning. Plus the location of the Cypress House is perfectly located in Old Town. Overall a very nice hotel and definitely a place where we would stay again.

I must say I’ve never stayed in such a chic little hotel! I’m more of a budget lodging girl and camp when I can. What a gem Merlin Guest House was, and very well priced! My husband and I stayed overnight before heading to Dry Tortugas to camp for 3 days. Our guest room was adorable, everything clean and well maintained and still had such a historic feel to it. I loved the pool patio and lush landscaping and the sweet little cat they take care of on the patio 🙂 I cannot wait until I come back to Key West because we will for sure be staying in another of their Historic Key West Inns hotels. You cannot beat the price for the accommodations and the location to all Key West has!

This was my and my husbands first trip to Key West and I will never stay in another hotel besides one of the Historic Key West Inns ever!! We stayed at Albury Court Hotel extremely last minute on the Sunday of Memorial Weekend. Our rental car had a flat as we came back from 3 days of camping in Dry Tortugas (no showers, AC, etc) to dealing with the rental headache and eventually were told to get a hotel room for the night as we could not get a car until the next day. Desperately we searched for a hotel that wasn’t upwards of $400 a night and since we had previously stayed at their Merlin Guest House on Thursday and loved it, I called and luckily Albury Court had some rooms at a great price. On the phone Rose was the absolute sweetest and understanding as I was almost in tears hoping they had a room and apologizing as there were various other conversations going on as my husband was dealing with the rental company. She even called back to see that we were alright and to make sure we had all the right phone numbers as it was getting close to the office closing at 10pm. The night manager was also the sweetest on the phone, and she was at the hotel in barely 5 mins to get us our key and helped carry some of our camping equipment to the room. I was blown away by all the customer service. The hotel was also in the most convenient place to walk to the waterfront! I already have told multiple people interested in Key West that they MUST stay with y’all! Thank you so much for making such an awful evening into a very pleasant bright spot in our Key West stay 🙂
