We stayed at the Lighthouse Court Hotel during March of 2016.  We were upgraded to a king suite upon our arrival that was very nice.  Our room had a private porch with outdoor furniture as well as an interior sitting room.  Very nice.

The Lighthouse Court Hotel is conveniently located next to Hemingway’s House and the historic Key West lighthouse, as well as being steps away from Duval Street and the southernmost point landmark.

There was free off-site parking two blocks from the hotel, which was nice, since we had access to our car in case we needed to use it during our stay (which we did not).  We simply walked everywhere that we visited during our stay.

Overall, we had a positive experience and would recommend the Lighthouse Court Hotel to our friends!

As this was our first visit to Key West we had no idea what to expect during our stay. From the moment we arrived, throughout our entire stay the staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. The receptionist provided us with information about the area. The room was extremely clean and efficient. The great location of the hotel allowed us to walk from coast- to coast with little effort. We really enjoyed The Blue Heaven Restaurant just a block away. If you go, make sure to get the key lime pie.

Can’t wait for a return trip!

Superior. Fantastic. Above and beyond in every and all aspects. Definitely telling others this is the spot to stay and where we will stay again without question. Dry Tortugas day trip was amazing and enjoyed a delicious dinner at Seven Fish.

Thank you for making our trip! – Michael Dilger

Perfect hotel for a quick weekend getaway. Very charming historic place. Great location…walking distance to all major attractions yet away from all the noise.  Nice  comfortable rooms although a bit small which was fine for the weekend. Friendly and helpful staff and easy check-in check-out process. Small charge for parking, however, parking on the street is free and thankfully we were able to find a parking spot right across from the hotel. Overall great experience. Sunset Pier was the perfect place to watch beautiful sunsets.

Dear Julia and Danielle,

Our experience with your Lighthouse Court Hotel last month was over the top. Our stay was prompted by a delayed vacation due to my husband’s two busted legs. You made the recovery so sweet. Here’s why:

– The staff did everything with keen attention to customer service and an understanding of what we needed. We continue to think of Laura and how she helped us with a bump in getting our electronic sports tickets. These costly tickets were pre-bought before our visit and were only accessible during our stay with you. Laura made certain we got our tickets and genuinely celebrated the relief we felt when we had the printed tickets in our hands.

– From cabs to bike rentals, Laura treated every request with urgency. Marie and Rose also assisted us with questions and services at the front desk. It was a sheer surprise when Laura initiated a call to us on check-out day. She offered to carry our luggage so that my husband wouldn’t be tempted to lift them and test his recovery. Everything your team did to receive and store our store our luggage made it so easy for us.

– While all my comments so far have been about your team, you also need to know how much we appreciate the attention to detail you demonstrate in your hotel. Right down to the bagel cutter, guests will be impressed with your breakfast. The food and beverage appeals to every diet, its presentation is fresh and the pool-side atmosphere is a wonderful place to start your day. The cleanliness of your property, the plantings and lawn, and the well-maintained decking make it a welcome oasis. You seem to know that plenty of clean towels, by poolside or on a day when room housekeeping isn’t needed, are a treat to guests.

Thank you for a wonderful visit
L & R Walker

Want to stay near the center of action in Key West – stay at the Cypress House Hotel!  We appreciated the Historic Key West Inns reservation agent recommending that property over their others we were considering. We were greeted by Melissa at check-in. Our room in the main house was comfortable, well maintained, and convenient to the pool and breakfast and liming (happy hour). Breakfast was varied and filling – especially for our friends who need protein at breakfast, not just pastries. We would highly recommend the property to anyone visiting Key West. We want to return!

We stayed at the Merlin Guest House at the end of March 2016.  Our flight was early in the morning and we fully expected that our room would not be ready when we arrived at Merlin.  The cab dropped us off at the door and we checked in the office.  As we expected, the rooms were not ready at 10am.  But, the gentleman in the office, offered to keep our luggage for us, offered us a place to change and a glass of tea, while we walked around awaiting our room.  A short while later, our room was ready and we checked in.  Our room was beautiful, it was spotless, looked as if it was just remodeled and we were the first guest staying in the room.

Each morning, there was Continental breakfast served in the court yard next to the pool and all afternoon there was iced tea available in the court yard.

Our room was cleaned and remade each morning, everything refreshed including the Keurig coffee that was in the room.  One morning, I banged my leg on the corner of the bed and I notified the office and later that day after returning from lunch, there was a note in the room from the maintenance person and housekeeper advising that the repair was completed and asked us to notify them if it wasn’t to our expectation.  We couldn’t have asked for any more.

We will definitely return to the Merlin Guest House in the future and recommend all of our friends to try this place that was only 1 block off Duval Street.

My husband and I stayed at the Lighthouse Court Hotel in March 2016 for a week. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and enjoyed every moment. The desk clerks and staff were friendly, professional and met all our needs. Room was cleaned to perfection everyday, breakfast delicious and had a bar for afternoon cocktails. In the evening, you could enjoy the courtyard which was quiet and relaxing.

Thanks for making our 25th perfect.

We will be back!!

We will be back !
