The Key Lime Inn is a wonderful getaway location. The property is quintessential Key West Charm and the location is excellent.

My wife and I frequently come to Key West, at least once a year, and often more frequently. We have stayed at many places and some have been  “not as advertised” or deceptively photographed. Some have also been very run down, breakfasts have been very poor and the staff has been less than welcoming. None of the above apply to Merlin Guest House. We thoroughly enjoyed our recent 2 night stay there.

We found the property to be very well maintained, the rooms to be beautiful, very clean and as advertised, and the staff to be very cordial and helpful. We did not have the opportunity to enjoy the breakfast, but the shaded area where it is located is beautiful and it certainly looked delicious; certainly much better than most places that we have stayed at.

Absolutely the only reason that Merlin Guest House did not receive a 5 from us was the price, which was quite high. Having said that, we realize that other Historic hotels in Old Town and a short walk to Duval, were similarly priced.

Loved it!

I loved the Merlin Guest House.  The managers were friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed and the room was clean and comfortable.  It was far enough away from the touristy Mallory Square that it was quiet and felt like a real neighborhood.  Just a few blocks from the Hemingway Home and the Lighthouse.  Great location.

Chelsea House Hotel is a great place to stay in Key West! Beautiful rooms in a wonderfully treed area. Sun deck and pool are inviting and relaxing. Front desk staff is knowledgeable and helpful about tourist attractions and what’s going on in the area. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Easy to walk to shopping, restaurants and although a longer walk to the marina – you are in no hurry to get anywhere and plenty of places to stop and shop, drink, eat on the way! Cant wait to go back!

We stayed here for just one night and would have loved to stay longer. Quaint hotel with extremely friendly staff.  Small but quiet pool. Very close to downtown. Would recommend.

Our first visit to Key West and could not have been better. Loved the property, our king bed room with lanai on quiet back side, the pool, and location 3 short blocks from Duval St. All of the staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. Excellent continental breakfast with upscale, fresh choices. We walked everywhere but there were several convenient modes of transportation. Two favorite restaurants were El Meson De Pepe (Cuban), and Latitudes (Variety) located on Sunset Key but boat transport free with reservation.  We will definitely return. In the meantime we will spread our glowing recommendation for Key Lime Inn.

We had an amazing trip to Key West for my friends 40th! We stayed at the Chelsea House Hotel which was not only a great location but a wonderful hotel. The service was amazing, the pool, the breakfast – it could not have been better. Far enough from Duval Street that we weren’t in the middle of it all, but close enough to walk to the restaurants, bars and marina. We will be back to Key West and we’ll definitely stay at the Chelsea House again!

Very cozy and relaxing.  All of the staff members couldn’t be nicer and you couldn’t beat the location.   Never touched our car the whole we were there because everything was within walking distance.   Will definitely stay there again if we go back to the Keys.

We were greeted by Melanie who was as gracious and helpful as ever. The location is perfect right between Duval and the Schooner area. The entire staff and Daniel the Manager are fantastic! We’ve stayed here several times and plan on returning! Thank You

My husband and I chose Cypress House Hotel for our Honeymoon stay this May, and couldn’t be more pleased with our time. The location is central to Old Town, my favorite area of Key West. The room was very clean and comfortable and we were surprised to find a bottle of champagne with a hand written note of congratulations in our room upon check in. The staff were always warm and happy to assist with our requests. We also have family who live on the island and will consider Cypress House again on our next visit. Thank you for providing a great experience.
