We had a great time in Key West. I wish we stayed longer than 2 days.

The staff at the Cypress House was wonderful – extremely helpful, knowledgeable & happy! Our rooms were great. Clean & spacious. The breakfast was hot, fresh & good! The only complaint that we have was that the a/c in 1 of our rooms was loud. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to spend the night or longer in KW!

Also – 2 blocks off of Duval St. – the location ROCKS!

A large group of us stayed at Lighthouse Court the first weekend of February following the Ragnar Relay. Everyone had nothing but positive things to say about the accommodations at this quaint inn. The location was great — central to everything in Key West. The rooms were updated, clean, and comfortable! This was my husband’s and my first trip to Key West. We will be back and we will book at the Lighthouse Court.

My friend and I stayed at the Key Lime Inn for two nights following our participation in the 2015 Ragnar Florida Keys run. The Inn is located close to all we wanted to do and had ample bike racks for our rented bikes (I recommend renting a bike). Checking in was easy, fast and friendly. Our room was ready and clean when we arrived. I like that the Inn looks like a small village with individual “houses” on the property. The front desk staff was helpful with calling us cabs, calling Lattitudes (you should totally eat there) when we feared we’d miss the boat and in storing our luggage on our day of departure. And, the shower was always hot which was awesome following that run. I have nothing bad to say about Key Lime Inn.

We had a great stay at the Lighthouse Court Hotel with our friends. Location was good for sightseeing opportunities, directly across the street from Hemingway House and the Lighthouse of course.

We were greeted by someone very professional and knowledgeable at the front desk which gave us a nice impression right off. When asked, we were given some great ideas on where to eat and visit while there.

Blue Heaven was a wonderful spot for lunch and within close walking distance from the hotel. It is an absolute must when visiting Key West from now on.

We would reture to this place again on a future visit no problem.

Very cute hotel.  Loved the shower!  Could use somewhere to hang clothes and I would put pads on the bed frames.  My husband walked right into the wood corner from the entrance.  Enjoyed our one night stay.

I found this hotel when we decided at the last minute to take the Key West Express from Ft. Myers.  We decided to stay one night to give us more time on the island and were delighted with the accommodations. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we were allowed to leave our one small suitcase in the hotel for the 5 hour stretch between check-out and catching the boat back.  The hotel is walking distance to most tourist attractions (a short block to Duval Street) if you like to walk like we do.  The room was perfect with a large, luxurious bathroom.  Great breakfast by the pool is included.

My wife and I just returned from a fantastic 5 night stay at the Cypress House. We read numerous reviews before booking the Cypress House and were not disappointed. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfasts served by the pool in a private setting were a perfect way to start our day in Key West. The staff was courteous, friendly and responsive to our needs. The red rose placed on our bed on Valentine’s Day was a very nice touch!

The location to the waterfront and Duval Street was the clincher for us. We only had to walk two blocks to enjoy the nightlife that Duval Street offers. This was my 6th trip to Key West and my first time staying at the Cypress House. It will definitely not be our last. We plan to return to the Cypress House for future vacations.

The location of this property is fabulous. It’s 1 block off Duval Street and 4 or 5 blocks from the beach. There are only about 25 or so rooms at this property, which we really liked. The room that we stayed in (#3) was located at the front of the property which is on Simonton Street. It’s not too noisy, but there is some construction going on a few blocks down the street, and there are some big trucks going up and down the street. That being said, I think the reason for the trucks, is the removal of a firehouse demolition, so this will probably not be an issue within the next few days or a week. The room we had was cozy. But it was updated and clean. And the smallness of the room really didn’t bother us because we don’t spend much time in our room anyway. Also, our room did not have a closet, a coffee maker or a fridge. Not a big deal to us, but if it is to you, then you should ask for a different room type. Of course, I’m sure the price will be a little more.

NOW THE BATHROOM! I readily confess that I am a bathroom nazi. I am WAYYYY picky about the bathroom. And I am pleased to say that this one passed. The bathroom was a decent size and the lighting was bright and fabulous. There was a large mirror over the sink and a large full length mirror on one side of the room. There was also some room around the sink to place toiletries. My only minor issue was the water nozzle in the shower. I prefer a tight water stream and not a wide water stream. This one had a wide stream, although the pressure was decent. So overall the bathroom passed. They also have a really good continental breakfast each morning by the pool, serving hard boiled eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit (apples, oranges, bananas, etc.), local pastries, muffins, cereal, orange juice and coffee. The staff (especially Kenneth) was extremely helpful and very accommodating, providing great tips on various things around the area. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this guesthouse.

Great location as you are minutes away from every thing. Very nice pool area and good mini areas around the room to sit back and relax.
