Cypress House Hotel – Wonderful Overnight Stay

A friend was visiting us from Ohio and we were staying for 1 night in Key West.  I wanted to make sure she thoroughly enjoyed her visit.  She mentioned another property she had stayed at a few years back but when I checked the rates it was very pricey.  I searched and read dozens of reviews before settling on the Cypress House Hotel.  What an excellent choice!!

Jacob who checked us in was great.  He was more than pleasant and gave us a fantastic recommendation for lunch.  Our rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable.  I particularly love having a bathroom where there is plenty of room for my toiletries, make-up, etc.  The afternoon happy hour (which includes an appetizer) and morning continental breakfast were great.  The Cypress House Hotel would be our first call when staying on Key West again!

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Key Lime Inn for two nights while we were in Key West and thought it was a great hotel with a very good location and excellent service.

Lighthouse Court Hotel – Best On Island

We have stayed at most of the hotels in Key West. By far Lighthouse Court Hotel is our favorite.  We feel as though we live in Key West when staying there.  The property is well maintained. Decorated lovely inside and out. The porches on the cottages are wonderful.  Each morning a complimentary breakfast is served around the pool patio.  The staff are friendly and exceptionally helpful.  Everyone we have recommended to stay there has loved it as much as we do.

Lighthouse Court Hotel – Great Location and Value

I recently stayed for 5 nights at the Lighthouse Court Hotel for my wedding. The first two nights were spent in a standard king room and the three remaining nights were spent in the Hemingway Suite. I was impressed by both. The standard king room was bright, spacious, and clean, offering ample space for all of our belongings (and centerpieces). The Hemingway Suite was incredible. I’ve stayed at many hotels on the island, and this is by far the best value and most unique room I’ve had the pleasure to stay in. The views of the Hemingway Home and Key West Lighthouse were absolutely breathtaking.

Cypress House Hotel – Great Stay

I would highly recommend a stay at the Cypress House Hotel.  The staff was very helpful with any questions we had and very knowledgeable of the local area.  They even made reservations for us.  The location was within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go.

The breakfast was all I needed.  One hot item and hard boiled eggs, cereal, locally made pastries and bagels.  The banana bread was delicious.

I also enjoyed the liming hour.  We were able to try some new food and drinks.

The only comment I would have is if you are not able to walk stairs please request a lower level room.  We were on the 3 floor which was a 40 stair walk.  We did not have an issue with it, we looked at it as exercise and worried a little less about the amount of food we ate.

Merlin Guest House – Loved It!

Enjoyed everything about my stay here including the friendly cat and staff. Breakfast could have been healthier but was good.

Merlin Guest House – Absolutely Amazing

The location of the Merlin Guest House is perfect being so close to the activity on Duval yet far enough away to not be disturbed by it either. The entire staff took excellent care of us and everyone we brought with us as well.  Linda did an excellent job making sure everyone was happy with their rooms and Kenneth helped with suggestions of where to go and what to do.  Mary and the entire housekeeping staff went far beyond their duties helping us with the amount of rooms that we occupied.  I already have and will continue to recommend the Merlin Guest House for anyone visiting Key West.  This is what hospitality should be like and it is very well done here.

Lighthouse Court Hotel – Another Wonderful Stay At the Lighthouse!

This was my second time staying at the Lighthouse Court Hotel, and I fell in love with it all over again! I would recommend this place to everyone visiting Key West. I live in the keys and love this place! Check-in and check-out was super simple and the staff is very personable and helpful. We had a super spacious 2 queen bed room that me and my 3 friends shared. The property is set under beautiful trees allowing for perfect shade and just the right amount of quietness from the town. It has a wonderful pool and bar area, as well as a cool cornhole area right next to the Lighthouse. It’s located right next to the Hemingway house and walking distance to Fort Zachary beach! We also walked down Duval street every night for great music at the Green Parrot, Irish Kevin’s, the Green Room (locals spot), and Hogs Breath. There’s great food at the Conch House down by the marina! Overall, you get your money’s worth here!

Cypress House Hotel – Good Value For The Price

The Cypress House Hotel is one block off of Duval which allows for walking to most of the local restaurants and attractions!! The accommodations were a good value for the price, a clean place to sleep without some amenities and adult only. Simple, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, decent continental breakfast and a daily liming “happy hour” with complimentary drink and appetizer. The pool has limited space around it to lounge which is not an issue if you’re out and about all day.
