We always stay at the Chelsea House when we’re in Key West.  We’ve tried other places, but always end up back at the Chelsea.  The staff is incredibly nice & accommodating.  The walk to Duval is 5 minutes away.  The grounds & pool are so relaxing that you don’t want to leave.  Already looking forward to our next visit!

Me and my husband drove in from Miami for a one night stay at Key Lime Inn and I am glad we chose this place to stay. We were very warmly welcomed by the super friendly staff and the room was ready for us to check in! We also got an upgrade to a poolside room which was fantastic and super neat and clean.

The wifi was great and all in all a great experience. Would surely come back for more days!

Thanks key lime for making our stay comfortable and fun!

We went to Key West for my birthday and Lobsterfest. We found the Inn to be in a great and convenient location. Relaxing grounds with a pool, hammock and swing. Loved our private cottage and porch. Definitely will be back!

I usually stay at one of the national brand hotels to get points, I travel to Key West from FT Lauderdale at least 5 times a year both for business & pleasure. This trip was business it was a last minute trip and everything was booked, I found the Key Lime Inn and was pleasantly surprised, everything was great! Clean, crisp and friendly. I will be sure to book one of your properties on all future trips!

My husband and I have been enjoying the Merlin for so many years.  Linda and Ken are always great and are always accommodating. Mr. Jordan is a major plus….such a cutie. If you should ever feel the need to change things up, do not touch room 20. That’ll forever be our favorite. The housekeeping staff is very attentive and friendly. The Merlin is our home away from home and we hope for many more visits to come. See you soon!

Hi, it isn’t easy to put down one’s experiences judging hotels, motels or B&B’s, but since I stuck my neck out persuading my bicycle buddies to trust me on picking lodging for Key West, we all came away with a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

The front dest from check in to after hours gave information that helped us enjoy Key West’s gems. From Tiki Bars to restaurants and more local walking distance shops, we felt confident being directed to great spots.

The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. What really hit the spot was being able to sit upstairs on the porch roof. Breakfast was a treat siting poolside and sharing information with the company of fellow travelers. The one other thought was how convenient the hotel was located for our needs. Especially the laundromat!

Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend in Key West at the Lighthouse Court Hotel. There was a small issue we felt with our room which was C-1. The unit is set up with the bedroom in one small room then a narrow hallway into the tv room with a kitchenette. The problem we had was that the AC unit would really only cool the bedroom leaving the rest of the room a lot warmer and in the TV room just plain hot and unbearable during the day. We told the person up front about this and they said they would send us a fan but it never came. Wish the TV was in the bedroom as well as we love to fall asleep watching TV at night. We did really enjoy our stay however and would be inclined to stay there again but would not like that particular room.

My friend and I planned a last minute trip to Key West. We are both in college so to say we were on a budget would be an understatement. After looking for hours at different places and reviews we decided to stay at the Chelsea House. We couldn’t have been more pleased. The room was clean, the location was perfect and best of all for us it was economical. The breakfast was also a pleasant surprise in the morning, plenty of choices.

I would highly recommend the Chelsea House to anyone traveling to KW. I am already looking into planning a return trip.

We stayed for 2 nights in August. Our first room had a problem with the door lock- we told the desk and were moved immediately to an upper floor room facing the street. It was great! Clean and comfy. The people at the front mentioned it might be noisy from the street traffic but it didn’t bother us at all. The happy hour had a nice selection of snacks and drinks. Breakfast was good- set up in the kitchen off the pool area. We found the place to be comfortable and the staff welcoming and helpful.

The Cypress House was a nice place to stay. Location was great! Very close to Duval. Our room was on the third floor. It was very clean, bright and pretty large with a large bathroom. A/C was a window unit which worked well to cool the room. It was 89 degrees and humid outside. The pool is large for a Key West inn. Most are very small and theirs is a good size while still surrounded by island plants and trees. The  front staff was super nice! We got to the inn very early in the day, well before check-in time, but the staff showed us around and welcomed us to enjoy all the property until our room was ready, and we felt genuinely welcome. The hallway of the Cypress House is not air conditioned. Of course, this is an old inn so I can’t say this is a negative, just wanted to note. The only real negative for us was the very loud street noise. Our room was on the corner closest to a busy intersection and on the third floor. Again, no fault of the inn, just wanted to mention in case future visitors are light sleepers.  Overall, it was a nice stay and I would stay there again.
