— Your staff accommodated a last-minute change to my reservation because of a flight I missed in New York. They removed a night from my stay without penalty. Given the enormous hassle involved in every other aspect of the trip after I missed the flight, this stood out as an example of above-and-beyond customer service.
— I called the front desk a couple of times, once to ask about dry cleaning and once to request a late checkout. Both times the staff were extremely courteous. The man I spoke to about dry cleaning explained that those services weren’t offered by the hotel and referred me to a nearby business. (I ended up not using it but appreciated the info.)
— The location was perfect, both for the wedding I was attending and just to get a sense of Key West and have easy access to lots of things to do, without feeling like I was in the middle of a party zone.
— The housekeeping staff did a great job of restoring the room to like-new condition each day.
— This is a very particular thing, but the floor was made of a material that tended to feel kind of sticky or tacky. I don’t think it was not being cleaned inadequately or anything. It just didn’t work very well with the climate, I thought.
— I would have appreciated a little more time on the late checkout. They gave me an extra half-hour.
