After driving for 7 hours straight to get to Key West, in the middle of humid and hot July, me and my boyfriend were exhausted, but we still found the way to The Lighthouse Court Hotel without effort. It’s right across from the Hemingway House and looks like the tropical paradise. We even found a parking space right in front of the hotel!

At the front desk we were met with a smile and a very helpful attitude. Check-in and check-out was perfectly brief and easy. When we asked for sights to see we got tons of suggestions – all good ones! (I’m sorry I don’t remember the managers name, she was truly wonderful!)

The room was a bit small and didn’t have a mini fridge, but it was spotlessly clean, inviting and very comfortable. We didn’t mind the size since we were in Key West to see the sights, not to hang out in the hotel – which we easily could have done at this place. It was the perfect spot for us with it’s beautiful 19th century buildings, palm trees and a lovely pool area. We actually didn’t want to leave the hotel.

Since we only stayed one night I can’t comment on the housekeeping but can’t imagine anything less than perfect.

I would love to stay there again and will surely do so if I come back to Key West. I sincerely recommend The Lighthouse Court to anyone going to Key West, but especially couples or smaller groups.

There’s no better place to stay in Key West than the Cypress House.  There is a daily hot breakfast and daily liming hour (aka: the art of doing nothing) included.  Alexander allowed me to park in his parking spot twice.  Chris delivered frosty pops to me as I lounged around the pool.  Chris also helped us secure our trolley passes, told us to check out Pepe’s and pointed us to the library for more Key West history.  Dennis was phenomenal and also shared Key West history with us.  Scott was funny and insisted we leave our dirty dishes and wet towels strewn about to ensure his job security for cleaning up after us pesky tourists.  We refused to listen being the stubborn Americans we are.  Scott shared that Europeans follow his directions so much better than we do.  The Cypress House is historic with character and beautiful gardens and the rooms have a modern clean European feel.  The location is ideal in the north end of old town.  We plan on returning and staying at the Cypress House again – this is truly the best place to stay, best location, best service and the only place to embrace “liming hour” – the art of doing nothing every evening at 4:30pm.

After a failed trip to Boston, my husband and I made impromptu plans to head to our favorite island getaway.  The reservationist was warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable.  She was able to get us an upgraded room for an affordable price. The whole booking process was excellent!  Upon our arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff and a large, clean, cool room.  All in all, our stay was excellent.  Our only suggestion is to increase the variety and quality of the breakfast.  I’m a vegetarian and was disappointed when I bit into what I thought was a cheese danish and ended up with a mouth full of ham. The muffins were good, but the orange juice was little more than flavored water.  Other hotels I’ve stayed at in Key West had waffles and other “hot” options.  Still, breakfast wasn’t a deal breaker.  Our room was always cold and our bed was comfortable.  At the end of a long hot day, it was perfect.  The pool was warm and inviting, the water pressure in the shower was great, and the tv was adequate.  Check out was as easy (if not easier) than check in. Parking was a definite plus!  Thank you for a great vacation!

P.S. The ghost never showed in room 26.  No complaints!  :-)

Great service, perfect location, very private. Free parking was a plus. We usually stay at La Concha on Duval street but this time we were looking for something more historical Key West style. The staff was very friendly, our room was ready from early in the morning so we did an early check in. Michele (we believe was her name) at the front desk was very kind and helped us with everything we needed. Next time we go to Key West we will definitely stay at The Key Lime Inn!!!!

I recently went on a trip to Key West with my girlfriend, this was our second time staying at the Key Lime Inn. The first time we stayed it was a smaller room, but this time there was a bigger room available and a king size bed which we were excited about, plus we got a credit off the room because we were returning guests. When we arrived the room was clean and very roomy.  The staff  at the check in office were very friendly, they gave us a cocktail discount card for a 2 for 1 at another of their hotels right up the street, even though we lost the card while we were out shopping and sight-seeing we were able to call the front desk and they were able help us in that situation on what to do. On Thursday morning we left the room about 10am to go to breakfast and have some fun on Duval street. We returned to the room around 3:30pm and our room wasn’t cleaned yet, we didn’t care so much about that but we needed fresh towels. So we went to the front desk and told a woman that was working in the office what had happened. Claudine was awesome! She apologized over and over, we waited by the pool while housekeeping tended to our room, which we didn’t mind because we love the pool/pool area. Literally 10 minutes and Claudine came out to inform us that our room was spotlessly cleaned, our bed was made, and we had fresh towels and apologizing again. We were even surprised with two glasses and a bottle of amazing champagne! The whole experience was great especially nice since it was our birthday week. Even when we checked out they informed us that there was an availability if we wanted to stay another night, we appreciated that we were offered that. I will continue to recommend Key Lime Inn to family and friends. We love it there.

The Cypress House was a wonderful place to stay during our recent trip to Key West. The location was so close to Duval Street and the marinas, we did not need to drive at all during our stay.  The rooms were beautiful with hardwood floors, plush bedding, and plenty of room to store clothes. Each room on the property was immaculately kept and well maintained. Each staff member that we encountered was pleasant and more than willing to lend a helping hand. They were very helpful in navigating around the area and provided maps and directions without qualm. The well-rounded breakfast offered each morning allowed even the pickiest of eaters to find something  delightful. Cypress House is an incredible property and I will definitely be recommending this Inn to my family and friends. I look forward to staying at this property during my own future ventures to Key West.

My husband and I traveled with another couple and made the journey down to the Keys – the first time for all of us. Check in was good –  I don’t recall the name of who helped us but she was very informative. Parking was a little difficult but we managed. Our room was just big enough, the property was lush and the pool was very inviting.  The staff was very polite and considerate- opening doors for us when they saw us struggling  with our bags. Complimentary breakfast was nice too but the guys would have liked a waffle or some bacon.  It was great to have the Lighthouse Museum and Ernest Hemingway house so close  as we ventured to both, but got around on scooters the rest of our stay. We made every attempt to see /explore everything and would definitely  recommend the hotel to friends and family. The only downfall was waking up to the neighbors roosters at 4 am, but overall had a great time.
