We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Merlin Guest House.  The place is situated 1 block from Duval and the garden courtyard makes you feel like you are in an oasis.  The room was beautiful and we loved having our own little porch.  I would have liked to learn a little more about the history of the building and it would be nice to have a different variety for breakfast each day, but other than that our stay was perfect.  I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Key West. Thank you.

We spent 4 great nights in Key West and the Merlin Guest House was perfect for our first visit to the Keys. The hotel has the flavor of an upscale B&B without the upscale pricing. For the dollars spent the quality of accommodation was very good for Key West. The bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly and their recommendations for dinners and activities hit the mark every time. The best part was the central location of the hotel that made it extremely easy to get to any place we wanted to go. We just parked our car in their private lot and forgot about it and the traffic for 4 days! This hotel was recommended by our nephew and we plan to recommend it to anyone who is headed to the Keys.

We love the old town charm of Key West so much that we visit a few times a year. The Chelsea House Hotel did not fall short bringing out all of it.  We were upgraded into their rooms across the street and absolutely loved it.

When we got there and checked in, the gentleman at the counter gave us a map of the property, showed us the highlights, where to find everything including, of course, our room which they had upgraded us to.  The room was so much larger than we thought it’d be and was spotless.  It was furnished beautifully and had plenty of room between the dresser and large armoire for our many clothes. This new building even has the bonus of having your own pool besides the communal pool in the main courtyard.  Staff were always very welcoming and looking to give any advice or directions to make you feel at home.

The breakfast was fun next to the pool.  The homemade muffins were by far the star.  They were absolutely delicious, we had to grab one every day even if we had breakfast plans.

If there was anything we’d change would be that instead of a large chair in the corner, I’d suggest a small 2 seater bistro table.  There is more than enough room in there and needed a place to put things down since the TV took up most space on the dresser.  It is in no way shape or form a complaint and wouldn’t deter from returning and shouldn’t for anyone else either.  Just a personal preference and would suggest this place for anyone to stay in a beautiful old town charming hotel but still has that resort feel.

My husband and I spent 5 days in Key West in March.  Our friends recommended the Lighthouse Court Hotel and we are so glad we took their recommendation.  Our king room was perfect size with close proximity to the quiet pool area.   The staff was helpful, storing our luggage, ordering bikes for us and giving us an overview of the island upon check in.   We will definitely book a return visit to this location.

Traveling to Key West many times I wanted to get a great location with a pool and nice rooms. Cypress House Hotel was exactly the location where we wanted to stay. Close to Duval St. and close to the marina but a few blocks away so still quiet. The 2 couples we invited on the trip fell in love with Cypress House. They have also been to Key West multiple times and we all agree that Cypress House was the best location, cleanest, and most personal place we have stayed. From the time you check in to the time you leave, they are there to make sure your stay is great. We loved the happy hour at the pool with an adult beverage and small snack. The continental breakfast was great and much more than just bagels. All the room are different and great in their own way. We can’t wait to go back!!!!!

Any vacation can be made or broken by the location and cleanliness of the hotel you choose to stay in.  The Lighthouse Court Hotel has an excellent location in Key West.  It is within walking distance of anything you may want to do: Hemmingway House, the Lighthouse Museum, The Little White House, Duval Street, Mallory Square, and the Southernmost Point.

Our room was very well maintained and seemed to have been remodeled in the not too distant past.  It was cleaned every day and we had no worries about that.   Everyone we met at  Lighthouse Court was friendly, but the staff at the front desk was exceptionally helpful.  They recommended restaurants and activities, making reservations for us when we decided what we wanted to do. Their directions to things were very easy to follow.  We enjoyed dining at Blue Heaven which was only about two blocks from our room!  Check in and check out were extremely easy and quick.  The front desk staff was knowledgeable about printing boarding passes for our flight home and getting a taxi for our trip to the airport.

I would not hesitate to recommend Lighthouse Court Hotel to friends and plan on staying there sometime in the future.

Our stay at the Chelsea House Hotel was perfect.  All of the staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful.  We received great recommendations on things to do and restaurants from them.  Our room was very spacious and comfortable.  We loved having two pools. The areas around the hotel and pool were so nice and relaxing. Breakfast was the same every day but as you would expect. Met some great people around the pool from all places. We would recommend staying at the Chelsea House and intend to return ourselves.  Be sure to go to Better than Sex (a dessert restaurant) when you are there too. It is right down the street.

We stayed 2 nights at the Key Lime Inn in March and could not have been happier with our stay!
The room was spacious, cozy and clean. As I had come down with the flu I was forced to stay in bed, but the lovely room made being sick bearable.
Breakfast was lovely outside by the pool.
When we wanted to borrow some towels after we had already checked out but wanted to visit the beach, it was no problem at all.
Also loved the hot and cold water that were always available by the reception.
Sitting outside was very nice, as well.
We will come again.

Stayed 3 nights in late March and couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more. Friendly staff provided great service and local recommendations, grounds were immaculate, and the breakfast was delicious. The location was ideal, close to everything, but quiet at the same time. Can’t wait to return!

My husband and I stayed one night, but we were very pleased to find it very relaxing, but yet close enough to walk to the downtown area.  We enjoyed the breakfast by the pool the next morning, as well as, appreciated how clean and refreshing the rooms were.  We will be back ….but for a longer stay- it was hard to leave!
