The entire staff – from front desk, to housekeeping, to bartenders – was unfailingly friendly, helpful and cheerful. I don’t know if I’ve ever stayed at a property where I felt so welcome. The property itself is very well maintained and clean. They are historic buildings that have been renovated, and nicely decorated. We had a queen room that was big enough, but could have used more counter space. The continental breakfast was very good, with locally baked bagels and croissants. The place is very quiet, and across the street from the Hemingway house and only a block away from the hubbub of Duval Street. I would not hesitate to stay there again. Great experience!
Two of the highlights of our trip were 1) The Cuban Coffee Queen for breakfast and 2) the Sunset Cruise. The coffee at CCQ was great as expected. But the breakfast sandwich was large, hot, and very tasty. We had a lot of fun on the sunset cruise (on Fury Watersports). Not a great beer selection, but the staff on the boat was very friendly and helpful, and the other passengers were friendly and fun.By: matt roberts on April 26, 2016
