We stayed for a relaxing 6 nights at the Cypress House recently.  We found the staff to be very hospitable, the grounds to be neatly groomed and breakfast & happy hour to be just right.  This was our first stay, but will definitely make a return visit.   The accommodations are in close proximity to all the Key West hot spots, but completely quiet after retiring for the night.  We appreciate you making our respite fun and look forward to seeing everyone again soon.  Thank you!

Hello. Had a wonderful stay at Key Lime Inn,  and yes we would go back.  Michelle at the front desk was very nice and helpful, the room was nice but the floor was rough in some spots and the bathroom could be spruced up more. The pool area was nice and the breakfast was good.  We really enjoyed the sunset cruise on the Fury.  We would recommend the Key Lime Inn.  Thank you

We booked our room for The Songwriters Festival and were very satisfied with our room and the staff. The room was very comfortable and the property offered us a chance to relax after the festivities on Duval. The pool with the waterfall was especially relaxing. The staff was very good, always saying hello to us with a smile. The location was especially great, a short walk to Duval and a short walk to the Schooner Wharf, which is one of our favorite places. We are planning to stay with the Historic Key West Inns hotels on our next visit.

We had a nice stay in a small house in the gardens of this historic inn. It is very central, so you do everything by foot or bike, but it is not loud there.  The rooms are very nice, modern and clean. The staff is very helpful und friendly, we were really treated as guests. Complementary coffee lounge und cooled ice tea.

We would choose this hotel again, a nice stay.

My wife and I came to Key West to celebrate her birthday and our 41st wedding anniversary.  We had never stayed in Old Town before.  The location was terrific.  We could easily walk to Duval Street and the conch train stop.  We enjoyed touring the Hemingway House across the street and the Truman Little White House.  Our accommodations met our expectations for location, cleanliness, and amenities.

I had never been to Key West before, so I appreciated the easy drive from the airport to Chelsea House, as well as, the walkable location to Duval Street and the sights. The pool is wonderful in the morning (with palm trees overhead!), and the breakfast is perfect. The staff are friendly and professional, and as I said, the location is ideal. I’ll be back for sure.

I loved it.  We only had one night but it was perfect!  The room was beautiful. The bed was super comfy.  I loved the big porches and the garden.  The bath was a little small but still nice, I wish we didn’t have to leave so early in the morning so we could sample the breakfast, we heard it was amazing!  Thanks for the great stay!

Where to begin…

This year, my boyfriend and I took our first vacation alone together. We had been planning for months and were very excited. We arrived to the Key Lime Inn where we were greeted by very friendly front desk staff on a Monday afternoon. We spent the rest of the day shopping and had a wonderful dinner at the Conch Republic Seafood Company.

The next morning, while getting ready for the day, my boyfriend had a seizure. He has never had a seizure before I was terrified. I called 911 who immediately came to retrieve him. While still in shock and trying to figure out where the hospital was even located, I received a call from the front desk. The woman was extremely sweet. She informed me that she had gotten me a cab and it was waiting outside. I was more than grateful.

We got back from the ER late that afternoon. I will admit I was slightly freaked out even being in the same room where his seizure happened. When we returned, the amount of care and concern from the hotel staff was more than I could have ever imagined. Everyone was so wonderful. Anytime they saw us for the next two days they went out of their way to ask us how were doing and see how my boyfriend was feeling. They even gave me some fruit the day we got back as my boyfriend hadn’t eaten.

One staff member my boyfriend and I will never forget was Clement. He went out of his way numerous times just to say hello and make sure we were doing okay. He really made us feel welcome. Check out was also great, the women at the front desk were sweet and even wrote my boyfriend a postcard.

After everything that happened, my boyfriend and I felt like we would never want to go Key West or the Key Lime Inn again in order to forget the memory of his seizure, but after the AMAZING service and genuine care and concern we received from the employees we would be crazy not to.

Thank you Key Lime Inn. You made a very scary experience for my boyfriend and I a little more comfortable. You made us feel like appreciated guests. It is scary to be away from other family and friends when incidents like this occur but the Key Lime Inn staff treated us with the same kindness and care that family would.

We spent three nights in April at the Merlin Guesthouse and found it to be clean and well maintained. We stayed in Room 16 which is an upstair king suite. The room was larger than we expected and had a large sitting area with a sectional sofa and 42″ flatscreen tv.  It also had a private deck and was in a quiet location.

The inn is near the activity on Duvall Street but far enough away to avoid the noise.  It is within walking distance of all the attractions on Key West. The management and staff was friendly and helpful.  We would definitely stay there again.
