Bring your suit and towel and listen to great tunes while you swim with friends and enjoy special drink prices. Register to compete in the 3rd Annual Cornhole Tournament or the 1st Annual Pool Volleyball Games! Practice rounds for both (and instructions for beginners) from 2-3. We are excited to announce that Gilbert Baker, the creator of the famous RAINBOW FLAG, will be staying with us at Lighthouse Court during Pride and we will have 25 ft of the historic flag hanging in the cornhole court area!!

Midsummer Night’s Dream in Key West: June 23rd
Midsummer’s Night Dream and Spectacle was created to celebrate why we live in Key West, and to give artists a way to share the power of their dreams. Everyone attending is a participant in this playful and spontaneous celebration – a wonderland of costumed revelers, interactive art projects, and multiple stages, This year’s event will have more than 50 participating artists, including musicians, singers, dancers, sculptors, plein air painters, actors, poets, storytellers, aerial artistry, fire hooping and dance performances, and more. Admission is $10 for adults. Head to the Key West Tropical Forest and Botanical Garden for the fun.
DURING THE WEEKEND: Come taste Peter’s Ginger Rita Cocktail. It’s smooth, it’s lush & it’s spicy! Enjoy it poolside from 4PM – 7PM at our beautiful property just across the street from the Hemingway House. The mojito’s will be flowing and the sun will be shining, so come party with us before or after the event.
Key Lime Pie Festival: July 4th – 6th
The 2013 Key Lime Pie Championships will be a yummy way to visit the Hemingway Garden! Come taste sample pies from contestants vying for the blue ribbon in the Conch, Amateur and Professional Divisions. The $10 admission fee includes 5 selections from the sampling table and a ballot to cast your vote for the Peoples Choice Award. There will also be pie demonstrations, V.I.P. wine pairings, music and prizes for best Key Lime Pie attire. It doesn’t get more American than Key Lime Pie!
Our own Mojito Bar manager, Scott, will be submitting two of his secret key lime pie entries as well. We can’t wait to taste them! Tickets will be available at keystix.com closer to the event.
Hemingway Days: July 16th – 21st
Do you think you look like Ernest Hemingway? Have you ever wanted to run with the bulls? The 33rd annual celebration of the author’s work features literary readings, a one-man play, a short story competition, a three-day Marlin fishing tournament, a Look-Alike Contest and a fun “Running With The Bulls” competition down Duval. Come and be part of the exuberance!
Hemingway loved his mojito’s and Scott and Peter make some of the best on the island. Come to have one, or three, at our Mojito Bar across from Hemingway’s House, and maybe you will be inspired to write your next novel too!
Key West Lobsterfest: August 9th – 11th
Events include the Duval Crawl on Friday night, a street fair and free concert as well as a spectacular Sunday brunch. Saturday’s street fair features lobster-inspired dishes ranging from appetizers to full dinners. The feast takes place in the 100 – 500 blocks of Duval Street. The FREE concert on Saturday features local and regional bands as well.
DURING THE FEST: Come have a cocktail, or three, as you lounge around the pool at our Lighthouse Court Mojito Bar relaxing and listening to tunes before you head out for the evening’s fun. Scott has excellent drink prices on beer and specialty drinks too.
Key West Brewfest: August 29th – September 2nd
More than 150 beers and micro-brews are going to be tap at this annual event that benefits the Key West Sunrise Rotary Club of the Conch Republic. Events include beer dinners & brunches, pool parties, late-night parties, and the Signature Tasting Festival Event are lined up for this year.
DAILY: Enjoy poolside Happy Hours at Lighthouse Court Cafe & Mojito Bar from 4PM – 7PM Peter will be featuring some great beers. Come relax the day away under the sunshine by the pool with your family & friends.
Red Barn Theatre: Ongoing
Red Barn sets the bar for really great theatre in Key West. Works by Bob Bowersox, Mike Marrero, Mike Craver, Debra Monk, Mark Hardwick, Mary Murfitt, Charles Busch, Nora Ephron & Delia Ephron, Eric H. Weinberger and Donald Margulies have audiences laughing, crying, singing and generally just having a great night out. Get more info about the Red Barn Theatre here. Start your evening off with a Sour Coconut coconut Bacardi white rum and lime, at our Poolside Mojito Bar and then head out to the barn for the performance.
