We arrived at the Chelsea House Hotel around 4pm on Friday 12/9 and were greeted by friendly helpful staff that got us checked in right away.  She offered up suggestions and maps of the area to help us as it was our first trip to Key West.  The room, although on the smaller side, was perfect for us because we spent most of our time outside of the room exploring!

Everything was fairly modern and had a very cozy feel.

We didn’t really need to assistance of housekeeping, besides their daily routine, but we had fresh towels, etc on our second day.

Check out was just as easy and the staff was just overall very friendly and wanted to make sure they met our needs and wanted to be of as much assistance as need be!

I would definitely recommend this hotel, or another hotel in the group to friends traveling.

We will definitely be back to Key West because 2 days was just not enough. GREAT town!

My friend and I stayed for 5 nights in December, 2016 and were very happy with our nice clean room, 2 queen beds and big shower.  All the staff were very friendly.  The complimentary breakfast was well ABOVE average with lots of tasty choices.  A real plus was being so close to the Yankee Freedom dock for our early morning departure to the Dry Tortugas.  Absolutely would stay at the Albury Court Hotel again.

This reservation was a shot in dark and made me a little nervous since I was the one planning a surprise trip for my sister’s birthday.  HOWEVER, from the moment I made the reservation, to the time I called to say we would be arriving at a later time, I knew I had made the right decision!

Upon arrival, the front desk young lady greeted us in a genuine manner, made us feel right at home and even helped us setup our WiFi!  When we arrived in our room, we immediately felt at home.  The room was updated, clean and nicely stocked with everything we needed including a wine cooler/refrigerator.  What a great room to return to after a day of running around the island!  Can’t wait to come back.  This will be my go-to hotel of choice in the future and will be highly recommended to family and friends!  Thanks for a great stay!

So, my girlfriend and I decide to get away for the weekend! Yay! and I book this so called 4 star Resort (I thought I’d impress her), only to check out 5 minutes later (she refused to say there), we won’t name names, but it rhymes with…….no, really we won’t do that, but to go on.

My girlfriend says to me, “Hey!!! 30 years ago when I would frequent Key West I would stay at this really chill place called the Merlin Guest House, let’s see if they’re still around” and she googled and sure enough it still existed.

She called, Ebony answers “Yes, we have a room for you” (btw this was around 8pm), she was awesome we were kinda worried we would have to sleep in the airport or take out a home equity line for a last minute hotel room,  but Ebony took care of us . When we arrived I was pleasantly surprised , I knew I was in the Real Key West, it’s such an authentic boutique hotel, it doesn’t feel like a hotel, it feels like you’re part of something, you’re a neighbor.

It’s one block off from Duval Street, but it feels like a neighborhood. Our room was spacious, clean, high ceilings and we had a porch with tables and chairs where we sipped our morning coffee amongst tropical lush garden, it was really cool. It was really special. Linda checked us out and she treated us like family. WE WILL BE BACK!!!! Never change!!! Merlin you left us with a little of your magic and we can not THANK YOU enough. Till soon..very soon.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Cypress House Hotel.  The accommodations were clean and modern. The breakfast was very nice with a good selection, including a different egg dish daily.  We also enjoyed the liming hour. The hotel staff was welcoming and helpful.

Came to the Lighthouse Court Hotel for a weekend family wedding and it was a wonderful experience. From the time I booked throughout the weekend the surroundings, staff, fellow guests and service were top notch. From Lila in the Mojito Bar to Hubert at the front desk, they were aiming to please all the way. My only criticism made be the following: our cottage seemed to always have lights on outside. This is probably a good thing security-wise, but is a bit disarming to wake at 2 AM thinking it’s dawn. The breakfast buffet was healthy and fresh each day and the coffee top-grade.

We needed a hotel room last minute and booked at the Chelsea House Hotel through Hotel Tonight on the afternoon of.  The representatives at the front desk (who were there the next day as well) were extremely thorough and helpful in getting us settled.  Our room was cozy and the windows were ground-level and facing the property’s communal walkway; it was clean and comfortable and we didn’t end up spending a ton of time in the room anyway so wasn’t really a problem. We left our bags at the desk after checking out but hung out at the pool and around the property for much of the afternoon.  Overall really positive stay, largely in part to the great front desk staff.

Even though our stay was short (one night), we know this will be where we’ll stay next time we’re in Key West!  The place was spotless, and the staff was amazingly friendly and helpful.  Nice breakfast offering as well.  We’ve stayed a couple other places in Key West, and this has been our favorite!  We miss it already!!

Thanks!  Jeremy & Colleen

We stayed at the Cypress House Hotel for a quick weekend trip for a friends wedding.  The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful to assist with arrangements in getting around town, especially Melissa.  The amenities were very clean, well organized and made you feel right at home. The hotel is within walking distance of everything, we parked the car and forgot about it until it was time to go home.  It was an extremely relaxing and much needed break.

Very quaint and cute historic hotel.  VERY close to everything we wanted to do (Mallory Sq, Sunset Key, Duval, Marina).  So glad we stayed in this ’boutique style’ hotel where we were treated like we had a face and a name and not just ‘cattle’.   Melissa gave excellent service checking us in and out (she even helped carry a suitcase to our room).  We were given an upgrade from queen to king upon arrival and room was spacious, clean, and shower was Huge.  Breakfast was great (local ham and swiss filled croissants!)  Was so nice sitting out in open air by pool for breakfast.  Lovely hotel!!  Would recommend to anyone and everyone!!!
