We recently stayed for four nights and had a wonderful experience. The cottage we stayed in was clean and spacious and very charming. The staff was friendly and always available if we needed anything. The pool seemed small in the photos but it was not and we always found a sunny spot and it was never overly crowded. Much more spacious than we expected. I was also worried about being on a busy road but we didn’t hear any street noise. It was quiet and the perfect location where we could walk or ride bikes to all of our favorite spots. We highly recommend the Key Lime Inn and can’t wait to return!

I recently stayed at the Merlin Guest House for the 3rd time. We were able to plan our trip out by several months by working with Mary. Since there were 4 other couples in our group Mary also was able to accommodate their needs too. She was able to place my wife and I in the same cottage that we had rented on our last two visits. How great is that!! And Kenneth and Linda were there to meet all of our needs on a daily basis. We felt like part of the family while we were there. I would highly recommend staying at the Merlin Guest House or any of their other Historic Key West Inns hotels.

This was my first stay at the Cypress House Hotel. I booked late and was joining friends who were all staying in different places. They recommended Cypress House as one I look into. It was President’s Weekend and the rates were high, but I am very used to Key West hotels, location, pricing and value. You can’t compare the pricing of a room in KW to anywhere else, because it is so high. Cypress House by any other standard would not be a good value, but in KW it was. I reserved the standard queen and had requested to be in the main house, before I arrived. Upon early arrival (12:30 pm), they gave me the King room on the 3rd floor as an upgrade and it was ready. I thought that was very nice of them. They carried my bag up to the room and of course, I tipped him because I didn’t want to do it! I had breakfast at the hotel, which was more than fine and quite pleasant sitting outside. I also sat outside with my Ipad and both outside and in my room had very good wifi. After the 1st night, I had a couple issues that I discreetly told the front desk about and it was promptly corrected. They gave me late checkout by 1 hour and also stored my bags for the rest of the day. Overall, the location is great – within walking distance of the places I like to go to. It was quiet, I felt very safe and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. I would recommend this hotel.

For Valentine’s Day I had decided to take my girlfriend to Key West for lunch and to watch a famous Mallory Square Sunset. After a great lunch at El Meson de Pepe, we watched a gorgeous sunset. I was only planning on staying the day then driving back to West Palm Beach, but the day was so incredible we just had to stay the nite. Everything was booked. That’s when we came across the Key Lime Inn.

Our experience at the hotel was just Amazing! The staff (Stephanie) was just extremely friendly and courteous. When we arrived at our room it was soo very… charming, charming, charming… and very clean and just the perfect ending to a perfect Valentine’s Day. We are soo looking forward to going back to Key West and staying at the Key Lime Inn again. I couldn’t of asked for a more Romantic stay.

Thank You again… You made our Great trip even Greater!!

On an impulse trip during one of the busiest weekends of the season, we stumbled upon this little gem! The room was clean and up to date and the staff was so very pleasant. We will be returning! As each property has a unique flair, we look forward to trying the other 5 as well!

We had a lovely visit. The weather was 73 and sunny, just perfect for us midwestern folks coming from 1 degree. We would have loved to use the pool, but a pool heated to 80 doesn’t work in 73 degrees. I guess you can’t control the weather. It would have been nice to have variety at breakfast, but there were several choices. We’d stay again for sure. Thanks,

We stayed 2 houses down from the main building of Cypress House Hotel. Our room was on the ground floor, back from the street, protected by a locked gate, opened by the guest’s key. The room was small and clean and the location was excellent. The staff was very friendly and check-in and check-out were efficiently handled. On the minus side, the bed was soft so we didn’t sleep that well. I would have liked a desk for my laptop but there really wasn’t room for one. I believe some of the rooms are bigger than ours was. Regarding local restaurants, we especially loved Alonzo’s Oyster bar; everything there, including the margaritas was excellent! I would recommend Cypress House to a friend if they make sure to get a bigger room than we did.

Our first stay at Merlin Guest House was tremendous! You can’t beat the location. The jetted, heated pool is quite lovely too! We had an issue with our reservation and Kenneth went above and beyond to help us straighten things out. Lodging was comfortable, clean and appealing. Breakfast poolside was a special treat as well. We will make this a regular rest stop!

Hotel was very easy to find.  Easy onsite parking. Location of hotel was easy walk to all sights to see! Hotel staff was wonderful. Our room was small and very clean. Breakfast served outdoors by the pool. I would definitely stay here again. No need for alarm clock, neighborhood rooster wakes you up in the morning!
