I spent hours researching hotels based on price, location, and reviews before deciding on Albury Court. Admittedly I was a little nervous but decided for the great price I would just bring some Clorox wipes and an extra blanket to be on the safe side… because I am a germaphobe.

Parking is a bit difficult but not impossible and once you park it isn’t likely that you will use your car again until check out. The check in process was a breeze- friendly staff, ice cold water, and easy directions to our room in one of the cottages.

Our room was bright, newly painted, and most importantly very clean! After thoroughly examining the room from floor to ceiling (remember, I am a germaphobe) my only complaint is that one place in the room looked like it hadn’t been dusted off that well. The rooms are small but who goes to Key West to sit in their hotel room?!

The hotel is in what appeared to be a residential area with beautiful private homes and B&Bs around. (The Cuban restaurant on the corner is a must if you stay here!) You can rent a bike or scooter close by but we walked everywhere.

Checking out was just as pleasant as our check in experience. I would book another stay at Albury Court for our next stay in Key West!

My husband, friends and I stayed at Cypress House for 3 nights in July. Everything was really great. Staff was friendly, check went well and the staff gave us a brief tour. The room we had was in the old William Anthony Building so all of our rooms (we had 3) were very large, painted nicely, furnishings were great also. There was a wet bar with fridge, bathroom was nice size and tv’ and a/c worked well.

Breakfast in the morning was fine. Muffins, bagels, cereal and a hot item like mini omelettes. A better variety of fruit would be nice as all they had were 2 fruits a day. They also had happy hour around 4. They offered a drink of the day and a hot item like pulled pork or empanadas. Great seating area with fans and cover for the happy hour by the pool.

The pool was nice. You could get sun or shade. There was a lounge deck area upstairs. By the pool there were outdoor sofas. My ONLY complaint was they could use a chiller on the pool in the summer. You would get in and it was so so hot. We did not use the pool much. Instead we went to the beach at the end of Simonton.

Other than the hot pool, this is a great place to stay and very close to Duval and Sunset.

Thanks again.

We found this hotel last minute and were pleasantly surprised by how cute and well located it is. It was perfect! We were looking for a more “economically friendly” place to stay and booked a small one bedroom at the Lighthouse Court Hotel and it was absolutely perfect. Great AC unit kept the room cool in the blazing heat, comfy bed, and tight but perfect bathroom. The location is unbeatable, literally across the street from the Hemingway house and a block from Duval but still quiet and away from the noise. I’m definitely staying here again next time I visit.

We had a great time in Key West.  The hotel was very pleasant and our room was beautiful.  The continental breakfast each morning was wonderful.  The cornhole setup was very nice! The only suggestion for improvement that we have is to make the Mojito Bar more inviting. The bartender was not very friendly so that was somewhat of a disappointment.

We had a great time in the Keys and most of the fun was at the Merlin Guesthouse.   From check in to check out, the staff at Merlin were wonderful. A special shout out to Kenneth. He was very knowledgeable about the area and his suggestions of food and activities were prefect.  My wife loved Jordon the cat and has friended him on Facebook. The chilled pool was my favorite. We will be back soon. Thanks

We spent 3 days at the Chelsea House and this was a perfect place to stay.

The people there were really nice, we had a beautiful room just next to the breakfast area and the pool.

The place was really quiet and everything went perfectly.

We strongly recommend the place !

The Merlin Guesthouse exceeded my expectations. The staff was unbelievably hospitable and helpful, the rooms and the hotel itself was clean and very nice, everything was well kept and maintained. Would actually look forward to going back to the hotel room. Definitely will be staying at the Merlin Guesthouse in the future.

A charming and convenient place! The staff was friendly and accommodating. We arrived earlier than anticipated and they cleaned our room while we wandered around Key West. They called when the room was ready, which was well before scheduled check in time. The room was clean and inviting. Breakfast by the pool was good with a variety of foods to start the day.

I would highly recommend this inn!

I was my 13 year old daughter’s 1st time at Key West.  We were both very pleased with the room and the hospitality from the staff.
