The Key West Duval Loop Bus is FREE and runs every 15 minutes, 10:00 am-midnight, 30 minutes 6:00 am-10:00 am.  Most of our boutique hotels are conveniently situated next to the Duval Loop bus stops, making it an easy way to get around the island while staying with us.  The Lighthouse Court Hotel, Cypress House Hotel and Merlin Guest House all have Duval Loop stops right out the front door!  Albury Court Hotel, Key Lime Inn and Chelsea House Hotel are all located within a few blocks from the nearest stop.

The Duval Loop bus service is one of the best ways to get around the heart of Key West!  The route runs from the Gulf to the Atlantic adjacent to Key West’s world-famous main street lined with shops, bars, restaurants and all sorts of quirky stuff.  Our favorite form of public transportation is totally free, air-conditioned and there are plenty of stops to launch your Key West adventure from. Here is some information about the Duval Loop Bus wants to share with you!

“Our island is about living life to the fullest, soaking up the sunshine, kicking back to watch the sunset, and genuinely appreciating the beauty we have at just about every turn. That’s why you just can’t do Key West in a car. Lots of people try, only to end up stuck in traffic and forever searching for that elusive parking space.

Car-Free Key West is a program in the City’s Planning Department dedicated to promoting a smart and attainable vision for Key West – Life within pedal strokes and walking distance. Our mission is to “make it safe and easy for more people to bike, walk and use transit and carpool more often.” We work actively with other city departments including Key West TransitEngineeringCommunity Services/Public WorksParking and Police.

More people biking, walking, using the bus and sharing the ride makes our island healthier, happier, more sustainable, and ultimately more prosperous. It means less traffic and parking congestion. It even makes it easier for those who have to drive to do so. The program accomplishes its mission in two ways: we provide information and education to the public and we work to improve infrastructure like bike paths and services like public transportation.” (CareFreeKeyWest, 2018)
