Our stay at Key Lime Inn was lovely. Nice employees and clean room. Location is very good, attractions are accessible by feet!

This is a great property and is in a great location.  Our room was clean, cool and quiet the entire stay.  Betsy was very pleasant and helpful at check in. The pool was nice and had plenty of sun or shade depending on what your preference is.

The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is I wish the breakfast had more on it with earlier hours and we had to ask about restocking beach towels and wash cloths (which was easy and was always resolved just didn’t like doing it). We  would not hesitate to stay here again.

We loved staying at the Merlin Guesthouse for our honeymoon.  Our king room was beautiful and the staff was very helpful.  The small breakfast in the morning was a great way to start our day!  If we venture back to Key West, we will definitely be staying at this location!

Last year, I stayed at the Lighthouse Court and enjoyed my stay, yet I must admit that as a single older man, the Merlin Guesthouse ranks considerably higher in my estimation. The reason is simple: an older clientele because of having only a spa pool.

The staff was outstanding and quite cordial. Linda always had a smile whether greeting or spending time sharing island information. Kenneth went out of his way to help around the outdoor seating and breakfast area. Yariel (not sure if I’m spelling her name correctly) from housekeeping seemed to never stop working except to initiate a greeting.

Room #4 was quite comfortable although the shower was a little difficult to manage due to its size. While I do not need a handicap-accessible room, I often encourage inns, hotels, etc. to install hand-held shower sprayers. The morning breakfast was quite nice to have, and it allowed me to engage in conversations with other guests.

My only other suggestion would be to investigate a place for a bike rack near the front entrance. I had an adult trike from Eaton Bikes (excellent people to deal with) and locked it by Room #15 on the rack. With any vehicle parked by the Petronia St. gate, it was very challenging to ingress and egress.

Overall, my stay was great. The Merlin Guesthouse fit my needs perfectly, and the staff was sensational. Thank you for having quality and affordable accommodations. Whenever I return to Key West, the Merlin Guesthouse will be my first choice!

We had a very nice time while in Key West and at your hotel. The property was very nice and clean. All of the staff was very helpful. Our favorite person in all of Key West was the Russian woman, Lyenna, who works for you. You are very lucky to fine such a nice girl. You could never fine a better person to replace her.

This was my third visit to Key West and my first stay at Albury Court. It was  not my first stay with the Historic Key West Inns however.  I love the small, intimate hotels and would never choose to stay anywhere but one of their properties. I hope to work my way through all the properties, however, the Albury Court was so convenient to the Harbor area and Duval.

My only suggestion is that they put up some shade umbrella’s in the morning for the breakfast crowd. It was hot and bright for first thing in the morning!

We stayed for only one night during a recent trip visiting the Florida Keys and wished it had been longer.  The hotel was beautiful and the front desk staff were particularly helpful.  We arrived earlier than planned and knew our room wouldn’t be ready yet.  However, the gentleman at the front desk helped us determine where we should park the car in the meantime, offered to hold our luggage and took down a cell phone # to call us back when the room was ready.  We were able to go explore some of the “southernmost” sites and have some lunch knowing that we would be called when it was time to check in.   Upon returning Alexander helped us with by giving us a quick tour, the rundown on the liming hour and breakfast times and assisted with our baggage.  The snacks at the “liming hour” and the options served for breakfast were delicious.   The next morning Alexander helped us again by keeping an eye on our luggage while we did some last minute shopping.   We loved staying at the Cypress House and will definitely plan on staying at one of the Historic Key West Inns hotels next time we are in town.

The Chelsea House and the Staff exceeded all expectations. I come to Key West every year and have stayed in all the high-end chain hotels (BORING) and many of the B&B’s… The Chelsea House provided the perfect mix of true Key West charm and a location that is easy strolling distance to the best attractions in Key West.

WELL DONE!!!

We enjoyed the stay! Everything was more than satisfactory! Rooms were comfortable, breakfast was great, staff was very friendly.

My only constructive criticism is that some of the lounge chairs by the pool are in need of repair. And it would be nice to have a few extra chairs on busy days, because they fill-up.
