Lighthouse Court Hotel – Relaxing!

What a great hotel!  Started with a very welcoming and courteous staff at check-in at the front desk.  They were friendly and very knowledgeable about Key West and recommended restaurants and other attractions upon request.

Our room was clean, comfortable, and a very relaxing environment.  I was surprised how quiet it was in the room. Also, the room was always very clean and housekeeping very timely.  We especially enjoyed lounging on the blue chairs each day on our front porch.

We will definitely recommend Lighthouse Court Hotel to friends and family.

Lighthouse Court Hotel -Terrific Place

This was the first time in Key West over Christmas. The hotel was very tropical and rooms clean and nicely decorated. Having a frig was a plus. We never came home to an unmade room and the staff were extremely helpful when we asked for places to eat and things to do. One thing we really appreciated was how they helped us get a room downstairs when we were scheduled for upstairs. A really lovely place.

3rd Stay At Lighthouse Court Hotel And Can't Wait To Come Back!

Excellent stay!

  • Everyone on the team was great, very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous.
  • This was our 3rd stay at the Lighthouse Court Hotel and love it.  The rooms are always clean and everything I expect in Key West.
  • Housekeeping staff is always responsive.
  • Check-in and check-out process was efficient.
  • We always recommend this hotel to friends.
  • Only recommendation is to consider extending breakfast past 10am (maybe 11am)?  For us 20-30 year olds who like to stay out late, 10am could be a bit rough while on vacation.

Lighthouse Court Hotel – Friendly And Sweet

Staff was amazingly friendly, accommodating and welcoming. Rooms were cleaned early and quickly and the property overall is charming, rooms are segmented enough so you don’t feel like you’re surrounded by people.

The location is surprisingly convenient to everything in old town which makes it a great place for those who plan on spending most of their time out and about.

Our room was spacious with a big bathroom and sitting area, and even though the hotel was fully booked, we always found lounge chairs at the cozy pool.

Nice continental breakfast every day. Loved the house cat who would jump into our laps!

There were a few things that could be improved like a larger safe that could hold a laptop and more pillows, but overall, it’s a really solid choice for Key West.

Lighthouse Court Hotel – Peace And Beauty in the Heart of Key West

This meticulously maintained property, right next to the historical Key West Lighthouse and Museum, is a haven of peace in the heart of Key West.  Located directly across from the Hemingway House, which buzzes with tourists all day, the hotel is quiet, with a lovely inner courtyard and breakfast area surrounding a small and inviting pool.  From its location you can walk anywhere in Key West, and very good restaurants are just steps away.

The front desk management is very helpful; upon check in, our gentleman walked back to our car, which was waiting around the corner, and helped us move our bags in through the back entrance.  He provided a great deal of local information and maps, and helped us locate the hotel parking lot, a few blocks away.  The room was clean, well maintained and comfortable, with a big walk-in shower and all the amenities.  Strongly recommended!

Lighthouse Court Hotel – Location Excellent For Visiting City And Sites

We selected the hotel based on location and we were not disappointed.  We could walk or ride our bicycles to all the points of interest we wanted to visit.  Check-in was a bit long, but the other interactions at registration were efficient and informative.  Our first day the room was not serviced until about 3 PM, but the other days it was serviced early so that when we returned to the hotel, it was tidy and ready.  I would recommend the hotel to friends.  I would tell them, though, that parking is about 2 blocks away and that guests are allowed to park bikes on the hotel property.  Thanks for the mojito.

Lighthouse Court Hotel – Loved it!!

Great location to Duval street but in a quiet area. Beautiful guest rooms. Friendly staff. Relaxing pool area. We needed three guests rooms for some friends of ours that came down from the north to visit and we were all put in rooms next to each other. Very accommodating. We all loved our stay at the Lighthouse Court Hotel and we would definitely stay there again.

Lighthouse Court Hotel – Even Better Than Expected

There are so many great things to mention about our stay.  The staff was excellent (thanks, Danielle, Laura, Jennifer and Lila) and they were very helpful with directions and local advice. Thanks also to Kyrell and his restaurant suggestions and discount coupons.  Of course, I have to mention Gary, the resident black cat, who was loved by all and a warming addition to the already exceptional ambience of the place.

We requested a secluded room and received exactly what we wanted.  Laura arranged bikes to be brought to the hotel and relieved us of having to seek those out ourselves.  The location is very convenient whether walking or biking to attractions or even one of the local CVS’ or Walgreens. We can’t wait to visit again!

Lighthouse Court Hotel – Best Of The Best

This was our first visit to a very laid-back Key West and after browsing numerous websites found just what we were looking for and that was the historic Lighthouse Court Hotel.

The location is perfect, just back from the party street, Duval Street, so we were within walking distance of all the popular restaurants and historic bars plus the hop on hop off buses stopped just up the road.  Ernest Hemingway House was right across the road with all his kitty offsprings.  The hotel itself is just great, accommodations very comfortable, great continental breakfasts around the pool and happy hour drinks at the onsite bar.  Lena, who manages the bar, is a sweetheart and can share so much local information.

We’ll definitely be back, thank you for a memorable stay. ?

Lighthouse Court Hotel – A Jewel In The Heart of Key West!

The location of Lighthouse Court Hotel is perfectly located in Old Town for enjoying all there is to experience in this fascinating city. We walked wherever we wanted to go!  We were directly across from Hemingway House and adjacent to THE Key West Lighthouse.

Check in/out is a smooth process with friendly and helpful office personnel. We were advised to park our vehicle in the guarded lot a short drive from the hotel; it is well worth the added $10+tax/daily!  Street parking is pretty non-existent.

Accommodations are quite clean and comfortable.  We had requested a room with 2 beds; we had more of a suite with a separate bedroom(another bed in the large “living room” with a dining area and efficiency kitchen), a double vanity bathroom and a large walk-in shower, and 2 TVs.  We also had a nice deck with 2 Adirondack chairs just outside our door.  Our unit appeared to have been recently renovated, as it seemed for the rest of the property.

The deck surrounding the salt water pool is a great gathering spot all day and into the evening. Karleen brings out fresh coffee and orange juice beginning at 7 AM and then she sets up a continental breakfast bar (the locally made fresh bagels and ham & cheese croissants are EXCELLENT!).  She always took good care of everyone, and made sure there was fresh coffee! Opposite the breakfast area is the Mojito Bar & Cafe for a nice selection of beers, drinks, and light fare.

All employees we met were very helpful, friendly and pleasant. Everyone had a genuine smile on!! One of them told us we should not miss the Butterfly & Nature Conservatory; it is amazing! Don’t forget to see Rhett and Scarlett, the resident pink flamingos!

After the hustle-and-bustle of sightseeing, entering the Court is a welcome and quiet respite from the outside. We really enjoyed our stay here. Now that we have discovered this Gem we are longing to return!
