My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Chelsea House Hotel for our 3rd wedding Anniversary.  My husband is in the military and we never really got a honeymoon, so this was a short “honeymoon” for us.  We were driving from St. Pete, FL, and knew we would be checking in late.  I informed the Front Desk team via email, and they were quick to respond and sent detailed instructions on what to do when we arrived.  Our room was beautiful and clean with a lot of character.

We enjoyed breakfast by the pool the first day, which was a great setting, the food was pretty typical for a continental.  The location can’t be beat, within walking distance of Duval and all the local sites.  We also got a great Anniversary surprise in our room one day, you can tell the staff really pays attention to detail!  I would recommend this hotel to any couple looking to have a fun-filled and relaxing stay in Key West!

Where do I start?! From the moment we pulled up in our cab from the airport our experience was delightful.  The check-in staff was funny, personable and friendly. Our room was more than we expected.  Loved the tall ceilings, wood floor and charm of the décor. We were right outside the kitchen, so I was lucky enough to get breakfast in bed everyday since my husband simply walked from our door into the kitchen.

The evening Hors d’oeuvres were delicious and the rum drinks very tasty! ALL the staff were wonderful and friendly, always asking if we needed anything. Housekeeping was awesome! We felt like we had the huge house to ourselves as it was very quiet and we hardly ever saw the staff  – they seemed to be like fairies – things just magically appeared.  We vacation in Key West every couple of years – this was our first experience with the Historic Key West Inns group of hotels. Suffice it to say, we will definitely stay at Cypress House Hotel or one of their other Hotels on our next stay.

Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.  Very much appreciated.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience in the Albury Court Hotel. The whole property was beautiful and very cozy, and the personnel could not have been more accommodating. The hotel was walking distance from almost everywhere in Key West, particularly Duval Street. We will definitely be back!

Both check in and checkout was awesome.  The staff was exceptional and very accommodating as our departure was later that day and they welcomed us back while they stored our luggage.  I wish I would have jotted down their names but hopefully it will be easy to research so they get the kudos they deserve! Hotel room was clean, comfortable and the grounds the same.  I will definitely recommend this place to family and friends.  Thanks again, we really enjoyed our stay!

The location of Lighthouse Court Hotel is perfectly located in Old Town for enjoying all there is to experience in this fascinating city. We walked wherever we wanted to go!  We were directly across from Hemingway House and adjacent to THE Key West Lighthouse.

Check in/out is a smooth process with friendly and helpful office personnel. We were advised to park our vehicle in the guarded lot a short drive from the hotel; it is well worth the added $10+tax/daily!  Street parking is pretty non-existent.

Accommodations are quite clean and comfortable.  We had requested a room with 2 beds; we had more of a suite with a separate bedroom(another bed in the large “living room” with a dining area and efficiency kitchen), a double vanity bathroom and a large walk-in shower, and 2 TVs.  We also had a nice deck with 2 Adirondack chairs just outside our door.  Our unit appeared to have been recently renovated, as it seemed for the rest of the property.

The deck surrounding the salt water pool is a great gathering spot all day and into the evening. Karleen brings out fresh coffee and orange juice beginning at 7 AM and then she sets up a continental breakfast bar (the locally made fresh bagels and ham & cheese croissants are EXCELLENT!).  She always took good care of everyone, and made sure there was fresh coffee! Opposite the breakfast area is the Mojito Bar & Cafe for a nice selection of beers, drinks, and light fare.

All employees we met were very helpful, friendly and pleasant. Everyone had a genuine smile on!! One of them told us we should not miss the Butterfly & Nature Conservatory; it is amazing! Don’t forget to see Rhett and Scarlett, the resident pink flamingos!

After the hustle-and-bustle of sightseeing, entering the Court is a welcome and quiet respite from the outside. We really enjoyed our stay here. Now that we have discovered this Gem we are longing to return!

We stayed at the Merlin Guest House in later October. The room was exceptionally clean. The staff went out of their way to help my wife find some shampoo that we had to throw out because of our flight. The garden where the breakfast was held was absolutely beautiful.

My wife was looking for a sweet hotel in Key West for my 60th birthday. We had been given your hotel name by our neighbors. We were so delighted by a surprise phone call and upgrade from Kathy, after my wife called to inquire about a fridge in our original booked room, the day before we were to arrive. We were so excited to come to Key West, as we had always wanted to travel there.

We arrived late afternoon and we were warmly greeted by a very nice woman at the front desk. She gave us many tips and places to go it was really appreciated. I must say that I have many ‘senior moments’ when it comes to remembering names. We took our luggage to our upgraded room. Wow, what a beautiful room, thank you so much Kathy!!!  We felt like we had our own private sanctuary and such a beautiful place to celebrate my 60th birthday.

The next day my wife had a nice conversation in the morning with the front desk person who was from Spain. This nice lady had champagne delivered to our room to celebrate my special day. The entire staff was extremely professional and so willing to help us with whatever we needed. The location is one street from Duval street.   Quiet at night for sleeping and easy access to travel Duval Street. We definitely plan on coming back to the Lighthouse Court Hotel in the very near future!  Overall it was awesome, times 1000!  I would highly recommend this Hotel!!!!!!!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Merlin Guest House for 2 nights this December and it was absolutely amazing! We wish we could have stayed longer and are definitely planning to visit again! The staff was wonderful and our whole trip started out great by the quick check in and wonderful dinner recommendations. The rooms are cozy and very lovely and the location is absolutely superb, just a few steps from Duval St and not far from Southernmost Point, Fort Zachary Taylor, the Harbour or any other attraction. One of our favourite breakfast spots, Sarabeths, was only a block away on the same street which was very convenient and ever so delicious. The pool was a great temperature and though small it was perfect for a night time swim. I would most definitely recommend the Merlin Guest House to friends and family as it was overall an excellent stay and we loved the staff, atmosphere, location and experience and wouldn’t change a thing. We can’t wait to come back! 🙂

My husband and I stayed at Lighthouse Court for the first time on our recent trip to Key West.  The hotel is literally 1 block off Duval (the quiet end) and right across the street from Ernest Hemingway’s home.  We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go!!!  In the past we had to take cabs everywhere!!!  The hotel is great.

The grounds were well kept & the way the buildings are situated around the courtyard gives the place a very cozy feeling even though you’re in the middle of everything.  The room was beautiful, clean, and quiet.  We spent our days out wandering Duval St, eating, and even took a shark tour!  Our room was just perfect to come back to, cool off, & rest up for the next adventure.  We figured out Blue Heaven was just a matter of walking a block down the back alley, so we never took advantage of the complimentary breakfast.  I saw them setting up and it looked like they had plenty of choices.  The front desk staff and bartender were very friendly and the housekeeping staff always greeted me with a smile when I saw them.  Little things like that mean a lot to me.  We will return, hopefully soon!!!
