Merlin Guest House – Our Home In Key West

We wouldn’t stay anywhere else. For the location and price, we believe it’s the best value in Key West. From housekeeping to front desk, all are attentive to our needs. Our room is clean, breakfast is ready, iced tea is cold and everyone is friendly. I’d like to especially mention Linda and Kenneth in the office. Whether we needed a taxi or our boarding passes printed, they were ready to help with a smile. And they seemed genuinely interested in getting to know us as well. Finally, I confess that we love that other resident, Jordan Del Gato. He was waiting to greet us outside our room each morning. We’ll be back soon to see our extended family. Thanks for another great trip!

Chelsea House Hotel – Great Place To Stay In Key West

The Chelsea House Hotel is well located, near Duval Street and with good parking amenities. Once parked you can literally enjoy the Center of key West. Large shops outside the Center are also easily reachable.

We booked a double bedroom and were pleased to see a terrace was available. Although shared with other guests at the floor it was nice having an external spot to relax.

The room was cosy, well decorated and modern, although respecting the historic, classic style typical to houses of the Region. The pool is really enjoyable (the fact that spare towels and drinking water was available was a plus) and the breakfast very nice.

In conclusion, we had a really nice stay and would definitively feel like coming back there again very soon.

Cypress House Hotel – Little Piece Of Heaven On Earth!!!

Where to begin??? This was our HONEYMOON hotel of choice and we couldn’t have picked a better place to enjoy our time together. Our total experience at the Cypress House Hotel in Key West was beyond AMAZING…..From the minute we parked in front of the Check In office….WOW!!….

THE STAFF was the friendliest group of people I’ve ever met. They made check in so easy and welcoming. Very hospitable individuals, took us around to show us where everything was located, helped us carry our bags to our room……I felt like if I’ve known them forever. We didn’t have to ask for much but when we did, even if it was to throw away a late night pizza box, they always had a smile!

THE PROPERTY- Just like my title states, It truly is a Little Piece of Heaven on Earth……..The HOTEL is just tucked away on a small corner spot…….The pool & Happy Hour area are so tranquil and the perfect spot to get away after a day of walking around the island.

THE EXTRAS – Breakfast had great options. You only need something light for breakfast, you will need the appetite to enjoy the local FABULOUS  places to eat! Happy Hour was great, and the different menu everyday was great!!! The RUM PUNCH that was served was amazing!!!!! Absolutely perfect touch!

THE ROOM was just what we needed. Not too small, not too big! Updated and still had the Old Key West island charm. The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms very spacious. We were given fresh towels everyday. Even if we left the do not disturb sign on our door, we always had a small bag of fresh towels and toiletries outside our door every day.

THE LOCATION- This secluded hideaway was in the perfect location to get to every hot spot location in key west, literally 5-10 minute walk.

Our stay at the Cypress House Hotel made it very hard for us to leave and come back home……..We would like to extend our gratitude to all the staff at the Cypress House and say THANK YOU for spoiling us!!! We cant wait to return!!

Key Lime Inn – Everything We Were Looking For In A KW Hotel

I searched high and low to find the perfect place to stay, the week after Valentine’s Day, for my friend’s 40th birthday celebration. We usually rent homes for our KW vacations, but couldn’t find proper availability 2 months prior. After an aggravating search, a friend recommended the Key Lime Inn.

From the moment I called to get info to the final moment we left for our flight, the staff was super accommodating, informative & always smiling, no matter how many questions or requests we had. We were able to fly in early, leave our bags for a few hours to get food, got early check in and late check out. The pool was clean, quiet and so inviting, morning breakfast was yummy with a little of everything (esp after late nights out on the town–Duval Crawl), the rooms were clean, quaint, modern, nicely decorated, beds were so comfy. Even tho there wasn’t a refrigerator in the room, we were able to bring coolers to keep leftovers and refreshments.

We loved the grounds, so peaceful and pretty, it was just what we all needed to rejuvenate from everyday life. The location was just right, close to the action, as we walked all over the place!

I’d recommend a sunset sail, Kermit’s Key Lime Shop, the 2 Cents Pub (although we missed the Happy Hour bacon), The Bull & Whistle bar (downstairs) for daytime people watching, & whatever you do…DO NOT miss Blue Heaven for brunch-amazing food, kind people, artists, music, just plain enjoyment.

We have now found our favorite place to stay in KW…Key Lime Inn!

Thank you owners & staff!

Cypress House Hotel – Wonderful Authentic Key West House

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cypress House Hotel.

The hotel has a wonderful authentic Key West atmosphere, with great staff, and is located just 2 blocks away from ‘everything’ (without the disadvantages of being right in the midst of it). We rented bicycles just around the corner (at JV Rent’All – good bikes for a good price!) and discovered the island (again, as re-visitors). We ended up listening to live music at Sloppy Joe’s. And we were ‘back home’ within just minutes.  Breakfast was good. So, a great stay for a Key West visit!

The only side note we had, is about the air conditioning being too noisy. This made us turning it off to get asleep – and waking up due to the warmth after a couple of hours. But hey, it is vacation and you are in Key West, so it’s just part of it…

Wonderful Time At The Key Lime Inn

My wife and I recently stayed at the Key Lime Inn and enjoyed every minute of it.  This was our first time visiting Key West, and staying at the Key Lime Inn helped make our visit a very positive experience.

The staff were very nice and professional, and two of them, Gail and Michelle, were very happy to thoroughly answer our questions and provide us with useful recommendations.  We felt well cared for, taken care of, and appreciated.

Our room was very clean and has been well maintained.  It provided a cozy and relaxing environment.  We enjoyed hanging out by the pool, and having breakfast outside on the patio was a delight.

The location is excellent and is in walking distance from Duval street, where a lot of the shops and restaurants are located.  We spent most of the first day enjoying the sights walking around, and the second day we rented a scooter just down the street from the Hotel, which was a lot of fun.

If you are looking for a cozy and relaxing place to stay with friendly staff in a great location, we highly recommend staying at the Key Lime Inn.

Cypress House Hotel – Romantic Weekend

My husband and I just spent 3 nights and had a wonderful time. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was big and clean, bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very nice with a hot dish every morning in addition to fruit, cereals, yogurt, bagels etc.  We loved the pool and happy hour. Great location for walking to Mallory Square, Duval and Historic Seaport.

Loved that it was all adults. We will be back!
