Cypress House was charming, with a low-key atmosphere. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable.  The location was convenient to Duval Street, yet far enough away that we didn’t have to worry about street noise. The guy who checked us in was very friendly and helpful.

I only have two cons about our stay. First, non-dairy creamer would have been appreciated for the continental breakfast. Non-dairy options should be a consideration in all establishments. My second con really involves Key West in general. I was surprised by the lack of recycling and non-use of biodegradable/compostable materials.  It’s quite surprising that Key West, a location reliant upon its waters and wildlife for its viability, is not more concerned about the environment. I hope that this will soon change.

Our stay at Albury Court Hotel was very pleasant! We loved the tropical atmosphere and the excellent facilities. It was great to have a delicious breakfast (especially the ham and swiss Croissants) right at the pool and take a refreshing jump in after that. Perfect start in the day! The staff was always friendly and helpful.

We will definitely come back!

Great place to stay.  Nice clean comfortable rooms.  Close to the Key West action but not too close!  Loved the breakfast.  Real bagels and baked goods.   Nice selection.  Have stayed there twice already.

My husband and I wanted a retreat from our busy lives in Miami. We were looking to have a laid back experience in a plush and luxurious hotel, without breaking the bank. We couldn’t have been happier at Key Lime Inn. The service was incredible and the staff was kind and welcoming. We enjoyed the pool and the size was perfect for swimming and lounging. We felt that Key Lime Inn was in the perfect location, not too far from bicycle rentals. The rooms were so quaint, comfortable, and upgraded. Very happy with our stay and have already recommended Key Lime Inn to our family.

No complaints,

Chris and Maritza Fernandez

It’s hard not to have a great time in Key West.  After staying at the Albury Court property a few times (and having some issues with a not helpful desk clerk/concierge), we decided to try a new hotel.  The Historic Key West Inns offer great locations and good deals, so we took a look and and decided to give the Chelsea House Pool and Gardens on Truman a shot.  Right across from the Basilica of St. Mary’s and a couple of blocks off of of Duval, the Chelsea House has a TREMENDOUS location!  Lyenna was amazing at check in.  She was nice, courteous and very helpful.  Ten minutes after we arrived at out room, Lyenna stopped by to make sure that we were settled in and that everything was well (unheard of at the Albury Court for us).  The first room we were in was beautiful, but we had an initial issue with the safe.  Lyenne was right there trying to make it right.  Later on in the heat of the day, we discovered that the room was not cooling.  Dennis had one of the maintenance engineers come to our room within ten minutes.  The a/c was working correctly, but the lack of roof insulation (beautiful ceiling, though!) and small a/c unit pointing in the wrong direction left the bed half of the room HOT.  Staying in Key West in July, a freezing cold room to come back to after being out in the heat all day is CRITICAL.  Dennis was extremely helpful.  He not only got us into a cold room, but upgraded us at no charge.  He also helped us move our luggage and ice chest upstairs!  Later on Desiree, another concierge, offered suggestions on new places for dinner — very nice and helpful.

The issues with the original room not withstanding, we were treated so nicely that we decided to extend our stay one more day (with the help of calling the reservation department) at a reduced rate since they had vacancies.  We originally booked a package (Sebago snorkeling half day trip that was ok), so we had to speak to the 800 number at Dennis’ suggestion.

All in all, we had a great time… a great experience and look forward to coming back to Chelsea House.  The grounds are beautiful, and the pool very nice.  The only reason we couldn’t rate it 5 stars is the initial issues with the first room that cost us some time.

Thank you Dennis, Lyenne, and Desiree!

We enjoyed our stay at the Key Lime Inn ! The rooms are charming and comfortable. Next time, will have to be there more nights. Near from everything. Free parking. A place to enjoyed time near the pool and have a walk in those beautiful streets near by.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Key Lime Inn on two separate occasions… in one week!  The first was a planned stay of two nights.  We were so happy with our experience that we decided to stay here again after a brief hop down to Key West from Marathon for the Hemingway Festival turned into a “we should probably get a room”-type of evening.

From the kind office staff to the clean rooms, the Key Lime Inn is an ideal place for those looking for a quiet spot to rest their heads in between adventures.  The rooms are small, but nicely decorated and very clean.  The pool is lovely– a great way to cool off during the day and make some new friends with the other guests.  The included continental breakfast is also an added benefit.

If you’d like to be a little out of the way of Key West craziness, but still very close to all of the action, I highly recommend Key Lime Inn.  It’s the perfect landing spot for all of your Conch Republic explorations.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Albury Court.  Our room and the grounds in general were very nice. Great location within walking distance of Duval, Mallory Square and great restaurants as well.  Hotel staff were all courteous, friendly and very helpful. (Kaya helped us out several times, if she recommends a restaurant, go there, it’s good!) Breakfast was great as well, loved the local aspect of it, plus it saved us so much time and money too. Thanks for a great stay!!

Had an amazing time, my room was #13 superior queen very clean small fridge, pretty roomie.  We had a table with chairs and a hammock right outside our room. Walking distance from duval, or 5 min taxi ride. Wish we stayed longer but, can’t wait to go back. I booked it off season so the price was great for the location, although it’s always a party in the keys even off season, but once you get back to the room it’s very quiet.
