We booked this hotel with two other couples and we were not disappointed at all! Although the rooms were a bit small, everything was in excellent condition. The staff was friendly and helpful! We especially liked the cottage style with very few rooms having adjoining walls. The location was very close to Duval Street, yet quiet and relaxing. We are already planning our next visit to Key West, and would definitely stay at Key Lime Inn again!

My wife and I stayed at Merlin Guesthouse for 5-nights in May of 2015.  The hotel met or exceeded all of our expectations.  The staff were friendly/accommodating during the check-in/check-out process as they allowed us to check-in early upon arrival and offered to store our bags for us during the day of our departure.  Our Standard Queen room was very clean and comfortable, we loved the hardwood flooring, modern lighting and updated bathrooms.  The jetted pool area was also very relaxing.  Great location, just far enough off of Duval St to enjoy the quiet/peaceful side of Key West but just close enough to enjoy the nightlife only a few steps away.  Jordan (the cat) always seemed to be waiting for us upon coming back to our room at night.  We have now stayed at both the Lighthouse Court Hotel and the Merlin Guesthouse and would like to try the Cypress House Hotel on a future visit.  We would definitely recommend their Historic Key West Inns hotels to anyone traveling to Key West!

We had a wonderful stay here, ideal location, attentive staff, clean rooms, lovely pool and breakfast buffet. Would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Key West. Melissa together with her trainee were informative on our arrival.

We (my wife and I) frequent Key West. Though already married, we are having our ‘wedding’ down there next April. We came down this trip with the intention on finding a place that we can refer guests to stay in order to offer them a great, yet reasonably priced option for our ‘wedding celebration’. We found EXACTLY what we wanted. Not only did we stay at Key Lime Inn, but we are now probably going to be coming back down in November to stay at either Chelsea House or Cypress House (we checked them out when walking around). The entire staff was fantastic and attentive. Our room was impeccable and the a/c was very good, which is important in the summer months. Check in and checkout were seamless, and they even allowed me to check in early! I would love to recommend Key Lime Inn to anyone planning on a Key West vacation. Anyone reading this, planning to make your first Key West trip, stay at Key Lime Inn or one of their other properties (Historic Key West Inns) and eat at least once at Santiago’s Bodego (make a reservation).

Thanks for everything,

Christian McKeon

We stay here every time we come to Key West. I wish the rooms had king size beds, but we usually only stay a few nights, so we can get by with the queen mattress.  We travel around 100+ days per year and always stay in a Marriott property, but whenever we travel to Key West, we always stay here.  We like being able to come and go from the room without having to go down a hall and through a lobby like you do with regular hotels.  We also LOVE the location of Albury Court.  It is located in a residential area away from the tourist crowds and bars and it is very quiet.  We love the little pool and breakfast out by the pool.  If you travel by ferry, you don’t even have to get a cab, you can walk the 4 blocks to the hotel because it comes in at the marina closest to the hotel.  We arrived by airplane and it only takes about 15 minutes to get there from the airport.  We will continue to come down annually and stay here.  I hope this review helps someone out there!  You can’t go wrong with Albury Court (I do wish they would start offering a AAA discount).

What drew us to the Key Lime Inn initially was its name but after staying there recently we discovered it has so many inviting attributes. We were greeted by two very friendly and helpful young ladies at check-in who directed us to our room, which was just delightful. The entire facility was spotless and the whole environment was truly tasteful and exceptionally comfortable. Key Lime Inn is very centrally located with access to many of Key West’s attractions. The breakfast that the Inn provided was excellent and overseen by another very attentive young lady.

cute little hotel about 2 or 3 blocks off Duval St. This room was good for 2 people but would be too small for a family. We rented the queen bedroom and it had a queen bed, 1 small sitting chair, 2 nightstands, mini refrigerator, and 1 dresser in the main living area. There was a good size closet with a safe in it. My complaint with our room would be the small bathroom, which little counter space. The room was functional and worked for our 2 day stay but I would want to stay for a week in it. The continental breakfast was very basic. Hard boiled eggs, assorted breads, bagels, muffins, yogurt, cold cereal, coffee, hot tea and orange juice. Its enough to fill you up or at least tide you over until lunch but that’s about it.

The staff at the Chelsea House was very polite and helpful.  We were to be married on our visit.  The manager personally welcomed us and we were made to feel like special guest!  The room appeared to be newly remodeled.  It was roomy, clean, and quiet.  The ac kept it quite comfortable and the balcony overlooked a nice private area in the back.  There is plenty of on site parking and we always had a space by the room, even when being out late with the car one evening.  I will stay here again if I get the chance!

The exceptionally friendly staff was apparent the moment my wife and I checked in —  Victoria  handled our check-in and offered dining tips that we inquired about.  The whole ambience and décor of the hotel gives off the local, historically quant vibe — this is not the big-chain hotel feel.  We were looking for the low key, laidback atmosphere and this fits the bill perfectly, as good or better than any else in the area — and quiet with the individual bungalows.  The hotel is close to Duval St. — an easy 5 minute walk —  but not so close as to get all the hustle and bustle of being on the main street of the Old Town section.  We came here on a friend’s trusted recommendation, and would certainly extend our recommendation to anyone seeking the same vibe.
