Location is wonderful, and while it’s right on Truman it was quiet.
The room was great. Charming, with great historic elements and modern amenities. The bathroom was a perfect size, water pressure was great, and towels were plush.
Each member of the staff we interacted with were cheerful and inviting. From check in to check out, always a smile. Parking for a small fee which is well worth it. The grounds are clean, inviting and feel like the perfect oasis.
Few items we thought we fit us better specifically, but by no means a ding against the resort. Its entirely perfect for a getaway stay as is.
– An onsite option for beer / wine / simple cocktails. Nothing crazy, just a small spot with two or three seats where one could grab a quiet nightcap.
– An onsite option for simple snacks / drinks. Again, nothing elaborate. Just a quick snack, bottles of water, etc.
– Music by the pool. Not a band, just something low playing in the background to break up the quiet.
Great value for the money, even in season. Will absolutely be back and would love to stay at one of their other hotels.By: Craig M ONeil on March 29, 2016
