Pat and I spent a wonderful, relaxing week with our two little dogs at the Chelsea House and Gardens.  The accommodations and staff were much more than we could have hoped for.  A very central location in Old Town, and near everything we came to see and do.

The room with a king bed, refrigerator, seating area, storage space and big TV were just like home – very comfortable and relaxing.  The Victorian architecture of the cottages and in the surrounding area was reminiscent of our favorite retreat in Western New York at the Chautauqua Institurion.

Of course, there was a wider variety of places to go and things to do in Old Town.  Every night a swim in the pool and a cigar on the cottage porch were the perfect ending to the day’s activities.

Our favorite place to eat was the pet friendly martini bar at Martin’s – a break from the loud music and excellent food and wait staff.

My fiance and I came down to Key West last month to start planning our wedding.  We stayed at Albury Court, and we loved it!!  It was such a cute, nice, clean room, and everyone was so friendly!  It was also nice that it was only about a 10 minute walk to Duval Street.  We have already told all of our friends who are coming to our wedding about Albury Court, and I’m sure we will be back before then as well!  Also, while cruising around the island, we saw a bunch of the other Historic Key West Inns hotels, and they were all so cute!

While in Key West, you must go to a little cuban restaurant called El Siboney.  It is delicious, and if i remember correctly, not too far from the hotel!  (i could be totally wrong about that, we were driving scooters, and i was completely turned around).  I can’t wait to come back to Key West, and stay at one of the historic Key West Inns!  And I can’t wait for my friends to stay there too!

We really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere, the people at the front desk are helpful and curteous.  The rooms are very nice and clean.  The pool is very nice and we really enjoyed the included breakfast.  Very relaxing.  We recommend it highly.

Inn was an excellent choice. Peaceful. Distances to all places to see is central. Breakfast are selections of healthy choices. Will definitely come back again and will recommend to others. Proximity to scooter and electric car rentals. Close to excellent restaurants. Just across from the church and the cemetery. Great location.

Wonderful staff, beautiful room with balcony and upscale finishes, attention to detail was terrific, it felt like we were visiting with old friends and it was our first time! We had a great time on the sunset sail & snorkel package we booked through them too.

Our favorite restaurant is Seven Fish on Duval and we had drinks at Louie’s Backyard to watch the sun going down.

This was our first visit to Key West and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The Key Lime Inn was the perfect “home base” for our time there. Our King suite was comfortable and clean and we enjoyed the visit from the rooster while we sat on our private deck. The pool area was clean and surprisingly quiet, given its proximity to the street. The Inn is within walking distance of restaurants, shopping and attractions. Can’t wait to return!

“Duffy’s”, a few blocks away was very good, but “Black Fin” on Duval provided us with one of the best meals we have had in some time…and we eat out a lot! The service was attentive and friendly, without being intrusive, and the food was fantastic. It was my first time having grouper and it did not disappoint. Our server’s description of the fish was bang-on. Everything was perfectly seasoned and attractively presented.

My favourite activity was shopping and bar hopping! We were there during spring break and the kids we encountered (we are in our late 50′s) were fun, energetic, very respectful of others and hugely entertaining!

I believe this is our sixth stay at the Key Lime Inn. We love it here very much! My daughter loves swimming in the pool. We all love sitting on the wooden swing under that beautiful tree. Every year that we come, we take pictures on that swing and in the hammock as well. We love having a nice breakfast by the pool. We always seem to have such a welcoming and accommodating staff, always ready to help out. My only recommendation would be to offer a little more variety at the breakfast bar.

Pepe’s is so good. We had a panko-crusted grouper sandwich with Asian coleslaw that was out of this world. We go to Pepe’s every time that we are in Key West. We love the food.

The Dry Tortugas is beautiful and a “must see” on your Key West vacation. Take the Yankee Fleet, they’re the best!

We had a wonderful time in Key West and while staying at the Key Lime Inn. I found the staff to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful. In particular a young lady, Micheall, went the extra mile for us and helped arrange transportation, dispensed great advice on tours, historic sites to visit and evening entertainment. We had a great time and highly recommend the Key Lime Inn and look forward to our next stay.

The Key Lime Inn is not only full of character but is centrally located around all there is to experience in Key West. We brought our bicycles and were able to lock them up at the hotel to their bike rack. Everything was within walking distance which was awesome! The staff were friendly and the rooms were very clean – we were delighted with our experience!!

Island Time Charters – a must! We had a fun-filled day of non-stop fishing and we even caught a 120lb Nurse shark!! Jamie Merkel was full of KW history knowledge! You have to take time to wander around on Duval – we had our own little crawl and have a ton of video and photos of laughter and fun!
