I admit that I was skeptical when we switched hotels for our annual trip to Key West but the Lighthouse Court Hotel was the perfect choice. All of the staff, from the groundskeeper to the front desk clerks were warm, friendly, efficient, and helpful. The rooms have been renovated and have top notch bedding, towels, and notions. The pool area is a wonderful oasis. I could have spent my week just sitting by the pool, sipping drinks, and reading.

We look forward to returning next year to this gem.

This was our third time at this hotel. As before, everything was perfect. Really enjoy the poolside breakfasts and afternoon cocktails. Staff is great and the room was perfect. We will be back!

My wife and I had a wonderful ten day stay in Key West. Alot of it due to the great experience at the Cypress House. We were very well taken care of daily by the staff there. We were seeking peace and quiet and a bit of fun also and location was perfect. Close enough to the Duval nightlife and far enough away for that relaxing evening atmosphere at the quieter spots. Thanks to all at the Cypress House.

Although it was a short stay, our visit to Key West was so nice, knowing we were staying in such a pleasant hotel. The Lighthouse Court Hotel was centrally located. We were just blocks from The Southernmost Point, the beautiful sunset at Mallory Square, and just across the street from the Hemingway House.

We arrived on December 15, 2014, from Dania Beach, FL,  just about an hour and a half before check in, and we were told our room was ready. We stayed in B3. It was clean, roomy enough for the two of us. And the bed was very comfortable.

We walked around and enjoyed the shops on Duval St. , just a block away. Then we enjoyed dinner at the Conch Republic Seafood Company. After, we made our way to the Sunset Pier Grill and experienced fabulous music, and the gorgeous Key West sunset.

In the morning, the Continental Breakfast was, really, just what we needed. The offering of coffee, juice, local pastries, and fruit was nicely served.

We will, for sure, return to the Lighthouse Court Hotel, and recommend this hotel.

As always, our stay was fantastic! Check-in and check-out were both a breeze; the front desk clerk went out of his way to help us with our bags, and even though my husband and I are return guests, he took the time to point out the property’s  amenities and changes to the local area. It was like coming home! Our room was spacious and clean. I have already recommended the hotel to friends who will be going to Key West in February. Also, during this visit we went to Santiago’s for dinner and had a great time. Can’t wait to go back!

Upon check in we were immediately greeted by a cheery gentleman at the front desk. Although we arrived five hours before the guaranteed check in time he made sure to contact housekeeping and make sure our room was next on the list to prepare. He also securely stored our luggage in the lobby and provided directions to the parking deck. We had enough time to have lunch on Duval Street, which is just two blocks away, before our room was ready. To our surprise we received a complimentary upgrade to a king room for our two night stay. The rooms have been carefully upgraded and restored to highlight the historic structure while providing crisp modern accents and amenities. Our favorite part of the grounds was the covered patio off the office and the pool area which is surrounded by lush vegetation and comfortable furniture. This is also where the complimentary breakfast and happy hour with appetizers is served! We were able to walk or ride our bikes to everything we wanted to see in Key West and did not move the car until it was time to check out which was as easy as turning in our keys and saying goodbye. The Cypress House Hotel offers a great boutique experience just minutes from ALL that Key West has to offer. We will definitely be back and definitely recommend the Cypress House to anyone planning to visit the area.

We stayed at the Lighthouse Court Hotel right across from the Hemingway house and beside the Lighthouse.  We walked up and down Duval St all day on Friday and used the hotel as a nice stopping point since it was 1 block off Duval.  Took a nice break in the hot afternoon and swam in the cool pool and had a few frozen mixed drinks from the Mojito Bar.  Hotel and Bar staff were all very nice.  Room was spacious with a very nice updated bathroom.  Grounds of hotel were so beautiful.  The pillows were not good and needed to be replaced, that was my only complaint.  The staff made note of it and said they would replace them.

Great location: far enough to avoid the noise of Duval but close enough to make some of your own. Staff was fantastic: worked with us for an early check-in. Room was great and the property is beautiful. All around perfect experience.

Easy check in, parking is hard to find so take the suggestion by the check-in clerk to get a parking pass.

Informative staff made it easy to get started on our stay in a new town.

Great location to roam the streets of Key West.

They arranged hassle free bicycle pickup, being that we left early in the morning.

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, located in heart of Key West.

Marcie and I will come back to the Cypress House on our next visit to Key West.

Yes, we would recommend the Cypress House to our friends.
