This was a very quaint Inn and we really enjoyed it.  Would definitely stay again.

Pluses:  Clean and comfortable. Staff was very cordial and helpful. Convenient to the Duval Street and Old Town activities.

Minuses: Key West really needs to enforce a noise ordinance. Between the scooters and the Harley’s we had vehicles constantly blasting noise into our room at all hours of the day and night.

Lighthouse Court was the perfect location for two Senior Citizens – across from the Hemingway House and within walking distance of Duval St., excellent restaurants, and a trolley stop.  Staff were attentive and courteous, breakfast was ample with a special treat on Christmas morning.

One improvement would be to have a shelf or small stand in the bathroom of senior room providing a place for medicines and toiletries.

We loved our stay here. In fact it was an awesome experience! The staff was wonderfully helpful, the rooms unbelievably comfortable and the swimming pool area-breakfast setting was just awesome.

Mind you, the place is little bit away from Duval street. It was pretty dark at night if you decide to walk back (10-15min), but safe I think. We rented bikes and roamed the whole city that way. It is a waste of typing driving around as parking is very difficult to find in Key West.

The front desk staff recommended some excellent restaurants and places to see. You got to try the Paseo, a Caribbean sandwich place (closed Mon-Tues) about a block away.

I highly recommend staying here if you don’t mind the walking a little bit. Pros are – Good value for money, free street parking and a quiet neighborhood setting. Cons include – smaller sized rooms, no eggs for breakfast.

Highly recommend!

My wife and I traveled with 2 other couples to Key West over Christmas (Dec19-26) for a get away from the snow. We have been to Key West 3 times prior to this over the last 10 years.

The Cypress House was chosen as we stayed at The Lighthouse Court on a previous trip and it was a very nice hotel & part of the same chain of hotels.

We were extremely happy with the Cypress House. The staff there was very friendly from check-in to check-out. We enlisted their help several times for boat rentals, wheelchair rental & recommendations for activities. The hotel has a nice (albeit basic) free breakfast every day, served from 8-10 in the courtyard which is a nice way to start the day. They also have Happy Hour everyday around the pool at 5pm with a different selected drink served free and unlimited every day. This was lots of fun and the staff made the event a party each night.

We stayed in room #17, it was a huge second floor room and had a king bed, flat screen TV and a beautiful bathroom with a walk-in glass shower that would fit 6 people! The room also had a nice front porch to chill One of the other couples we travelled with stayed in room #1 and it was also a large beautiful room with a great big front porch where we met for drinks each afternoon to watch the world go by.

The hotel’s location is absolutely perfect!! Only 2 blocks from Duval and centrally located close to all the action on the water. The only issue may be that this location can be loud (due to morning traffic) however earplugs and/or white noise from the AC does a great job. They also have a parking area for scooters, which we rented for the week at the rental location one block from the hotel.

I highly recommend the Cypress House for couples especially. Lots of fun, great location & friendly staff, plus a little architectural history thrown in for fun.

Cheers!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on 12/24 and 12/25,  and the staff at Lighthouse Court was terrific. Regarding the property, one of our rooms (J2)  was very good, and our suite was not as good.  While the room was clean, it had a musty smell. We enjoyed the local sights, and especially would recommend a bike tour with Lloyd at Moped Hospital.

We had a great visit overall and would stay at the property again.

Thank You

This location was wonderful-perfectly situated in the middle of everything, yet still quiet and peaceful. The courtyard was great, loved the pool and the continental breakfast. Our guestroom was good for 4 of us, but a little noisy in the mornings with the breakfast carts going around us. The bathroom was in need of a slight renovation, but other than that, the unit was nice…it was also very Clean! The staff was wonderful…friendly and helpful…very nice! Overall very nice place.  We enjoyed our stay.

…. amazing is all I can say about our trip. Even so we only stayed for 2 days/1 night, we had the best time. The Key Lime Inn was great and we definitely will book  there again when we come back.  What will be soon :-)

Thank you,

Gabi

We had a great stay at your Inn and if we ever return to Key West we will stay at one of your hotels for sure!  The rooms were clean and your continental breakfast was perfect.  The staff was always very helpful and kind as well.  Please note that the following ‘complaints’ are very minor and only written to perhaps make another couple’s stay even better than ours was.

We stayed in room A8 which connects to a gate that enters the pool area.  The gate constantly slams and it is very annoying.  Perhaps something could be done to prevent it from being SO loud to its adjoining room.  The second complaint is also a noise issue.  There is a table and chairs set up right outside the bedroom window.  Every morning at 7:30 AM another couple sat in that same seat and we could hear EVERYTHING they were saying.  I’m sure they didn’t want us hearing their conversation and I know we did not want to be woken that early on our vacation.

That’s it!  Thank you again for making our honeymoon that much more perfect.

As we sit here in our Wisconsin home with the fireplace blazing in expectation of our first winter blizzard of the season, we are happy that we were able to enjoy the beautiful weather in the Florida Keys this past week.  We have actually stayed at The Merlin House, The Chelsea House and finally last week at the Key Lime Inn.  Your Inns are truly wonderful and it’s hard to actually choose a favorite.  We were in room #11 and the accommodations were fine.  One thing I would suggest is to perhaps have a full length mirror in the main bedroom as well as a bench at the foot of the bed for sitting.  Over-all our time in Key West was very enjoyable.  We also spent 2 nights in Key Largo at Dove Creek Lodge. This was our second year there as well and we were upgraded to a 1-bedroom suite which we truly appreciated.

I hope your Holidays are very happy and the New Year brings many blessings.  Enjoy your warm weather and your beautiful state!  We hope to stay with you again at one of your properties on our next visit to the Conch Republic.

Sincerely,

David & Leonita Loomans
