Chelsea House Hotel – First Time In Key West

The Chelsea House Hotel was the base for my first stay in Key West.

The accommodations, staff, facilities were outstanding and certainly make coming back to Key West a priority.

It was a pleasure to stay at the Chelsea House.

Merlin Guest House – Perfection Achived

LOVED  the Merlin Guest House.

I have stayed at many of the B&B’s in Key West and have loved most of them with always a “room for improvement clause” ; until now.

We stayed in a one bedroom, that was spacious, clean, had everything we needed to cook a meal; loved the iced tea that was always available poolside, the breakfast was nice, the staff were friendly and warm, 5 star, which is far from a rather snobby or non existent staff that you get in some/most other places. Perfect location far enough off Duval to be peaceful, yet close enough to be in the center of the action in 2 minutes.

Jordan Del Gato (the resident cat) was adorable and earned himself some new Facebook friends in us.

The only thing I would change is I would add a HOT Jacuzzi.

We will definitely be back.:)

Key Lime Inn – Had A Blast!

I stayed at the Key Lime Inn with a friend for a girls trip and we had a great time! The hotel is conveniently located to Duval Street so you are close to the action and far enough away to be quiet at night. The ladies at the front desk were very helpful and gave us some great restaurant suggestions. Thanks for a great stay in Key West, I can’t wait to return with my husband!

Cypress House Hotel – Lovely Stay

My husband and I chose Key West and the Cypress House Hotel to celebrate our 10th anniversary. The staff was very welcoming and also helpful when giving us suggestions of local restaurants to try. They even left us a small bottle of champagne with a happy anniversary note in our room. We were pleased with the room and bathroom size, the balcony area and the free breakfasts each morning. Plus the location of the Cypress House is perfectly located in Old Town. Overall a very nice hotel and definitely a place where we would stay again.

Merlin Guest House – What An Oasis!

I must say I’ve never stayed in such a chic little hotel! I’m more of a budget lodging girl and camp when I can. What a gem Merlin Guest House was, and very well priced! My husband and I stayed overnight before heading to Dry Tortugas to camp for 3 days. Our guest room was adorable, everything clean and well maintained and still had such a historic feel to it. I loved the pool patio and lush landscaping and the sweet little cat they take care of on the patio 🙂 I cannot wait until I come back to Key West because we will for sure be staying in another of their Historic Key West Inns hotels. You cannot beat the price for the accommodations and the location to all Key West has!

Albury Court Hotel – You've Got A Friend In Me!

This was my and my husbands first trip to Key West and I will never stay in another hotel besides one of the Historic Key West Inns ever!! We stayed at Albury Court Hotel extremely last minute on the Sunday of Memorial Weekend. Our rental car had a flat as we came back from 3 days of camping in Dry Tortugas (no showers, AC, etc) to dealing with the rental headache and eventually were told to get a hotel room for the night as we could not get a car until the next day. Desperately we searched for a hotel that wasn’t upwards of $400 a night and since we had previously stayed at their Merlin Guest House on Thursday and loved it, I called and luckily Albury Court had some rooms at a great price. On the phone Rose was the absolute sweetest and understanding as I was almost in tears hoping they had a room and apologizing as there were various other conversations going on as my husband was dealing with the rental company. She even called back to see that we were alright and to make sure we had all the right phone numbers as it was getting close to the office closing at 10pm. The night manager was also the sweetest on the phone, and she was at the hotel in barely 5 mins to get us our key and helped carry some of our camping equipment to the room. I was blown away by all the customer service. The hotel was also in the most convenient place to walk to the waterfront! I already have told multiple people interested in Key West that they MUST stay with y’all! Thank you so much for making such an awful evening into a very pleasant bright spot in our Key West stay 🙂

Merlin Guest House – Great Getaway!

My family and I stayed at the Merlin Guest House 2 bedroom cottage for 4 nights and had a fantastic time.  The cottage was roomy, comfortable and very clean, and the staff were friendly and exceptional.  The location was close to many activities, yet quiet in the evening.  If we come back to Key West, we’ll definitely look at the Merlin Guest House again.

Lighthouse Court Hotel – Outstanding Service, Short Walk To Duval, Excellent Accomodations

My wife and I stayed at the Lighthouse Court Hotel for our destination wedding. The hotel room was very comfortable and spacious and within a short walk to Duval street bars and restaurants. The hotel also provides a great pool area and poolside Mojito bar (delicious!). But what I found most noteworthy was the outstanding service. The staff – from the sales team, to front desk, to maintenance and housekeeping – all went out of their way to make our stay incredibly special. I would stay at Lighthouse Court Hotel again and recommend it to anyone staying in Key West!

Lighthouse Court Hotel – Does Not Get Any Better In Key West

The room “E-1” is the room that you must rent, great location, close to everything and in a low noise area…we live here and tried different places. This the best room we have ever stayed in. All the other rooms are very good for location and price at the Lighthouse Court Hotel, the pool is very nice, the bar is well stocked and De De the bartender is excellent. The Manager Danielle, hope I spelled it right, is great and manages one of the best operating staffs in the Key West service industry. A thank you – shout out to reservations (Cathy and Victoria)

Merlin Guest House – Great Short Getaway

Booked this hotel online after previously staying at their Key Lime Inn (another great vacation).  The room we had was spacious and very clean and relaxing.  The morning buffet was very satisfactory as the weather was hot and the continental choice was very good but not heavy – preparing us for a good day of walking around.  The hotel is situated just 3 mins to Duval and all the main attractions.  The hotel staff were very helpful in picking our dining locations with the best recommendation being the “Off the Hook” restaurant just across the street.   Our plan to return to Key West before the end of the year will include either the Merlin or one of their other 5 Historic Key West Inns hotels.  Thanks to you all for making our getaway a successful relaxing, fun time.
