I booked a room for one night as a side trip on our visit to the Miami area. The Key Lime Inn is a beautiful place.
The facilities were clean and well appointed. We had a wonderful time lounging in the hammock and the bench swing.
The staff was responsive. We had a need for extra towels and pillows. Within minutes of our request, the staff was at our door with fresh towels and pillows.
The one complaint I would have is the staff is perhaps not knowledgeable to the needs of riders. We rented a Harley-Davidson Road Glide in Miami for our ride down the Keys. Upon check-in, I was requested to move the rather large bike from the parking lot, up a narrow sidewalk, and under a tree next to an array of scooters. The logic for this was their belief that given the gravel driveway the bike would tip over as cars drove past. I have been riding for many years and have parked large Harleys in many a gravel parking lot. I have never had one simply tip over for no reason.By: David Hartley on July 27, 2015
