My boyfriend and I stayed at the Cypress House Hotel in March 2016 for one night.  Following the grueling 4.5 hour drive from Hollywood, FL we were delighted to find the quaint hotel and lucked out with a parking spot out front.  The check-in process was very easy and the front desk was incredibly helpful – they even walked back to our car with us to ensure we were ok on our parking spot.  The room we had was fantastic – the décor was wonderful, bed was comfortable, and it was just the right temperature to cool us off.  We attended the happy hour and breakfast and were pleased with both.  The hotel’s location is great – easy access to Duval Street and Mallory Square area with tons of good restaurants nearby.  We agreed we definitely want to return to Key West for a longer stay and plan on staying with the Cypress House when we do.

We had a great stay at the Chelsea House Hotel for St. Patrick’s Day 2016. We arrived a few hours early but were still able to check in, which was nice. The room was clean and comfortable and the air conditioner was nice and cold. A bit pricey for the size, but on par with other similar properties on Key West for the time of year. Staff were all very engaging and pleasant. We did not have a car, as we took the ferry from Ft. Myers, so parking was not an issue. There did appear to be plenty of available parking. We were able to rent bikes just a few blocks from the hotel. This I highly recommend. The bikes allowed us to easily traverse Duval from end to end in no time, and we could chain them up pretty much anywhere. There is a desert-only restaurant within walking distance named “Better Than Sex.” If you have a chance to get a table there (it can be tough), take it.

I would stay at the Chelsea House again…

Had a wonderful time at the Lighthouse Court Hotel! Came to town for 2 nights and found it be quite charming. “Gary Cooper” the hotel cat welcomed us at check in and we were assisted by Jim who explained the parking situation, luckily we were able to get a spot in the back for our entire stay. Our room was cozy clean and the hotel location is perfect for roaming on Duval St. Used a 2 for 1 coupon for a Mojito at the pool bar and was able to enjoy my friends wedding while being taken care of by the staff.  We had a great time!

We recently stayed at the Lighthouse Court Hotel, and had an overall great experience. Staff was very friendly and attentive, and the accommodations were clean and adequate. The location was convenient, as we basically walked everywhere we wanted to go.

It was also kind of fun to meet and spend time with the hotel cat, Gary. Can’t quite say the same about whatever rooster was waking us up at 3 a.m. with his crowing!

I stayed for 3 nights while in Key West for Spring Break.  I chose the hotel based on price, location, and the photos posted online.

The room was good-sized, very clean, charming, and comfortable.  I liked the way there were good eateries within walking distance and Duval St. was nearby and walkable. I didn’t take advantage of the free breakfast, but I saw the offerings and it seemed above-average continental.  The front desk workers I encountered were very nice, personable, friendly, and helpful.  Ayanna was especially great during check-in.

I had a very enjoyable stay at Albury Court and would stay there again on a future visit to Key West.

The Key Lime Inn is simply delightful.  The room was clean and neat, and we particularly liked having our own private balcony with table and chairs.  Everyone (other guests included) was very friendly and helpful, and I have already recommended this hotel/inn to friends who are planning a trip to the area.  The inn was as described online and was worth every penny.

On the Friday of Easter weekend we drove down from Ft Lauderdale not knowing if we were going to stay or if we could find a place to stay. When I walked in to inquire about vacancy, Laura was able to offer two rooms at a decent rate for two nights. She was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, quaint and very comfortable. The property is very nice and friendly directly across from the Hemingway home and adjacent to the lighthouse. Continental breakfast was also included. The property was located just 1 block from Duval and Truman so it was convenient walking throughout all of Key West. My family had such an great time they thought I had planned this all along. Needless to say we had a great time and we’ll be back very soon.

Thank you everyone for your hospitality.

I recently had a fabulous 5 night stay in a two bedroom cottage at the Merlin Guest House.  The staff at the property were always friendly and willing to assist with any of our needs. The location cannot be beat. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go, including Hemingway House, Duval Street, Mallory Square and the Southernmost land marker to name a few.

My wife and I stayed at the Lighthouse Court Hotel 5 years ago already and really enjoyed our stay both times.

Parking is now available at a fair price and the service is always good, we meet Huber and Rose.

I would have rated the Hotel excellent if we had blackout curtains in the room. It felt like the sun was rising in our room. Having blackout curtains could be a good idea for guests like us that take full advantage of Duval.

I also left a very good review on Tripadvisor but did not mentioned the curtains on it.
