Just got back from Key West last night and was so thrilled with the accommodations at the Key Lime Inn. I really didn’t know what to expect as I usually stay in larger chain hotels. What a pleasure to be a few short steps to the lobby, the pool and my room. We were lucky enough to have one of the rooms right off the pool ’36′ and the location was perfect. The girls at the front desk were especially helpful with recommendations for sightseeing, eating and any other requests. Key Lime Inn is the only place I would stay in Key West.

The Merlin Guesthouse is a beautiful place to stay. Close yet far enough from Duval Street’s action. Everything was well maintained and all the staff was responsive and helpful at all times. We loved our stay there and look forward to another visit!

Our stay at the Cypress house was wonderful.  The room was beautiful and clean.

Nice porch right off the room.  Enjoyed relaxing and having a cocktail right off our room.

I wish we could have stayed longer.  I would stay again without hesitation.

The morning breakfast was nice and had comfortable surroundings.

Our first visit to Key West was to celebrate a milestone birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful, and our room was lovely and comfortable. A great breakfast was served in the charming courtyard, where we got to meet and mingle with other guests. The hotel’s central location allowed us to park our car and walk everywhere. We would definitely return to the Albury Court Hotel.

I would highly recommend this lovely Inn.

The pool area and gardens are beautiful, rooms are spotless. There is free parking also, the free continental breakfast was great.

Location is perfect, just a short walk and you are at Duval Street.

Don’t miss this Inn when in Key West!

I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and the historical setting. The rooms were updated nicely. They were small, but it was to be expected for a historical property. The front desk staff was exceptional and very helpful and accommodating. I really like the historical properties and to make it the best stay will request a larger room. Everything else was perfect! The continental breakfast was just enough to get us through to lunch. The muffins were fabulous. Parking was free. Two blocks from Duval, although it was a short walk to night life. Can’t say enough good things about the staff! Thanks again!

Upon arriving at the Merlin Guesthouse we were just in awe at how secluded and serene everything was, from the pool deck, to the hammock and lush landscape.  We could have not asked for a more awesome place to stay especially considering it’s less than a 3 minute walk to Duval St.  The ladies made us feel very welcomed and were not afraid to have fluent conversations which makes you feel like friends. The housekeeping staff was fabulous and always came to freshen up while we were out. A special treat for me was the fantasist breakfast better than what most hotels offer their guest. Be sure to pet the sweet cat of whom I absolutely adored during my stay when I missed my own from home!

We are loyal Marriott travelers, so it was a leap of faith to bypass our usual home away from home and take a chance on any other option, let alone the unique experience Cypress House has to offer. We also usually temper our expectations when it comes to island accommodations – it is just a different experience than what you would get in a big city (hence the reason for skipping on the Key West “Marriott”).

However, our expectations were exceeded at the Cypress House! We stayed in Room 11 and it was decorated beautifully! The hard wood floors, the chic decor, the high ceilings with crown molding, the modern bathroom with the incredible open shower…perfect!

The front office staff was very welcoming, holding our bags until the room was ready (we arrived very early) and offering suggestions as to where we might grab some lunch. Alexander was particularly helpful and made us feel welcome.

The common area where the “liming” was held was very calm and relaxing and very nicely attended to, as well. The breakfast and the drinks and snacks during the liming were a nice touch. The kitchen is shared, but it is very nice.

Other than the wonderful accommodations at the Cypress House, you will be in the perfect location for all of your Key West must-see’s. It is walking distance from the cruise terminals and the Key West Express, walking distance to the lively Duval St. and Mallory Square. Yet, tucked away enough so that you can have your peace when you need it. A short bike ride takes you to Zachary Taylor Park (the beach), the Southernmost Point, The Little White House, the Hemingway Home and everything else that Key West has to offer!

We enjoyed our stay at the Cypress House, thoroughly. No complaints. No regrets! We will be visiting again!

Very clean, stylish and comfortable room in a charming, small hotel literally a stone’s throw from Duval Street and a short walk from the sea. Very friendly and helpful staff, easygoing atmosphere. Breakfast is a little limited, but adequate. Bedroom was very comfortable. Would definitely come back when next in Key West.
