I enjoyed my stay at Albury Court. It is conveniently located for the trip to the Dry Tortugas. The room was compact, but comfortable and I slept well there. The shower in this room was odd in that there was no way to turn the water on without getting into the shower and getting doused with cold water, but I got used to that. The breakfast was acceptable. I did plan to have a full breakfast at one of the nice restaurants in the area, only to find that they are all closed Sunday morning. So plan to eat at the hotel on Sunday.
The biggest problem with the hotel is that there is only street parking, not even for registration. You have to park on the street. Once I was registered and had the map of legal parking places, I was fine. But to register, I had to park illegally (I knew it was instinctively, though I didn’t know why or what to do about it). Nothing would have started off my vacation rotten like a parking ticket.By: Wayne Shepard December 1, 2014
