We booked our reservation at the last minute during the Memorial Day holiday weekend.  To our surprise, a pet friendly room was available.  The entire staff/team were so amazing.  The room was up to date, very clean and stocked with nice toiletries.  Our pets were like guests to the staff.  We can’t thank you enough for a wonderful weekend and will definitely see you again in the near future.  Becky was extremely courteous and friendly.

To start off, we were welcomed to Key West with a room upgrade (we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary). The staff who greeted us and checked us in were absolutely helpful in every respect (where to eat, how to get there,  etc.), and the room was perfect!

We’d also like to give a special thanks to Michealle (sp) – she was so sweet (found the Pomagranite Tea and suggested adding honey when making Iced Tea).

We are already planning our next trip down  – please keep doing what your doing!

We stayed at Chelsea House Memorial Day weekend, 2014.  I was the Bride!  We had 12 members of our family with us to witness the ceremony at Sunset Key on Sunday, 5/25.

The staff at Chelsea House could NOT have been more friendly, congratulatory and accommodating.  From check-in to check-out, they took extra care to ensure that we were happy – and we were!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the amenities (breakfast, pool) at the hotel, and it was the perfect size for our group – intimate without being overcrowded.

The location of Chelsea House is ideal – a short walk to Duval Street, but far enough that you don’t feel like you are on Spring Break – never woken up by any noises, etc.

We had perfect weather and an absolutely wonderful time.  Ironically, my “new husband” and I were just discussing this morning - unprompted – how perfectly the Chelsea House worked out for us.

Thank you so much for making our Wedding/Vacation a memorable success!

This was a test for my husband who had previously only stayed at regular brick and mortar type facilities.  He loved it!  The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the king size room was spacious and clean and the location was fantastic.  We parked our car and never saw it again until we left.  We’ll definitely go back!

We were greeted with a room upgrade by the great ladies working the front desk. The room was lovely, the grounds were beautiful, the location was perfect. Just close enough to down town for walking and just far enough away to be quiet and peaceful.  We got lucky enough to have a parking space :)We only had one night to stay but would have loved to have spent more time! I had seen people complain about the price but it’s what you pay for the area and we made a good choice. Wonderful place.

We stayed at the Merlin Guesthouse and were really impressed with the cleanliness of the room and friendly staff. We are looking to go back for a 5 to 6 nights stay at the end of June and will definitely consider Merlin Guesthouse again as our first choice when we start shopping for rooms.

Though we have been to Key West before this was our first stay at Cypress House. Danielle did a great job of welcoming us and checking us in quickly. We loved room 17 with its spacious and comfortable surroundings-wow what a huge shower. Barbara did a super job of taking care of our room-she was so friendly and efficient. The breakfasts and liming hours were fabulous–great food, a chance to meet others and relax.  We would surely tell others of our great experience at Cypress House.

My wife and I visited Key West for the first time on May 14. Even before we arrived the staff was above and beyond when I called to inform them we’d be arriving late, they told me what time the office closed and personal phone number if I arrived after hours.   Arriving tired and a little miffed at the airline loosing our luggage, the clean, well stocked room was more than a little welcome.

The staff made sure our luggage was delivered the next day and were also instrumental in recommending various attractions and even arranged for a taxi pickup and the trip to the Dry Tortugas. Breakfast was always wonderful and social as was meeting around the swimming pool in the afternoons.

As first timers we toured Duval Street, saw the sunset on Mallory square, drank Cuban coffee and took in the sights, sounds, smells and touch that is Key West. I can’t recall an single unfriendly or disrespectful individual during our entire stay. Eating at the Conch Republic Restaurant was something I’ll always remember, even with the bum hitting me up for a dollar for a beer. He too was polite and honest about what he wanted my money for.

We’d love to come back to Key West and unless something drastic happens, we”ll stay at the Key Lime Inn.

My wife and I truly enjoyed our short stay in Key West.  Staying at the Key Lime Hotel was a fantastic bonus!  Our check-in was flawless.  We arrived later in the evening, looking for a good meal and were given several great pieces of information regarding things to see and do within walking distance.  The room was nicely appointed, clean and fresh.  The complimentary breakfast was a plus and a great way to begin our day.  The housekeeping staff was wonderful and our check-out was seamless.  Great memories were made in Key West!

A couple negatives would be the parking and the second story accommodations. We drove down and had chosen to stay at Key Lime because parking was included and convenient.  We found the only spot left on the night of our arrival and left our car parked for the duration.  Because of the gravel lot, there were no parking “lines/guides” and several vehicles took more than one space. I realize this is not the hotels fault regarding overparking a space but, perhaps it’s an area that can be looked into since parking is such a premium on the island.

As far as the second story accommodations, we didn’t realize there would not be an elevator available.  Thankfully, we were okay to climb stairs but, occasionally, my wife has trouble with her knees and this could have been a disaster for us on this trip.  Perhaps someone from staff could contact a guest prior to their visit to make sure that second story accommodations would work for them.

Those were really the only two “negatives” from our stay and both would not keep us from staying there again when we return for perhaps a longer visit.

Thank you for the lovely hotel within walking distance to so many restaurants and attractions.

Cypress House is in a fantastic location, we walked everywhere we wanted to go.  All the staff were nice, helpful and cheery.  The king room w/ porch was wonderful.  We were actually a couple doors down from the main house (#21), which was fine, it felt like we were in our own house.  The only thing I would change is the breakfast, we ended up eating breakfast out 4 of the 5 days.
