Lighthouse Court Hotel – Short Stay In Key West

The Lighthouse Court Hotel is centrally located in a relatively quiet area right across from the Hemingway House. The accommodations are comfortable and clean. The pool is nice and the attached mojito bar reasonably priced. Staff was very polite and helpful with tourism questions.  The breakfast provided was basic and we chose to eat out two of the days instead.

Key Lime Inn – Highly Recommend This Hotel

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the friendly staff. Our room was ready within minutes of our arrival. The room was beautiful — very clean and decorated so beautifully. We were surprised to return to our room later the first day to a welcome bottle of champagne. The continental breakfast by the pool was very good and plenty for us. Again, we were greeted by a very friendly staff member who made sure we had everything we needed. The hotel was located in a great area; we could easily walk to all attractions.

The Key Lime Inn would be our top choice if we were ever in the area again.

Chelsea House Hotel – Wonderful Stay For A Large Group

I loved the location of the hotel and the rooms (each a little different in design). We enjoyed being able to sit out by the pool and deck areas as a group without feeling like we were bothering other guests. The staff went over and above to help with any of our needs; they were professional and courteous, which made all the difference throughout our stay.

We as a group have been coming to Key West for 8 years now and the Chelsea House Hotel has won us over and I see us coming back for many years to come. I would recommend rooms 14, 15 & 16 if you want to have a deck area for a small group to enjoy. The only thing I would suggest that if you have issues with going up steps to ask for a room on the main level when you make your reservations.

Chelsea House Hotel – Great Location

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The location was very convenient particularly if you did not have a car. Several restaurants were in walking distance and the shops on Duval were easy to reach.  Breakfast was simple and basic.  Easy access to a microwave (staff did provide assistance when needed) would have been nice.  Our room had nowhere else to sit except the bed. Additional seating would have been nice.  Overall a nice place to stay.

Cypress House Hotel – It Was More Than Just A Place To Stay

Adults only Yes!!!!!! We left our two young ones at home and that is where we liked them to stay, due to a much needed trip to the Keys alone. Cypress House Hotel offered more than a Beautiful, quiet, historic room for us; it was an experience. We skipped the big name hotels and inclusive resorts for something more meaningful and intimate and it paid off. Aside from the “given” exceptional and friendly service we have left with a lifetime of pleasant memories from great encounters and friendships made with other guests.

The overall stay was memorable and will be etched in our happy spots of our brains.

  1. like minded friendly guests
  2. Exceptional personal service from a wonderful staff
  3. historic rooms fully equipped
  4. Location Location Location
  5. Heated Pool
  6. Breakfast and happy hour service

Just to mention a few.

Thank you for your accommodations

Cypress House Hotel – Great Place To Stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Cypress House Hotel. Room was very comfortable, breakfast had nice choices, liming was a fun afternoon treat; just an overall wonderful stay. Staff was great. Dennis was super. Loved Pepe’s Restaurant. Loved an afternoon sail we took with Danger Tours; sipping wine and watching the sunset was priceless.

Albury Court Hotel – Wonderful Yearly Get Away

This was our yearly get away for our anniversary. I love staying at Albury Court Hotel as the rooms are so comfortable and clean. They are also very spacious.  We even had a lovely private deck to escape to on the roof! It’s a great place to observe the osprey, turkey vultures and seagulls.

The staff are very friendly and are always smiling and saying hello! They were also very happy to have us back year after year. It feels like home away from home.

Breakfast by the pool is a wonderful way to start a day of relaxation.  The food is good and the pastries are from a local bakery.  There is a waterfall and it’s very quiet and away from the road.  We also love that there is a great bike shop 2 blocks down and the hotel has racks out front. It’s in a very convenient location to everything!

Was sad to leave but looking forward to another trip to my favorite island next year!!

Another Great Stay At Merlin Guest House!

My husband and I along with 2 other couples stayed at the Merlin Guest House during the Key West Wine Festival.  This is the second visit for us and a couple of our friends and a first for another couple.

We returned to the Merlin Guest House for several reasons:  we love the quaint atmosphere of the hotel (no crowds!), the beds are very comfy, the rooms are IMMACULATE, courtyard area is very welcoming, Jordan the cat helps me miss my cats less, the staff is always friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating. The location is PERFECTLY situated midway between the gulf coast and the Atlantic.

I struggled between giving Merlin Guest House 4 or 5 pineapples. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 was due to the lack of storage in our queen room (one of the couples with us had a king room with more storage). In our queen room, there was only one dresser and a wall-mounted 3-hook clothing rack on the wall. Otherwise, this boutique hotel is perfect.

When we plan to visit Key West in the future we won’t stay anywhere else!

Chelsea House Hotel – Pleasant Stay Both Times

Check in with Mischa was quick and efficient. Breakfast was sufficient and items were constantly being refilled. Got an upgraded room with manager Matt for a little more money. Both the original room and upgraded room were very clean. We went to La Te Da for an excellent dinner and a drag queen show.  Get to show early as seats are first come first serve.  Had fantastic desserts one evening at Better Than Sex. Hotel is in a great location within walking distance to most places.  A very enjoyable two night stay in Key West!

Chelsea House Hotel – Fantastic 3 Day Stay

My wife and I recently stayed at the Chelsea House Hotel 1/30 until 2/2.   What we found was a great experience during our time there.  Upon entering the lobby for check-in, we were greeted by the most polite lady who informed us that while our room was still being readied, we could store our luggage in the lobby while we went to lunch.   She gave us plenty of suggestions of places to go and we ended up having a fantastic lunch and beverages at the Southernmost Cafe.  After a trip down Duval street we headed back and checked-in a few hours later.   Smooth sailing.

Our room was very clean and comfortable and right next to the pool which we used at some point every day.  It was perfect for what we needed.

The breakfasts at the pool were very good.  Plenty to eat and good coffee.  We didn’t ask for anything but I did notice the staff was prompt and willing to assist other guests that did.   We rented bikes one day and used the recommendation of the morning clerk and everything worked out well.

It was a very quiet location which was nice.   Enjoying Duval Street during the evenings, it was nice coming back to a quiet room and slept great.

We will be back in Key West at some point down the road and it will be hard not to stay here again. Thank you again.
