My friends and I had the pleasure of staying at The Chelsea House on Oct. 11th for two nights.  We stayed in the “Attic”, due to the fact there were three couples.  What a wonderful time we all had.

From the moment that I made the reservations to the time we checked out we experienced true southern hospitality.  The property was clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and not to mention the private patio, what a way to wake up in Key West, sitting out enjoying coffee and good friends on our own private patio watching the sunrise.

What a beautiful property!  We did visit the other sister properties that are in the Historic Key west Inns collection because I myself was curious and I was happy to see that all of the properties were well maintained and staffed with friendly, helpful employees.

I will highly recommend any of the six Historic Key West Inns that you have to offer to any of my clients, and I am sure that my friends will be recommending them as well.  They are truly situated in prime locations throughout Key West.

Only one complaint we all had, we just wished we could of stayed longer.  But, we will be back.

Thank you for the perfect getaway!!!

We stayed in the corner room with a king bed. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and you could fit an army in the shower.

We booked our room with Scott who was also working when we arrived. He was extremely friendly and very helpful.
The pool was nice with a relaxing setting. There is a covered front porch with a swing and there are tables and chairs outside of the rooms on the second story porch as well. There was a daily complimentary egg breakfast and margaritas for happy hour. Parking is also pretty simple. You can look for nearby street parking, or park in the garage with a Cypress House pass displayed. This gets you a better price; about 10 bucks a day. You are two blocks from Duval St. which makes getting to restaurants, shops, museums, tours, and more (bars) very convenient. In the other direction is quick walk to the docks where you can explore several other shops, restaurants, boat charters, exhibits, live music, the Mel Fisher treasure display/shop. You can also see huge tarpon swimming and feed them here.

The Cypress House was an excellent choice for my girlfriend and I. We would highly recommend it. Thanks to everyone at the Cypress House, and a special thanks to Scott!

We booked the morning of our stay, reservationist was very helpful.   When we arrived, the check-in desk was a bit hectic, however all went smoothly with a little patience.   We had a one room cottage, was nice, clean and bed was very comfortable.  We had small issue with hair dryer, however the maid was awesome in quickly finding me a new one.   The pool was great, just right temperature and very clean.

Definitely would recommend to friends (already have in fact) and will stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Chelsea House. It’s so much nicer than staying at a big hotel chain. Quaint and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay at any of your properties when we return to Key West. Maybe add a hook or two for towels and bathing suits; would give guests the option to reuse towels and don’t throw out the shampoo and soap already being used. Thank you and we look forward to returning.

Went for my wife’s 40th. The place was perfect to just hang and relax, but so close to the action of Duval St. Could walk every where and they had a place to lock up our rented bikes. The room was great booked a king suite had more than enough space plus a large bathroom with a private porch under cover so we could sit outside during a rain storm. Breakfast every morning on the deck in the shade was great. I would tell all my friends to book this place. The best thing was once we walk our one block off Duval to the Guesthouse it was peaceful and quite.

This bed and breakfast was a home run for us and the group with whom we were traveling. We had a king size room, which was very spacious. I was a little concerned about the location, since we were across from the kitchen, but we did not hear any noise. Our room was at the front of the building, so we did experience noise from traffic throughout the night, which is not the fault of the B&B. The Cypress House is within walking distance to Duval Street, only two blocks, which is very convenient for shopping and dining. The rooms were cleaned promptly, everyday, and the breakfast was great. They had one hot option everyday, along with yogurt, fruit, cereal, muffins, etc. They also have happy hour from 6 – 7 pm and they have a drink of the day, along with vegetables, dip, chesse, crackers, and a hot item. We were there most nights for this, and it was fantastic. The staff were so accommodating. Every need we had, they fulfilled. When we needed extra towels, we had them immediately. They booked a jet ski excursion, and provided the towels for that. Our air conditioner stopped, in the middle of the night, and first thing in the morning, they were there to replace it. I cannot say enough about Eli, he was great to us, the entire time we were there, along with all the others, I cannot remember all their names. The B&B also has a pool, which we used numerous times. It was very humid the week we stayed in Key West, and this was great for cooling off at the end of the day. Based on the location, rooms, and service, I feel you get a lot for the price. If we return, I would definitely stay here again, and will certainly recommend it to others planning a trip to Key West.

I want to thank the staff for a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean, all staff were very pleasant. The front desk staff helped in finding activities and directions to get there. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Lighthouse Court Hotel. I hope to return to the Key West area and I would stay here again!

Stayed here for 7 days. Had no problems. when we arrived they upgraded us to a King room at no charge. Each day hotel staff came in made the bed put new towels out and cleaned the room. Stayed right in the pool courtyard and did not hear anyone. Staff always kept everything full even up to 10:00 when people were still eating. The location is incredible 5 or so blocks to the south was the southern most point and 12 blocks the other way to Mallory Square. We walked everywhere in 10-15 minutes. Hotel staff did great job when we needed directions or questions about an attraction. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Key West. We will definitely stay here again.
