We decided to take a quick weekend trip to Key West and could not have been more happy with our experience here. Taking the Key West Express down couldn’t have been more convenient for this place.  Great room, great staff.  Highly recommended.

Our stay at the Chelsea House was excellent. From the moment we arrived the customer service was superb. Desiree at the front desk was able to provide us with locations and coupons for very good restaurants in the Key West area. Our room was above what we’d expected; very clean and modern looking.  My girlfriend liked the shampoo that was provided more than the type she brought. We went to the office to obtain more but they were out. We told Lyenna (Russian accent) not to worry about it but when we got back to our hotel that night there was a bag on our door knob containing more shampoo. This was unexpected and we were greatfull. We would stay here again and have already referred people to this hotel.

This will be our 2nd stay at Chelsea House (May29-Jun01), they gave us room #27, very spacious except for the bathroom a little small, rooms and property super clean, staff friendly and available when need it…location excellent. DID I MENTION THEIR STAFF WERE SUPER NICE. We came down to celebrate my 40th birthday, it was a great choice of hotel….we’ll love to stay there again in the future….

Our stay at Key Lime Inn was lovely. Nice employees and clean room. Location is very good, attractions are accessible by feet!

This is a great property and is in a great location.  Our room was clean, cool and quiet the entire stay.  Betsy was very pleasant and helpful at check in. The pool was nice and had plenty of sun or shade depending on what your preference is.

The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is I wish the breakfast had more on it with earlier hours and we had to ask about restocking beach towels and wash cloths (which was easy and was always resolved just didn’t like doing it). We  would not hesitate to stay here again.

We loved staying at the Merlin Guesthouse for our honeymoon.  Our king room was beautiful and the staff was very helpful.  The small breakfast in the morning was a great way to start our day!  If we venture back to Key West, we will definitely be staying at this location!

Last year, I stayed at the Lighthouse Court and enjoyed my stay, yet I must admit that as a single older man, the Merlin Guesthouse ranks considerably higher in my estimation. The reason is simple: an older clientele because of having only a spa pool.

The staff was outstanding and quite cordial. Linda always had a smile whether greeting or spending time sharing island information. Kenneth went out of his way to help around the outdoor seating and breakfast area. Yariel (not sure if I’m spelling her name correctly) from housekeeping seemed to never stop working except to initiate a greeting.

Room #4 was quite comfortable although the shower was a little difficult to manage due to its size. While I do not need a handicap-accessible room, I often encourage inns, hotels, etc. to install hand-held shower sprayers. The morning breakfast was quite nice to have, and it allowed me to engage in conversations with other guests.

My only other suggestion would be to investigate a place for a bike rack near the front entrance. I had an adult trike from Eaton Bikes (excellent people to deal with) and locked it by Room #15 on the rack. With any vehicle parked by the Petronia St. gate, it was very challenging to ingress and egress.

Overall, my stay was great. The Merlin Guesthouse fit my needs perfectly, and the staff was sensational. Thank you for having quality and affordable accommodations. Whenever I return to Key West, the Merlin Guesthouse will be my first choice!

We had a very nice time while in Key West and at your hotel. The property was very nice and clean. All of the staff was very helpful. Our favorite person in all of Key West was the Russian woman, Lyenna, who works for you. You are very lucky to fine such a nice girl. You could never fine a better person to replace her.
