Merlin Guest House – REALLY NICE!

WE STAYED AT THE MERLIN GUEST HOUSE. IT WAS REALLY NICE AND LESS MONEY THAN A LOT OF THE OTHER PLACES I CHECKED. THE ROOM WAS LARGE AND CLEAN. THE STAFF WAS NICE. I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN.

Merlin Guest House – Enjoyed Our Stay, Within Walking Distance Of Things To See

Really enjoyed our stay at Merlin Guest House. It is close to everything we wanted to see, just take off walking. The place is a hidden gem. Such a nice tropical garden area to sit, relax, eat breakfast or swim in the pool. Our room was on the street side but noise was not a problem. The room was very clean and inviting. Breakfast was great with coffee, tea, juice, breads, fruit, hard boiled eggs. Very relaxing. Would definitely stay there again.

Merlin Guest House – Great Stay

We came in on Sunday, September 25 and were checked in to a wonderful and spacious room. Breakfast in the courtyard was inviting and with a morning paper. All afternoon there was tea available. The gentleman who checked us in was friendly and helpful. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. Cannot wait to come back.

Merlin Guest House Was Great!

We stayed at the Merlin Guest House only 2 blocks off Duval, centrally located from Southernmost point to Mallory square.

It was a girls weekend, 4 of us and we booked 2 rooms. They put us side by side rooms. We had a connecting door to each others room, which was great. We just kept the door open so we can go in and out of both rooms.

Rooms: They were spacious and very clean. I was worried about having one air conditioning, since it was mid September, but that little thing cooled the room nicely. I really surprised about the room size and so glad we did not go with a resort stay.

The place had complimentary breakfast, cereal, local bagels, muffins, fruits and more. In the afternoon they served ice tea by pool. The pool is small but we didn’t mind, it was great to be in and sunbath for a bit.

Location: Like I said, location, location, location! It was perfect, we walked everywhere. The Merlin Guest House is right In the middle of everything. No need for car.

All in all, we would definitely stay here again. I would like to check out their other properties as well. But knowing where Merlin’s rooms and location are, it’s hard not to resist on coming back to this location.

Thank you

Merlin Guest House – Our First Visit To The Keys

This was our first vacation to Key West.  What can I say the weather was HOT but beautiful, people were friendly and the Key Lime Pie out of this world.  The guest house was perfect for our family and the staff made sure our  house was kept well supplied with towels and clean.  The sitting area to the side of the house was like being in Paradise.  Breakfast area yummy each and every morning.  The staff during our check in and check out time (and basically every day ) was very friendly, helpful and fun. Best of all everything was in walking distance and the car never moved until we departed on Sunday.

We were sorry to leave this little hidden spot in this hectic world. By the way our last night on the Island we has dinner at OFF THE HOOK.  Great food, quaint and friendly!!!

Miss the Keys,

Dan & Pat Rose and my sister Tammi too.

Will try to send a few photos later.

Merlin Guest House – Superb Place

This hotel is only 2 blocks off of Duval Street and centrally located near the middle of Duval Street. The rooms were clean with a small cottage type atmosphere.. Workers there are so friendly and helpful. It was a good visit and they very rarely get kids here but they are still welcome, it isn’t an adult only place. We went back every afternoon to sit in the pool/spa and cool off with a couple of adult beverages and some quiet time.. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Key West.. We definitely will stay here when we return..

Merlin Guest House – Great Experience And Service

I stayed at the Merlin Guest House only for one night but I wished I had stayed there longer! Cindy was great at the front desk, the rooms were big and nicely furnished, and breakfast by the pool was everything you needed to start the day. Great location too, will come back next year!

Merlin Guset House – Friendly, Comfortable, Convenient

Merlin Guest House offers great charm, friendly responsive staff, quality linens, great muffins, breads, fruit, yogurt set up everyday for breakfast poolside. Lee and Kenneth were especially friendly and helpful. Great central location less than 1 mile from mallory square and the southern most point. 1 block over to duval st. And it  is across the street from Off the Hook, a fabulous breakfast and dinner offerings. We also enjoyed the food at Conch republic.  Hope to go back for Christmas 2017.

Merlin Guest House – Our Home In Key West

We wouldn’t stay anywhere else. For the location and price, we believe it’s the best value in Key West. From housekeeping to front desk, all are attentive to our needs. Our room is clean, breakfast is ready, iced tea is cold and everyone is friendly. I’d like to especially mention Linda and Kenneth in the office. Whether we needed a taxi or our boarding passes printed, they were ready to help with a smile. And they seemed genuinely interested in getting to know us as well. Finally, I confess that we love that other resident, Jordan Del Gato. He was waiting to greet us outside our room each morning. We’ll be back soon to see our extended family. Thanks for another great trip!
