EVENTS AROUND TOWN & AT LIGHTHOUSE COURT HOTEL MOJITO BAR & CAFE
902 Whitehead Street ~ Across From The Hemingway House
We really love getting to see the interiors of the elegant historic homes we ride past on our evening bike rides. Every year the Old Island Restoration Foundation sponsors 2 more tours throughout March and we attend them both! The unique private homes chosen range from exquisite restorations to creative renovations, and the interior design that complements their architecture and adds a unique Key West flavor.March 14th & 15th 10 – 4pm
There’s nothing like a person telling a real story about something that happened to them, and having to do it in 5 minutes and about a specific theme!
The theme of this next story slam is ‘Worst Advice Ever’. Head over to the Little Room Jazz Club on Duval street at 7:30 and register to be one of the 12 who will be telling their tales. Storytelling starts at 8 and the laughter follows soon after. The audience judges whose stories win and the top three get a portion of the $250 pot. It’s a great night of fun!
Head to the Truman Waterfront for the daylong event featuring several musical performances. Keystock is sponsored by Lazy Lakes RV Resort, Howard Livingston and the Key West Rotary Club. Festival hours are noon to 9:30 p.m., with gates set to open at 11 a.m.
Come have a cocktail, or three, as you lounge around the pool at the Mojito Bar – Lighthouse Court Hotel, relaxing to tunes before you head out for the evening’s fun.
The 19th Annual Taste of Key West will be held from 6 to 9pm on the Truman Waterfront Pier at the end of Southard Street. Every year the event has grown by leaps and bounds and this year promises to be another block buster!
More than 50 local restaurants and 100 wineries and vineyards will be on hand to provide culinary delights and fine wine tastes. The admission is free and food and wine tickets cost $1 each with “tastes” ranging from $3 to $8.
Play a game of cornhole or have your favorite cocktail poolside at our Mojito Bar, 902 Whitehead Street inside the Lighthouse Court Hotel. It’s a nice way to start your evening.
Key West Paddleboard Classic: May 1st -4th

The race around Key West is open to paddlers on standup paddleboards, prone boards, outrigger canoes, dory boats, surf skis and kayaks. Other weekend beach and paddling activities are planned as well.
This is a really fun night out. These short plays by various playwrights star various actors in often surprising plots. This year’s crop will be directed by Mimi McDonald and others. A fresh assortment of 10- minute plays – funnier and more thought-provoking than ever!
Robert Earle Keen, Bush Hawg and many others will be in town for this soulful and rockin’ festival. The show schedule can be found here in a few weeks. We will have performers spinning musical magic at our Lighthouse Court Mojito Bar as well. Come join us for the vibe!
