Very efficient check in, with advice offered along with maps on where best to go for food and entertainments. The quaint little building with the room – a small one, with a single queen bed – was nicely decorated and clean. Perfect for a single person like me, might have been a tad small for a couple. It was very quiet. The shower was small but again very functional, though the water was cool. Overall the room was about perfect for what I needed from it. Pool area was nice, and that’s basically where the breakfast area is too; that was fine, but possibly, could have done with something a bit more dramatic/significant – offerings were pretty basic.
I’d thoroughly recommend this hotel. Short walk to Duval, bit far from Mallory Sq. but easily walkable for most I would say. But, a very short walk to the Onlywood Pizzeria – proper Italian thin crust pizza made in a wood oven. Fantastic.By: John Burgess on December 3, 2013
