My husband and I stayed at the Key Lime Inn in July for 4 nights. Only going off of reviews I read online, we were pleasantly surprised to find the quaint, clean and comfortable Key Lime Inn that others had reviewed. Staff was friendly and helpful from the moment I made the reservations until our check out. Our room was cleaned well everyday and in a timely fashion and the convenience and location to Duval Street and major attractions in Key West was unbeatable. We very much enjoyed out stay at the Key Lime Inn and would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to our friends and family.

Nice place, close to harbor walk & marinas. About 15 min walk to Duval Street. You do have to park on street but it wasn’t too hard. This is in Old Town after all.

My husband and I have been coming to Key West for 18 years now.  We have always stayed at the Key Lime Inn with the exception of 2  times and both those times we stayed at their sister hotels.  There is not one thing I could complain about.  The pool is perfection, the restaurants in the area are exceptional.  We prefer Blue Heaven, Seven Fish, Schooner Wharf and Camille’s.  The rooms we have stayed in are always immaculate and housekeeping does a great job.  The girls at the desk in Key Lime Inn were so sweet.  I asked them to please find out the color of the paint in our room and the next day they had it for me!  Also, since this was an anniversary trip, the room had an iced bottled of champagne waiting for us and cards wishing us a very happy anniversary AND an upgraded room.  Nothing could make this place better!!!!!  Do yourself a favor and make this your “go to” hotel when you are in Key West. 🙂

We just visited Key West July 19-22,2016.  We chose the Key Lime Inn for its central location in the historic district and we were not disappointed!  Everything we wanted to do was in walking distance, and it was great to not have to worry about finding parking places.  The staff went above and beyond the call of duty.  We knew when breakfast started, but not when it ended, and missed it by 10 minutes.  The staff made a very nice tray for us and would have brought it to our room had we not insisted on waiting for it.  We had a great room with access to a very nice veranda.  We loved the peace and quiet.  The room was beautifully done and the bed was quite comfortable.  We slept great there!  Linens were high quality and the hotel was very clean.  I will stay there again and recommend it highly to my friends.

We’ve been to Key West 6 times in the past 2 years and this has been our favourite place to stay. The location is great, close to Smokin Tunas (our favourite place for live music) and the Historic Seaport as well.

Scott on check in was amazing and the happy hours were great. The coffee was great and the breakfast above normal continental style.

We spent some time in the pool which was well maintained.

Our room had a beautiful porch and was probably my favourite spot to hang out and watch people walk by.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for old town Key West with all the modern conveniences.

The answer is yes to all questions above. Unfortunately, I didn’t retain the names of the nice staff people with whom I spoke at the hotel.  We did love walking over to Sarabeth’s for breakfast and The Porch for a nice glass of wine.  We went through The Little White House and the Hemingway House for tours just as we had two years ago and enjoyed both.  I would definitely recommend your hotel for anyone who might be inclined to visit Key West in the future.

My husband and I spent four nights recently in the historic Chelsea House Hotel on Truman Avenue in Key West.  From the moment we arrived we were treated warmly by staff both at the front desk and in house keeping.  The room was clean, easy to get to, and nicely decorated.  The breakfast was good, and I especially loved the special touch of the wooden swing hanging from one of the trees on the property.  The hotel was within walking distance of all the major sites in Key West, yet was located far enough away to be really quiet and peaceful at night.  I would highly recommend it.

The employees were very welcoming. the rooms are small but very cozy and kept clean at all times! It’s 3 blocks from duval street and not very far from the beach. plus complimentary breakfast! I’d definitely stay here again.
