Hotel is located in Old Town Key West, all places of sightseeing, entertainment and restaurants are in walking distance.
Rooms are clean and comfortable with a large bathroom and a nice pool area. Very friendly and cooperative staff. Check-in and out process was fast and uncomplicated.

As the room was a small standard room I was missing some kind of wardrobe for my clothes and an extra rack in bathroom for the beauty products.

It was a delightful stay in Key West, as we managed to pick a few sunny days in the middle of winter. But what made the stay so special was the attention and thoughtfulness of the staff who assisted us throughout our stay, from finding a parking lot and getting our way around the city to giving us tips on how to plan our stay and make the best use of our time. Some of the hotel guests seems to be regulars – the staff knew their names, families and preferences which seemed charmingly old-fashioned. We appreciated slow paced breakfasts with wonderful coffee and the old cat (old sport) who has decided to live his final days among hotel guests and employees. I truly recommend it! <3 <3 <3

Hello. My significant other and I stayed at the Lighthouse Court Hotel to celebrate the start of a New Year.  We could not have been more thrilled or impressed with the service, location, and staff.  I must apologize because I am terrible with names, but I will do my best to identify outstanding staff.  Honestly, I didn’t encounter anyone that I did not think gave exceptional service.  We did have the opportunity to spend a little more time around some staff than others.  The lady at the mojito bar who had the Scandinavian accent was fantastic. I enjoyed talking with her each time I saw her.  She gave excellent suggestions for places to dine, along with other great recommendations! She is a gem!  The young man who checked us in was fantastic. He gave us clear information when we checked in, and was excellent at making us feel welcome from the start.  The young lady with the braids in the front office was also wonderful.  She was warm and made us feel right at  home. She was accomodating with all requests, and delightful to talk to. There was another young lady working there but I am not sure what her position was.  Perhaps she worked with ensuring that the rooms were cleaned?  Again, I am horrible with names. Any way, our stay was delightful. The people were fantastic.  We did not want to leave, and we do hope to come back for another stay with them.  Two suggestions that I would make – one, it would be helpful to have some type of shelf or ledge in the bathroom for toiletries and a hook to hang the towels for when you get out of the shower (simple fixes), and it might be helpful to have some type of pull down shade to cover the windows/shades at night.  The lights coming through the windows at night were a tad bit distracting.  I live in the country and don’t have any street lights or other form of lighting, so it was definitely a change for me.  Regardless, the stay was amazing, and we hope that we will be able to return for another wonderful stay. My stay dates were December 30, 2015 to January 5, 2016.

We recently stayed at the Albury Court Hotel in January 2016. This hotel was originally chosen per its extremely convenient location to the ferry terminal. Upon check in, the staff was extremely friendly & efficient. We proceeded to our room and were delightfully surprised by the entire courtyard area, swimming pool and overall attention to detail and cleanliness!!! We would totally recommend this hotel – It is perfect when staying in Key West and really also gives you a feeling of staying in Key West. We have stayed in Key West numerous times in the past. The neighborhood is wonderful and a very short walk to town, bars, restaurants, entertainment, etc.

Since you asked.. I would commend the tall lady in charge of the breakfast area as a person devoted to making the customers happy. She has a smile on her face and wished us safe trip home as she saw us leave. Every staff member said hello as we approached and was very courteous. Housekeeping was fine. Check in good. We visited many of our favorites but we want to recognize Flaming Buoys on Packer recommended 3 yrs ago by your staff member. Our question about room choices was resolved as we like to have the same room year to year. It was suggested that we call for reservations; speaking to a person. Yes, we have recommended to friends and they have come.

I live in Miami and got to Key West ocassionally to dive or meet up with friends for special occasion. I’m not looking for a pool, beach, spa or any of that.  I just want a nice clean new room with a great staff and walking distance to nightlife and restaurants. I also would rather spend my money going out rather than on where I sleep.  This place fits the bill. Excellent experience and very reasonable. Cute traditional Key West architecture and on the north side of the island just blocks from the action.  I would use them again and recommend it to friends.

The Merlin Guest House is one of my go-to hotels in Key West. Friendly staff, clean, comfortable and consistent accommodations, from the rooms to the suites and the cottages, you can’t go wrong…

Thank you for the wonderful accommodations at the Chelsea House. It more than exceeded our expectations. We loved our private veranda and the beautiful furnishings in our room. The staff, each one of them, were very accommodating. The room was beautifully cleaned each day of our stay. I want to say the breakfast at the pool was very nice as well. It was so pretty and the food so good. I cannot think of anything I would change with the room we had or the stay. Thank you again for having us.

The Key Lime Inn had the perfect “flavor” of Key West that we were looking for in our first visit.  The cottage that we stayed in was done with such style — lots of windows, a front porch to sit and view the pool and palm trees, cathedral ceiling, nice artwork, hardwood floors, fresh paint.  The A/C, flat-screen TV and Keurig coffeemaker worked great.  The bed was very comfortable.  The breakfast by the pool was perfect!   The location was great for us — we walked down Duval to Mallory Square both days, walked to Hemingway’s home (highlight of our too-brief time there), walked to the nearby excellent Cuban restaurant, El Siboney (elsiboneyrestaurant.com), walked to Higgs Beach and checked out the dog park, beach, tennis courts, etc.  From the Key Lime Inn, you can walk anywhere on the island!  We would love to come back again.  Thanks for a very positive experience.  Your staff were friendly, efficient, and professional.  Impressive!
